pretty cool that , that guy has 31 trucks in CA and AZ and plans to be all over the USA. the business must be viable.
I think its great a van with all gear ready to fix your bike , but I would rather take my bike to a repair shop , were you can talk to so many more people for different types of advice I wish him the best of luck in the future
Personally I am with you. I don't know if this is a viable business or not, but in big cities many people rely on their bike as their main mode of transport, and if it breaks they want it fixed now. I bike a lot but I have multiple bikes and multiple cars. I fix them when I have the time and use another in the interim. I think if this was to work it would be in an urban environment.
I reckon we have to add an exemption to the BMFU mandate; One Less Car; unless it's a mobile bike repair shop. Free air won't pay the fuel bill either! Are these entrepreneurs always on call then like a big animal veterinarian or can they be successful on 9 to 5 hours? And I don't even want to go where I'm thinking right now but, how do they verifying all the appointments are legit? The whole business is right there on wheels if ya know what I mean.
A warm climate service can work.A winter type climate ,people put the bikes away and no business to pay the bills
The last Tri I marshaled we had Velo Bikes mobile unit support the event. It was a pretty impressive set-up.
If you're too lazy to learn to do it yourself, get your ass down to the shop!

BART: great idea! BUT you would need to haul an additional trailer equipped with a pressure washer, water tank and gasoline powered generator and a bike rack to desalt and clean the bikes before repair.
have seen these guys around my town in SF Bay Area.

a franchisee is ALSO paying a % of sales to the franchise for each sale.THIS particulate franchise was founded by a computer software fella. so the software MAY be superior to other similar bike repair franchises.
