After watching this video, I used crossfire. It works. The first day I noticed the bed bugs started to come out. I kept using it for two weeks. I skipped a day between spays. Now I don't see no sign of them. Crossfire worked for me. Thank you for this video.

Moved back into my Condo after renting it out for 1 year and the tenants left bed bugs and cockroaches. They were so filthy. I didn't even know what a bed bug looked like. This is very helpful. They bit us the 1st night so many times, they hide everywhere and anywhere but at least we don't have furniture in yet.

I was with my mom at the hospital and found a nymph in her day planner. About a week later I found a bed bug crawling on my couch pillow in the middle of the day. Turns out my mom had bed bugs at her house. She was never at my house but she was in my car several times over the last couple of months and I sat on her couch for about an hour at her house two months ago. I had bedbugs in college 15 years ago because they fumigated the dorm next to me and didn’t tell me. It was a horrible experience and I brought them home that time and it was a nightmare to get rid of. Currently I cannot find any evidence of bedbugs other than the one I saw. I treated my house just in case per your videos with crossfire and i treated my car as well. I didn’t completely pull the felt off my sectional but opened big sections and sprayed liberally throughout after vacuuming along with all baseboards and my bed and headboard. Washed and dryed all sheets, pillows, blankets from my bed and couch. Have been drying my clothes on high heat immediately when I get in the house from the car. No evidence of any more. I bought some raid traps just to check to see if I have anymore. Should I do more treatments? Is it possible I just had the one that got in my car or something? The one I saw didn’t have any blood in it and I don’t have any bites. I was allergic to them and had welts the first time but I know reactions can change. My cats ears are a little red so I’m worried she got bit but I can’t find any other than the one that crawled on my couch pillow in the middle of the day. How vigilant should I be moving forward and how can I know if it was just the one? I know they multiply quick so I don’t want to leave it alone and then they’re there and it gets bad. But I don’t want to continuously spray pesticides if I don’t have to. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

I must commend you for your calming demeanor & giving me a sense that this is a problem I can solve/prevent myself because I don’t have the vast amount of money a professional exterminator will cost. I had bed bugs years ago & it was incredibly stressful for weeks. Bizarrely I can’t recall if we got a professional in or not but I remember using diatomaceous earth found it very effective. At the end of March I stayed in a hotel near Disney in CA & came back with bed bugs. I cleaned my house more thoroughly than ever, used the diatomaceous earth again & they seemed to die off but then after a 3 week hiatus they came back, and I feel like I have PTSD - I got sick at the same time as they returned so I didn’t have the energy to do a thorough clean so had to suffer for a week of bites AND coughing, sleepless nights. I’ve spent a small fortune on various treatments so I’m glad to have a professional recommendation of what to use. I think I’ve managed to stop the biting for the moment but I’ll get the Crossfire just to be extra sure! Thank you for the advice and mostly for giving me hope that I can resolve this myself! ❤

Clothes were filthy and as I went through the bag I saw the bugs I thought I’d got rid of the bag and clothes quick enough but no. Been fighting them for months mainly with steam, it’s hard going we don’t have the same chemicals over hear. Heat treatment are the only effective legal way to get rid of them

So I had found 1 bedbug under my bed and 1 in my bathroom. I had the heat treatment done at 135 degrees for 6 hours. Plus the furniture and mattress was sprayed with Talstar P. For two days I saw nothing and on the third night with clean sheets and a mattress encasement I got up the next morning and had four poop spots and a couple of smears on my clean sheets. No infestations were ever found and only found one dead bedbug after the heat treatment inside of a Chest type piece of furniture. What would you recommend as my next step because obviously the heat did not kill them. I live alone but I have 10 cats( indoor/outdoor, I rescue) and one dog. I do believe I saw spots on the dogs bed as well because she has clean sheets on her bed and I found three spots on her bed. What next???? I’ve driven myself insane cleaning and cleaning and being diligent about spraying alcohol on all surfaces before and after heat treatment! I’m desperate seeking a solution!!!! Thanks for your video!!!!

I hand washed the pieces as they are small and cut fabrics ravel in the washer. What I saw in the water after I soaked the cloth were tiny, red V's. The V's were not bits of thread. There were a total of 17 in two pieces of fabric.
Were those V's the shedding of the bed bugs' too small shells (carapace) or were the V's recently hatched bed bugs that were in the infant stage?

The exterminator found a lot of adult and baby bed bugs on our mattress/box spring! So had treatment done and stated we have one month warranty if we do see any again but I don’t want to keep spraying chemicals with my baby around. First time they said to stay away from apartment until 4-5 days for her. So my husband and I came back and we were trying to check the bed so we could cover with bed bug covers (we just bought) when we found a few babies. What should we do? Should we vacuum the mattress/box spring where we see the dead ones? I panic I just want to throw away the whole mattress and box spring lol I don’t do bugs 😭 lol

Eviction over bed bugs is illegal. In the state of VA it is state law Land Lords take care of bed bug infestations unless there is a bed bug addendum written into the rent agreement. I'm sorry people fail to understand the need for decent pest control in rental homes. It sounds like you are taking every step to eliminate.

Best thing I ever did was go with the most simple metal bedframe I could find that also would support a mattress without requiring a box spring. The bonus benefit to that is you don't have a box spring to move when you move, and the more simple metal bedframes are easy to tear down for moving as well. I always keep bed bug interceptors on the bed and also put double sided carpenters tape on all the legs. Obviously this doesn't solve an infestation, but I've found it has stopped future infestations and when I did have an infestation, made it easier to deal with.

Are there any options for me?
I am only getting 1 to 2 bites / night. I have my futon in the center of a Japanese carpet. Could I treat around the ends of the carpets? For now I am just washing my Futon on high heat every other night.
    Could that be enough?

I had gotten bites the past 2 weeks I thought I was allergic to Collagen Peptides because I started taking them for vitamins, but then I looked at pictures of bites and looks like bedbugs, I have not seen any and so I am freaked out so I bought the Hot Shot brand, do not even know what to do, I did take all covers off the bed and pillowcases and washed them and threw away the pillows, I took apart the bed and it is pretty old with a wooden frame, tried spraying everything, bought an encased cover for box spring and mattress after I sprayed it i put them into the casing....now after I saw a review on the hot shot stuff am sadly disappointed and creeped out more then ever!!! I am scared!!! My husband sleeps in another room and not sure if we have any but the bites are only on me, should I toss the bed and frame and box spring and treat the whole house??? I saw a bed bug last night. Soon as i turned my light off i saw it scurry across a white pillow case. I had taken down a futon i got second hand, hadn't used in 2 years and was basically reserved for toys and stuffed animals in the corner of the living room. When i took it down, i put the wood peices in closets and my kids used the futon to jump on for the past 3 days. Last night, my son was putting the pillows back on the bed as they had been using them on the futon so i think it came from the futon and got into the pillow. I flung it off the pillow, found it several minutes later, killed it then stayed up all night with the lights on! 😂. I also found this video abs ordered the stuff you Mentioned right away! Stopped at the harbor freight tools and got a gallon spray canister and went to work after the kids went to school. I found ZERO indication of bed bugs. I took the futon to the dump, ripped the backing off my box spring and treated all the crevices of my mattress and box spring. I also treated the floors, around the base boards in my home, prerry much everything. I've packed up all my belongings that can be washed aside from what was hanging in my closet, and am headed to the laundromat to use the huge industrial washers. My question is..."is it normal to not see any bed bugs while treating your dwelling? I didnt see any shedded skins, blood or spots like shown on.the video either. I live in a.mutli story vuikding and i know some.of my neighbors are nasty. I also use the buildings quite often for convenience. Is there another reasonable explanation for seeing 1 bed bug other than a full blown infestation?

I’m currently assisting someone who is so infested, I’m seeing he’d bugs EVERYWHERE in the bedroom except the closet. They’re behind pictures on the walls, in a storage bench that’s open on all sides with metal framing. This lady had linen and papers in there. I’ve stripped her carpet, threw out her new swivel recliner (as I saw about 100 adults and THOUSANDS of eggs and that was on the underside after I had started steaming. I told her I did not think I could truly get to all of them to eradicate the bugs. I’ve steamed the walls, floor, mattress and encasing that after I steam it a fourth time, replacing all bedroom furniture, putting down vinyl sheet flooring and going to put cimexa around mattress and foundation as well as baseboards. I will be treated living room, kitchen, and other two bedrooms in same manner. Do we have a shot at eradicating these pests?

Had a professional treatment with onslaught/sterifab 4 weeks ago. My daughter saw a live adult crawling across her pillow last weekend and the weekend before. We have caught one bug in each child’s room in a volcano trap with lure, but they shriveled up and died in them within 24 hours. How worried should I be about reinfestation?
Also how to tell new eggs from dead one ones on couch cushions?
They only want to do one treatment and inspect the house pretty poorly, I’m thinking of getting crossfire and spraying the house monthly myself.

Green Akers Pest Control LLC all in all, I have not been impressed with the “one and done treatment”. After the live bug sightings weeks after treatment, I had to contact them twice (once per week) until I received a response. The reinspection was just her lifting up my daughter’s mattress and not seeing any, then reluctantly agreeing to re-treat the children’s rooms. I honestly think that after a 1900$ misadventure I’ll spend a bit more and have some peace of mind. At least I’ll know what I sprayed and where I sprayed it :)
Since onslaught (the extended-release) version has theoretically been used on all baseboards, should I just use the crossfire on mattresses and bed frames/slats for that extra protection?

    • @GreenAkersPC
