Ouch, I didn't know that the XJL had been damaged. Great to know that you are happy with the repair. I was going to ask about the aroma but then you mentioned it at 6:24 . It's a wonderful car. I wish you better luck with it in the future.
I actually made this video more than half a year ago, but I have problems with speaking properly. I'm obviously not confident enough to be speaking on video yet, but I'm working on it. The repairs took time, but once completed, I'm happy again. Can't believe the car is 13 years old already.
Please don't let my other comment dent your confidence. One day I will try recording something in Norwegian, then you will be helpless with laughter ... and deserve a PhD in lingustics after correcting every word.
@@Hertog_von_Berkshire No worries! I think it's quite normal to not like hearing our own voices. I can (could?) speak fluently 12 languages, but it appears as my English is not that good anymore. 😅😅 Your support is appreciated no matter what!
J-O, English is one crazy language as you know, especially the correspondance between spelling and pronunciation. I hope you don't mind me pointing out something about the words "cleanliness", which *should* be pronounced "clean-li-ness" and probably was in yesteryear but, for unknown reasons, is now pronounced "clenn-li-ness". Totally crazy but true! I mention it only because I know you are a perfectionist and you are broad-shouldered enough to accept a small lesson ... in public where it hurts the most 😆. As always, I loved the video.
My worst fear: mispelling some words on a video. 🤣 I was really hoping nobody noticed. I'm actually having "challenges" speaking on videos, because I really don't like hearing my voice. 🤣 I have been told that it's quite common to not like hearing their own voices on video. I have seriously considered going for an online "text-to-speech" solution in the future - like the voice I use at the end of most of the videos, or just videos with subtitles and no speech. ☺️ 😆 Thanks so much for the support - and the public lesson! 😁 🤣
Yes, I am the same - don't like to hear my own voice. When I speak, I sound like Richard Burton. When I hear a playback I sound more liks Daffy Duck. 😆

@@Hertog_von_Berkshire Well, Richard Burton is not the worst voice to hear. 🤣
@@Hertog_von_Berkshire I wish I sounded like Darth Wader or maybe even Sir David Attenborough.
