On February 24th we were proud to present an original Bob Ross Alaskan Velvet Gold Pan Painting at auction, which sold for $8,500 + BP!
An absolute icon of public television forever venerated in the world of pop culture today, Bob Ross and "The Joy of Painting" was beloved by many. This authentic Bob Ross oil on velvet Alaskan gold pan painting would have been done by Ross in the 1970's while stationed in Alaska, where he began painting with the wet-on-wet technique. It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Bob Ross Incorporated, signed by Annette Kowalski, April 14, 2022.
