Has anyone ever told you two that you look like you're made for each other? I hate how cliche that sounds but when you're both in frame together you look like two puzzle pieces.... I don't know how to describe it without sounding nuts but I see it every time. It's not only that but seeing how well you work together on projects, dinner, furnishing... It's surreal to see it and it's an awfully lucky thing to have found in life.
SunnySunshine Harvey I was thinking the same thing and the fact that they share an interest in so many things is just amazing.. They’re definitely a beautiful couple. God bless.
charasmatic aware people fit together as a way of showing love and compassion. This woman is charismatic and that is why she is someone who would be uploading a video of her adventures at the gem show. There are millions of people there, only a few think it would be fun to make a video of it. so it all makes sense. Under the surface of most relationships there are lots of tensions, dissatisfactions, power struggles, compromises, etc. I like to be positive, but not too idealistic.
We had so much fun here this year. I loved watching your video because I still see new things! There are so many crystals and gems there it was impossible to see it all. Hope you all had a big haul :)
I am jumping out of my skin! My dear friend, you are such a gifted artist!!!Those last images and the way they were edited is simply breath taking. Are you kidding me!!! Oh, I wish I could be you for even just long enough to create one video as beautiful and impactful as this.Wow!
Christine, I don't know anything about gemstones or crystals but you inspire me to learn about them, buy jewelry featuring them and make this a new hobby! I really want to learn about their energy. Wow!
I really admire the easy rapport you guys get with the vendors and other people at the show. I love going to antique shows and such but I get kind of overwhelmed with the crowds and sometimes stressed with the shopping experience. It might seems weird to say but your guys’ chill, happy demeanor is so inspiring.
Just noticed you like boulder opal from Australia and I just wondered if you have ever seen a Yowie Nut? They come from a remote place called Yowah in New South Wales, Australia. They're basically ironstone opal but in thunder egg form or geode like. From the outside sometimes they look like nothing but cut them open and sometimes they're incredibly beautiful.. Concentric circles of opal and often a hollow centre.
Aloha Christine, was just wondering if some of the bigger crystals are broken down into smaller pieces for jewelry? Is that how you acquire your gemstones for your line? Would love to see the process of making some of the jewelry.
Fascinating! Thanks for the grand tour! Really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful pieces earth is harboring and the lunar rocks. This show looks massive. Would love to go myself one day.
Amazing! I never really thought to much about gems but after your vlog last year I've been more interested, this year's video is just terrific, thanks for all you do!
Eeeek! I’ve been waiting to see this vlog so impatiently! Thank you for sharing. I hope I get to go to the gem show one day. Please do a gem haul. I’d love to see all the beautiful specimens you guys got.
I'm going to plan a trip to the next show and I was wondering if you knew of a nice place to stay while attending the gem show? I'm from Orange county ca which isn't too far but I will need a decent hotel. Thanks, loved your video
This was so cool to watch! I love crystals and gems, I'm doing a magazine about them for my graphic design senior thesis so it was really neat to see so many of the crystals I've been researching in this show.
Thank you for these vlogs, Christine. I went to my first gem show last year, because of these vlogs, and fell in love. Definitely want to go to the ones in Tucson.
Like usual Christine I’m living vicariously through you! I must go to the 2019 show! Riverpark Inn is my go-to show- at least twice! I gotta get one of those water bottles!
Thank you for sharing these beauties with us! I would love to build up my collection, but do you have any tips on how to ensure that the gems you purchase are being sustainably mined and that they were collected without exploiting mine workers? Thank you in advance! ❤️
I love the two tone amethyst cluster that had the smaller faceted lavender coming out of the darker larger pieces at the same place that had the unique selenite "spaceship" 😂 I also loved the quartz with the angel aura finish. So pretty!
This is so interesting Christine. I wondered also, when you purchase larger stones for your jewellery business, do you have the tools to cut them to size, or do you get it done somewhere? I really enjoyed this vlog! Thank you ❤️😊
That's quite the Gem show! I can almost feel the energy. I've never been to one as big. Very impressive. I have many small crystals, it's hard to pick a favorite. Although I'm partial to rose quartz. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks guys for sharing this! Can't wait to see the haul and how you guys use them for decor etc. Wanted to ask, was Michael sick during the video? He looks unwell. Hope you guys are both well
Hi Christine! So cool to see so many beautiful crystals. Did you guys end up getting the Selenium crystal? If you didn’t I would love to talk to the dealer about it.
What's the crystal at 19:30? Which are the crystals growing in that shape? I have one that's of the same shape but it's completely light yellow, like lemon yellow. Please help!
So do you just collect the gems or do you use them? Like are you into crystal gridding at All? I'm not really all about believing that gems have powers but I do believe that if something is grounding for you and it helps you focus for whatever reason, then it serves a good purpose.
hello,I was wondering what minimum budget is best to bring to a gem show like this ??? I have never gone to the Tucson gem show and was curious. thank you!
I really enjoyed this video! I seriously didn't know how much I would love all this stuff until I saw this video, and your lunch looked amazing! Mother Nature is incredible! Many years ago I went to the Herkimer Diamond Mine in upstate NY which is know for uniquely faceted crystals. They actually let you mine the crystals yourself. It was so much fun!
Hi, which show is this speciifcally? there are a lot of gem shows in Tucson. I would loe to go to this one, where I see there are a lot of exhibitions. thank you
I went to University in Thunder Bay that amethyst is mined and they send you a piece of it with your acceptance letter! Great vlog. Love watching you guys do things you love
Thanks Christine for the gem show video. I have been looking forward to it since before you moved. What an impressive and large collection of yummy stones!
Just found your blog. These stones are freaking gorgeous. I've never been to to Tucson during the Gem show. I come a visit my brother that lives about 45 mins. away. I need to come out to see all this.
Christine, I’ve been wanting to purchase a Himalayan Salt lamp for a long time as it’s considered to spread good vibes in the home. But am not sure where to buy one from? I need a good reliable source where they sell genuine product. Could you please guide me with this? Youand Michael are such experts in gems and crystals
I am going to the Tucson gem show next year 2019 for my birth day but I’m not sure to which show to go to. I can only stay for three days and the last of those three I will be going to the main show. I’m not looking to buy a lot of expensive things, so does anyone know which one I should go to for the first time.
I live in Ontario and I didn't know that we had that kind of amethyst here....see? I come here to learn really cool stuff! thanx for the tour - I love gems and crystals and it was a wonderous vlog...
Wow. Beautiful gems! But the whole time watching all I could think of was how they transport all that stuff. Especially that guy who had the $5,000+ crystals. I'd be so paranoid to ever touch it 🤣 haha
I love you guys. You really know how to live. Beautiful. I only wish you would do more videos. Miss your home decor and home projects. Miss your DIYS. I guess you are busy, I'm just selfish. Lol
I noticed your wallet is made from cork. I'm currently looking for one. Would you share what brand it is and how you like it? Does it hold up well? Thank you!
Think I found it, the video is called "DIY Cork Organizers For Your Purse". Christine posted the vid in August, so the wallet held up well for over 6 months - that's good to know. Thanks again @LottieLoves36!
amazing gemstones. Love the circular amethyst agate. Gemstones are my favorite decor pieces. I have a good collection of gemstones from years of gem mining. Recently, I've started buying gemstones from Etsy and at flea markets. I've found some good deals. I haven't been to a gem show, but my geology teacher and her husband go to them. They love them.
Beautiful gems! I’m raised in Sonora so I know the” Dogo” (Sonoran dog) was so yummy!! Boy do I miss that food and the potato tacos... I love how they hook you up with the fixes to enjoy! 😊
I love all the gems. I saw a documentary about the clear crystals with the spikes. Scientist has to suit up in hazmat suits with oxygen and go deep into caves. They could only be down there for minutes due to temps. It was the coolest thing ever as it was like a colossal cave full of giant crystals. Thanks for showing us.
It is incredible to see what has succeeded in creating mother nature in its subsoil. Unique masterpieces is perfect in every shape and color. This planet has so many precious riches ... but the greatest and unparalleled is "life in all its forms"!🌏😍❤️
I am a big lover of Selenite. So, that very large piece you showed stunned me. It's so lovely. I d love to be able to add a piece like that to my collection someday

As i leaved the Show i was on 2150 Us Dollars. Next Time i will Act a lil smarter (if its possible, too much Eyecatchers). 2 Questions to you and your Husband. How many Minerals/Gems you had in your Collection over the Years? And what is your absolutly Favorite One?
Hey guys! What are your favorite crystals and gemstones?
The ones that stay in the ground :)
I like the rose quartz..but the white crystals are my favorite! But then there are so many..its hard to commit. 😊

Aquamarine -- beautiful !
I cannot choose. I love them all. Rose quartz is always nice and gentle

This was super relaxing to watch. And you know so much about crystals it's impressive

Made my heart flutter when I saw the clear quartz clusters! What clarity!!
Aloha Christine, was just wondering if some of the bigger crystals are broken down into smaller pieces for jewelry? Is that how you acquire your gemstones for your line? Would love to see the process of making some of the jewelry.
This year was my first visit to the gemshow and your video brought back so many happy memories. I can't wait to go back every year I possibly can!
Fascinating! Thanks for the grand tour! Really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful pieces earth is harboring and the lunar rocks. This show looks massive. Would love to go myself one day.
I am overwhelmed just by watching this short video... So many beautiful gems! I would die to be there in person 😂
Very pretty! What do you do with all the crystals that you buy? Do you just display them as decor? Do you use the smaller pieces to make jewelry?
Amazing! I never really thought to much about gems but after your vlog last year I've been more interested, this year's video is just terrific, thanks for all you do!

Really Cool Video. I flyed from Germany also to the Tucson Show this Year with 2 Weeks Vacation in the USA. Was so a pleasure to be there. Problem, there was so many many many Minerals and Gems. I said myself as i arrived: Okay, you got a Limit and this is between 500-1000 Us Dollars, dont spend more. After 6 Hours i controlled what i buyed and the Shock was not bad. Nearly 1800 Us Dollars.
