  • Our Cambodian friends and neighbours, Seng and May, a couple with two children, graciously invited us to lunch in Canley Vale and Cabramatta, located in Sydney's Western Suburbs.
Cabramatta, often considered the heart of Asian multiculturalism in Australia, has transformed from a modest suburb of post-war immigrant dwellings into a lively hub of delightful food and fresh produce, infused with a distinct Vietnamese influence.
As we wandered through the bustling streets, surrounded by intriguing characters and tantalizing aromas of Asian street cuisine, friendly smiles greeted us.
It was a wonderful day out and about with good friends, sensational food and interesting culture. Well worth a visit.

I love it except for the parking.

@@bustersmate Canley Vale is less busy and has the same eateries and produce shops.
