I have polio and I had been using crutches for a long time. I did NEVER see a pair of crutches which I could not walk with them in my life. I bought Ergobaum from online, but I could not use them in my room let alone to use them outside. They look modern, such as light, horn, etc. But This is the problem: The elbow, doesn't give the type of support I need, if I tilt my body on one side, I am sure I will fall down. They also bounce, and I did not like that feature. Please, Ergobaum company, change the ELBOW because it is too soft to hold a grown person's body, and make them less pound.
hola buenas tardes desde mexico caresco de la pirna izquierda me gustaria que de alguna manera pudiera conseguir unas muletas ergobaum three point clutch gait mi problema es que tengo una oprotesis articulada que me regalaron echa en el hospital militar de esta ciudad y viendo las protesis en otros paises estamos en pañales aqui en mexico ya que no ponen la devida atencion hacia nosotros los discapacitados mi accidente fue en el 2002 y mi amputacion fue en el 2010 y no entiendo si mi problema fue arriba de la rodilla donde fue fractura expuesta me operaron infinidad de veces poniendome placas enpalmadas en lugar de una placa completa y cortandome 12 cm. de femur dejando la misma distancia sin juntar el femur creo que nunca iva a soldar estando tan despegado al final de las operaciones multiples me dijeron que mi femur era de mala calidad y me propucieron la amputacion y me quitaron la parte sana de mi pierna no me paso nada dedonde me amputaron hacia abajo como ven asi se las gastan en mexico en el hospital de lomas verdes ahora me detectaron diabetes del tipo 2 y me da miedo usar la protesisi porque uasandola me salen fistulas ( Absesos de pus en el muñon ) que por cierto me lo dejaron peor que si lo hubiera cocido un zapatero a mano les suplico de la manera mas atenta que me ayuden a obtener estas muletas por favor
I just bought one of these, thinking they'd be great. I'm disappointed that they don't feel sturdy enough to support my body weight. As an amputee, I was expecting these crutches to provide me with support for long hikes, without my prosthesis, so I could develop my upper body at the same time. I'm a bit disappointed and I'm hoping this had been made clear at the Ergobaum's Ebay or Amazon stores.
