This is my favorite episode of ss13 the most memorable one to for me. It's like things have gone to shit at cargo and the all Of The sudden this I think it was an engineer comes along and you two go to blow up lava land. You find a mining robot along the way and the three of you set off a small nuclear device and get really rich off the one afterwards. It was like reading a book, there was plot and explosions. Truly only on space station 13. Thanks Tex for another truly great story.
i do declare there will be an actual Fallout to this fine tale, expect it ain't radioactive. so do you got any idea on how many deaths by exploding oxygen tanks, this amazing documentary is going to contribute towards?
100 stations before MicKinley gets banned like Cuban Pete. Next person will find away to make these big ass bombs with gunpowder and get people to run around as petards.
i guess lavalands does have one advantage, less layers then the space station, and less clutter of objects and less data involved with said item clutter.. i meany i hardly saw any more lag then normal maxcap bombs going of the station, hell those tend to clutter flying around around longer on a much much smaller area due the layering a station has to deal with.
I actually felt bad about those poor guys. I wanted to get like, 50 of them and have them all sentient, call them my children and be generally weird. Hell of a bomb though, right?
Might I suggest attempting to be traitor qm, get an emag and emag your consol, use the rest of your telecrystals to buy cash bundles. Remove all the cash and sell it to centcomm and buy like 7 null crates with a tc value of 160. Your going to need to bline to the shuttle to get the items but a valid strategy is to gather your cargo slaves and be honest. Tell them if they make tons of money they get syndy items! It's worked for me. ALSO if a miner finds an asswalker nest get them to bring the weapon disk back. I've seen his one, we sold it for 400+k and were set... To bad it was cult round
ins't the thing you mentioned @11:51 the Chaplains job? just hire him directly or bribe sec to deputize him. also bombs do solve everything, it just that there are many nay-sayers to this beautiful form of artistic solutions. you could easily clear out lava land for millions of credits by just nuking it to shit, and you also get rid of the wildlife for added value. it would take way more time to collect everything from the aftermath rather then making them.
Just make sure the bombs are far enough away and that engineering is ready to repair mining. Also bring the safety things in case you are too far from the landing site for shelter. Also bring guns to kill any surviving wildlife...
yea a good rule of thumb, don't build bombs you can't outrun, or destroy any means for safety for your environmental needs. maybe 3 screen widths max for a explosion lava land still makes it viable option, just gotta make them in 4-packs or something per mining trip back to the ore machine, that would be well over 20k miners points most likely.
How does the sentience potion work, exactly? Are the drones Ship AI controlled? Or does the game invite a player who'd want to play as a drone? Or are they NPCs? Thanks for any answers!
BlackPantsLegion I see, thanks Tex! Just one more question: And if no players are available? Does it just automate it as an NPC until a player takes the offer? Or does it just stay still until an available player is found?
So, if I know jack shit about the controls of SS13, is there a way I can launch an empty server no one can connect too and just fuck around to learn how things work? Or do I have to be a grey-tide that doesn't break into people offices.
Bionis Spider Yes you can make your own server it's really easy what you need to do is download the code from GitHub there is a page on the wiki that will link and it will tell you everything else.
You can usually go to the GitHub of the flavor of SS13 you want and they have instructions that will helpfully point out how to compile the source into a .dme you can run and how to give yourself admin. Extremely useful for testing without causing an admin to get on your case after you accident the entirety of science or, in my case, write NTSL scripts without lagging the server for everyone else.
AO2Gaming Well, its uber expensive and comcast fucked it further. However, that's "Up to" in terms of speed. More honestly, It's like 30 up and down, and split 3 ways between my room-mates

It is interesting to see yourself from a different perspective, isnt it?
Probably a whole lot
thanks for reminding me how great SP13 is, you got a new subscriber
welcome aboard
the vault needs turrets.
Yes it fucking does.
All you gotta do is ask on coms, sure an engie would do it.
poor minebot they are still out there :.,(
I actually felt bad about those poor guys. I wanted to get like, 50 of them and have them all sentient, call them my children and be generally weird. Hell of a bomb though, right?
it would be more awesome in a station right next of the engine XD
It was legit sad.

I've played ss13 for about a year now and understand that being tator is upto chance.
jay winther you must be new here. he's done that on multiple occasions
+Garrett Gregory never once seen him buy the cash bundles

Purge and sweep, make lavaland profitable again

holy fuck, how the fuck did i get so sad from just that ending. goddamn actually got tears in my eyes
It's not so bad. Checkers is always around.
so I heard lavaland does not apply bombcap
HOLY SHIT HE ACTUALLY DID IT
yep
Do you dream of crates and/or cargo?
No. Really.
yes
I really enjoy your videos. Any thoughts on making some SS13 tutorial videos?
I dont know what I'm doing half the time, but, maybe.
I really loved your SS13 Videos..did you stop making them?

Thanks for any answers!
I believe it invites people who want to be a drone
BlackPantsLegion I see, thanks Tex!
Just one more question: And if no players are available? Does it just automate it as an NPC until a player takes the offer? Or does it just stay still until an available player is found?
Milked Well I think it just NPCs until a player takes the offer
BlackPantsLegion I see, I see, thanks a bunch for the answers!
And thank you for all the exciting adventures!

I think so, ask on the IRC

What is it with people putting my youtube name before their comments and not responding to it when I bring it up?
I dont know?
Quick question: do you have amazing internet to be able to upload 4 times per day? It baffles me...
I am totally ripped off by my internet costs, but its 100 up, 100 down, on paper.
And here's me with 1.47 down, 0.64 up :(
AO2Gaming Well, its uber expensive and comcast fucked it further. However, that's "Up to" in terms of speed. More honestly, It's like 30 up and down, and split 3 ways between my room-mates
