Most people just follow the rules because "they don't want any trouble".

ya i agree he is not, Anton is not a mexican name, and when does he ever speak spanish in this film...they left his nationality obscure diliberately i believe. His name sounds more Eroupean then anything, Hungarian or Slavic maybe even.
@@KianooshKasra-g6oif you didn’t know, Anton speaks Spanish in the novel but it’s only one line similar to “He repeated it in Spanish.” which doesn’t give us any information regarding his ethnicity or native language. He could have just learned while working with many Mexicans, he seems like he would learn Spanish so he could be more effective at his job.
