Lagrange City Council Nominee Maiya Dowell has made some very disturbing statements about GT and the followers. According to Maiya, GT and the followers were all at the Washington DC riot in 2021.
Maiya stated that she is afraid of white men. However, she is seen on body camera hugging a Caucasian male and smiling. Is she playing this card to fit the narrative?
Maiya appeared to retaliate and use the police to silence a member of the press. Her statements made were not backed with factual data to support her theories.
Is this what Lagrange wants on the city council? Someone that will call police because the press is questioning her?

Unless the videographer is making threats, she needs to realize she is in public and can be recorded. So calling the police is a blatant waste of resources.

I like how this video shows how the police officers will play both sides of the fence in your conversations. It's great to have the video but the written paperwork is where they can play word games. How many times have we seen where a written report does not match the video and the written report is what the judge will see.
The judge will see all evidence submitted to the court or he wouldn’t know if he should allow it or not.

In this day and age, I'd argue that there shouldn't even be a written report. Video and physical evidence should be the entirety of what the prosecutor is allowed to present.

Local politicians have lost their minds. For the past 15 years there’s been very few local newspapers. It’s nice to see local reporters handling the news so well. And I think the politicians we will get in the future will handle transparency and public scrutiny better. I have hope for the future that those people will rise to the top.
They will be our future large city and state and national representatives.
Maybe this woman is just ignorant and not really doing anything wrong. She just needs to learn that her records are public and ours are not. This woman sounds to me like she has been radicalized and is suffering from delusions and paranoia. The police officer comes close to giving her legal advice in my opinion and is writing a report not about what happened on this particular evening, but an all encompassing narrative that will include the alleged actions of many, and be beneficial for conducting lawfare against GT. Let's hope if this gets before a judge that they will see it for what it is.

So, GT what are you going to do? Don't lay on your back or she'll get her fingers in with a prosecutor. I liked your come back with that lady cop but her write-up of her report must be seen as soon as possible by you or you'll have years of grief! All I really saw and heard was that cop's head bobbing in 2 directions. Expecting she only wrote down what the complainant said but nothing from your conversation. Again, though it would be a prosecutor and charges that we see so many other auditors fight with today!

I strongly encourage the Lagrange Police Department to look into any threats. However, solely calling someone a name is not a threat.

The first amendment is constantly being used in abusive ways as a test by some people and it does make people do nasty things as a “test”.
