    impressive.. indeed.
    should I attempt this with golfer's elbows?

    • @UnityGymOnline
      @UnityGymOnline  5 років тому +1

      Hey Nizam Ali … [link to suggested playlist below] Golfers elbow is a tendinopathy issue and therefore, must be treated case-by-case basis depending on the severity of tissue damage. The goal is always to stimulate the damaged tissue enough to remodel, but not too much that you continue/further damage it. We tell our clients that you need to take your elbow to a 4 out of 10 on the discomfort scale for best results.
      My advice (if you haven't already) is to check out our Golfers Elbow playlist … definitely watch the first three (3) videos, in order. We have some really great info on tendinopathy rehab and prevention, because all three of us, Rad, Richard and myself (Yani) have suffered golfers elbow at some stage.
      Here's a link to the full Golfers Elbow playlist my friend … let us know how you go.

    Thoracic mobility drills are so great. I'm still working on achieving proper thoracic rotation and shoulder extension especially in the deep squat, but my general thoracic extension has already improved a lot. I guess I was blocked up for 20 years due to unilateral strength training and biking, sitting a lot etc. This is an awsome rejuvenating feeling, just to be able to move. It also helped with a persistent, debilitating lower back pain. Thanks a lot, also for the no-BS explanations. Especially that you have mentioned that you must go easy on the rotations until you can extend properly. Most fitness-youtubers with a great mobilty just promote perfect-form squatted thoracic rotation exercises even for beginners. Glad that you put this straight.

    Great content/info, but you say in point 2, your emphasized order is ext/flex, then side bend/flex, and finally rotation. Then your order of exercises went ext/flex, rotation and then side bend/flex. Is there a reason for this or did I miss something? Thanks.

    I've only just found your channel and really appreciate the mobility exercises you demonstrate - so much so I've subscribed to your channel!
    However may I suggest that you be extra careful with some of the information or terms you use? For a couple of examples: the word is subLUX, not subLAX; and the facet joints are not ribs articulating with discs... These may be minor points and possibly irrelevant for those that don't know much about anatomy, but you do lose some credibility with those viewers that do, when the incorrect terms or info is used.
    Nonetheless, I loo forward to improving my mobility with your help!

    Regarding the tandem back balls, can you update your link to source those. The video shows 3 different sizes possible, but the link only shows 1 size. I have looked on the internet, and all the balls are the same size namely lacrosse diameter balls, which I think are 2.5". If you buy one set only, is that the size you recommend. Can you indicate the 3 size options you are recommending, and where to get each of them. Thanks

    • @UnityGymOnline

    • @UnityGymOnline
      @UnityGymOnline  Рік тому +1

      That's an issue a lot of people face when they focus on one area of the body. You fix one problem only to uncover another. I've found that training for strength and flexibility in the entire body (not just where I feel I need it) takes care of this. That way I don't fix one thing only to notice another.
