what happened to the terbo car 2/9 at east bay after leading at halfway, but so many had trouble too, at least 2 lost a drive shaft about 5 under the hood problems at least 5 w/ tire problems, was it the track?
Turbo is a novelty. Bobby Pierce will end his career as one of the top 5 dirt racer of all time.

It seems like RTJ's tires don't go down like everyone else's.
All classes from local racing up to super dirt latemodels need to take grip away to help with tracks taking rubber and put emphasis on the driver. Racing was best when the cars were hard to drive and even the leaders fought to keep their car underneath them lap after lap. When clean air is important 1 caution can kill a race

Local racing is dying because people are spending traveling money to beat up on locals, if you got 40g in a B-mod move up to A-mods, if you have a 80g A-mod you should run a latemodel ...
