Thank you for this beautiful video. I was born in Lagos Nigeria, my family are very nomadic and I don’t have a physical place I call home, I guess it’s London. But spiritually and ancestrally I’m drawn to Cornwall, Scotland (my husband is a Scot), Scandinavia and Africa. I lived in Munich for 5 years in the 80s and worked as a fashion designer with Escada and had an absolute ball and loved every minute of it. I then came back to the UK (even though I wanted to go to New York, but I missed London) carried on in fashion and married at 30, wrongly, got divorced. Was alone for fifteen years and then remarried at 50, very happily, moved to Wiltshire gave up my beloved, fulfilling fashion career and then I lost my Mother, brother and other loved ones, which has adversely affected me. At 59 I feel I’ve lost my gypsy and I’m desperate to find her again as we are looking for our next adventure and move. We have a camper van and want to travel more in that next year when hopefully COVID and lockdowns are calmer. But I feel scared and know I am limiting myself with “logical” arguments as to why we shouldn’t do things. Both our house sale and a house we’d offered on collapsed only this week which has been a silver lining to stop us making a big mistake as we didn’t really know where we wanted to be and were house hunting in all the wrong areas in south west England. So we have decided to keep our current house for a while until things calm down and travel next year in the camper, hopefully getting over to our beloved Europe and hope that our souls speak to us about where we should be. I guess COVID isn’t helping with big decision making as its all so uncertain. I love Marrakech. My father lived in Africa and Saudi Arabia most of his life and I have that yearning, I’ve just lost the courage and what Maryam said about living in a capsule and that if she’d lived in Boston or Florida she may not be the creative, passionate person she is, really resonated with me. I’m an artist and Wiltshire is slowly killing my creativity, spirit and I need to reignite my passion, creativity and joy. Wow life’s journeys and the twists and turns it takes us on huh?! But your video has really inspired me and given me joy and thank you for sharing it with us.

Fabulous video and story Kylie. Of all the places that I visited around the world, Marrakesh remains as the absolute highlight. My daughter and I loved it there. We learned to cook Moroccan food, rode up the Atlas Mountains on mules and spent the day with a nomadic family which was an experience of a lifetime. Thank you so much for sharing. Your videos give so many people the opportunity to be transported out of everyday life into an adventure every time. They have been a godsend during lockdown here in Melbourne. Xx

Dear Kylie, I am watching this while waiting for your latest video. Also, I am hoping to visit Marrakech for the first time in September and the hotel I had earmarked is already booked so am thinking of contacting Peacock Pavillions. In part I want to visit the Jardins Majorelle and Yves St Laurent Museum and reconnect with an old schoolfriend who visits Marrakech every September. This is a beautifully-filmed and inspiring video and interview. Both you and Maryam are remarkable and inspiring women. I appreciate that you've embarked on a different aspect of your life now, but I wish you could produce more content like this. Thank you so much for this.
Service can be a form of leadership. Lovely video! So inspiring! Their house is so full of beauty. Also, the desire of this woman to help others is incredible.
7AM in SoCal and thrilled to wake up to one of your glorious pieces! Thank you!! Going to watch, Now! Wishing you a wonderful weekend! You are Love and Loved! :-D XOXO
Kylie you have a beautiful way of highlighting the very best in people. The Universe has rewarded you for being so brave. Your projects, your art is a gift to humanity. Thank you 🥰❤️✨💞💫💝
Thank you for sharing. It's nice to hear about people that give of themselves to help other people. We seldom hear their stories. Hopefully stories like this will inspire more people to take a similar path. You weave the story beautifully.
I’ve found in my years of publishing different types of content that generally UA-cam viewers aren’t so keen on hearing of those who help others. Either it bores the masses or they instantly criticise it and suspect another agenda. I read a theory the other day that explained that people don’t like to be reminded of how they could be doing more and so this subject in content generates negativity or disengagement. Fortunately, this little community that watches my work seems to be the exception. 😊
@@KylieFlavell And we are with your channel because of your brilliant work and you are genuinely a nice person that also helps others by sharing these stories. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Another excellent video, thank you Kylie. It’s incredible how much I relate to what Maryam wrote in the last part of the video. Sometimes you feel like you are alone in those thoughts but I see we all ask ourselves those questions. I am currently going through those crossroads and I find myself thinking of the things I haven’t accomplished yet and saying goodbye to certain dreams. I love the message to never give up even if it takes years.
Thank you so much. Yes, it never ceases to amaze me how many times we (myself included) all fall into the debilitating mindset of believing we’re all alone in our insecurities. It’s such a gift when someone like Maryam is willing to be honest and vulnerable and share the lows as well as the highs to give a more three-dimensional perspective on what it actually takes to gather momentum with any project. I hope you find the strength you need for whatever crossroad you’re at right now. ♥️
Thank you Kylie. Also, thank you for the incredible resources you always share in your videos. I consider your videos as “pick me ups” it never fails, whenever I am feeling overwhelmed with certain struggles or challenges that may come my way, one of your videos gets posted and it just makes a world of a difference. You are very thoughtful and caring! Your videos illustrate the many gifts life offers. I know for me, it’s gratifying to know that I am not alone in my fears and that we all, at some point, feel lost. But what’s amazing, is how you give us that little push to inspire us and to conquer our dreams and doubts and just go for it. Through your videos, I see how nothing stops you from making your life better ❤️❤️❤️ one of my favorite videos, is when you created your own outfit during the first months of the pandemic. I think you were stuck in Florence and you were limited in the amount of clothes you had brought with you. That was impressive, lol. You have really helped us get through this crazy virus with the fun things you do at home...like picking raspberries, renovating your beautiful kitchen, the baking or cooking deliciously....it’s those simple things that inspire!! It goes a long way. Well awesome lady, I am a big fan of your channel 👍🥰🥰 keep them coming Kylie, you are making an impact!!!
Buonasera Kylie! THANK YOU so much! I really enjoy listen that inspiring lady. What a wonderful person and amazing human being! Until next friday. Have a lovely weekend!!!
Thank you so much Kylie. I had plans to move to Mexico, build a Casita and just love the energy there. Well I hit a bump in the road to build but I want to thank you for this video because I am now inspired to keep going and figure out how to make it work.
Oh I’m so glad to hear this. I’ve heard so many stories of ‘bumps in the road’ with plans like that, which can be emotionally debilitating but if you can find the strength and funds and patience to keep going, I think the end result is twice as sweet when you finally make it all work. 😊
Shes definitely a doer i admire her for her drive. i think over here is inspiring many countries around the world that havent been washed westernised are very interesting. the richness of cultures, the foods. She moved on a job transfer, Husbands an architect so im sure that helped them set up life there. Amazing. Nothing happens by accident though our souls already agreed to where we would live and when for experience her mother is iranian and im sure that was a draw to move over here.
Love it. Captures the essence, but that is perhaps Kylie Flavell because you focused on the Ruh or Soul than the Nafs Ego/Caprice. That subtlety sets videos apart. Nice to see you back to form. Maryam is incredible too.

You are just so supportive and encouraging, Edward. Thank you for appreciating my work in such detail.
This was wonderful! Thank you 💝

Wow this was so enjoyable and a slow Sunday morning....Thank You Kylie
you really do help me get through the week, like, every week! ik i have a long way to go, but i’m inching closer every day even when it doesn’t always feel like it. even when sometimes i’m scared of my own dreams bc i’ll be without friends or family or the places i grew up with. in a language i love, but don’t fully understand yet. ahhhh!!! being scared about this is a crazy feeling i think i’m scared bc i still feel like idk what i’m doing with my life when i’m supposed to be moving across the Atlantic ocean, among other things. comunque ti ringrazio con tutto il cuore per tuoi video ogni settimana e per la motivazione 💜
Ur welcome to morocco
Service can be a form of leadership. Lovely video! So inspiring! Their house is so full of beauty. Also, the desire of this woman to help others is incredible.
Maryam, like Kylie and all the other persons like them, are a big added value for the countries they decide to move to.
Welcome again to Morocco 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
Very interesting and educational!
Thank you!👍👏👏👏❤️
Why not visit Tangier, which is wonderful and beautiful, and well worth a visit

@@KylieFlavell Pitter patter! Beyond grateful!
i really like the way you listen Kylie!
Kylie you have a beautiful way of highlighting the very best in people. The Universe has rewarded you for being so brave. Your projects, your art is a gift to humanity. Thank you 🥰❤️✨💞💫💝
Fantastic Kylie!!! Thank you ❤️
Thank you for sharing.
@@WonderfulWanderingTopics thank you again. 🙏🙏
I think that you and Maryam have a lot in common. Thank you for a very interesting video
LOVE the flowers so much!!🌱🌱✨✨💗💗
Such a fabulous episode, inspiring, insightful, thought-provoking and beautiful! Thank you Kylie .
Thank you so much, Kerry. Longer conversations are my favourite stories to tell. ♥️
I always watch your videos, and today I was surprised that you were in my city. And welcome at any time because you are a wonderful person
Thank you so much. 💓
Such important work! ~Getting Girls to Stay in School! 📚📝🎓🤝🙌
Kylie you are a great story teller!
I joined your channel to learn all things Italian. But I really enjoyed this story. Good job!
Just adore this..gratitude
♥️♥️♥️
Wow so much gorgeous channel.i really love it 🥰 well done great job.morocco one my favorite place.Thank you so much make my day🦋
Interessante intervista, propositiva e positiva. Grazie🌷🌺⚘
wow thanks I'm going to morocco for christmas
Love it. Captures the essence, but that is perhaps Kylie Flavell because you focused on the Ruh or Soul than the Nafs Ego/Caprice. That subtlety sets videos apart. Nice to see you back to form. Maryam is incredible too.
This is so kind. Thank you. 🤗
So inspiring ))) happy new year 2021 ...
Wow another powerful video from you! Both of you ladies give me hope and the desire to keep going forward 💕 grazie shukraan lakum.............🤗🇨🇦
