When I was 16 and never been in a late model before, Donnie rented us his track for pennies compared to most places. When we broke a ball joint, they went home, grabbed one, Devin and Wylie helped tow me back and change it. Then let me go back out and run til dark. All on a weeknight. Most of my family wouldn't even do that if they were millionaires or not.
Man I used to live about a mile down the road from Donnie and the MCS. Went to school with Devin and Tristin. Really good people. Lived down the road from them for 20+ years. Donnie never knew me but if I drove by and he was out mowing I'd wave and he'd wave back. I'd love to move back out there again! If I couldn't make it to the races I could always hear them!
I worked at Mastersbilt for a couple years. I got to know the Morans. They're a great family. All the kids were little then but you could tell they would great things when they got older.
