He literally had the advantage when he took cover behind the car. Why didnt he lie down and shoot Chigurh's foot as he was walking in the open? The guy doesnt know exactly where you are!
I think it served two purposes, let me explain: first is that incapacitating the driver puts moss in a bad spot because he can either try driving from the passengers side, making him a sitting duck, or get out of the vehicle, giving Anton time to close the distance and secure his mark. Secondly, hitting moss first would have gotten the driver to react and probably haul ass; should he have been fortunate enough to escape, Anton would have had a body and at least a single witness to worry about. Edit: As @FabledGentleman said, the money could disappear with the driver too, which is Chigurh's goal at the end of the day.
He is not after Moss, he is after the money. The money is in the car, so he has to kill the driver so the money isn't disappearing for good. The Bonus is that once the driver is dead at the wheel, it's very difficult to oust the driver and take over the vehicle while Anton is approaching.

Avengers should have invited Anton.
2:43 does anton secretly have a marksman rifle or does he have slugs in his shotgun
what is the range of that shotgun?
The true meaning of 1 v 1 me bro!😮
2:47 - why the driver ?
He just needed to shoot Josh Brolin's character
The Bonus is that once the driver is dead at the wheel, it's very difficult to oust the driver and take over the vehicle while Anton is approaching.
he assumed he was driving. Because Anton would have killed the driver and driven if he was llewelyn.
To stop the car driving away, no matter who is driving. Also, Anton could probably not tell who was driving at that range in the dim light.
Why didn't he just throw the tracker out..?
That's the one thing about this movie I didn't get.
And if he didn't know that it was in there, common sense would say to change the bags anyway.
This fight goes on any longer and Moss would’ve won
No, he wouldn’t
Qual nome do filme ?
Wow what a cool and interesting mid plot conflict. Sure hope there’s a satisfying ending to this story and not some pretentious bs.
agreed, i felt the same about Nolans Inception and Interstellar, yet millions younger than me ejaculate to both of them.

Film name?
such a great movie, but one thing i never get in this - he keeps on avoiding him, yet even when he hitches rides the guy knows where he is.. CHANGE OUT HE BAG ITS GOT A TRACKER ffs!
trackers were aliens in 70s, hed never seen one. No one had. He was just a ex con hunter.
It’s allegory. Cormac tends to rely heavily on allegorical writing, lots of Blood Meridian is like that, almost Biblical in its essence.
Name?
What rules Anton used ?
anyone else expecting Arnie to emerge blasting away at Chigurh, only for Chigurh to morph into John Conner before reverse morphing and returning fire?
No
Why the hell would you sit RIGHT in front of the door?
The worst possible position to be in during CQB
So what actually wounded Llewellyn?
The shot from the window.
Lose the loud shoes.
Guess Anton preferred slugs
Who stole the $?
Ridiculous
Arch angels are not mysterious nor ruthless
This is why you should not touch what doesn't belong to you for every like i get I will do 1 pushup

yes cartel tracked his mother and killed him in the hotels anton got away in the end
Really wish it had some music
It would ruin it all
@@Jajusz you just ruined it
And people sleep around…. Ssssssss
It's 1980 West Texas, remember no 911 system existed until the mid to late 80s, the sheriff probably had 1 or 2 officers on duty and probably far away. Not a bustling city yet so nightlife was quiet unless you went to Austin.

grossly exaggerated
Just choose some street and go away into a dark. Actions of this man are plottwistingly stupid
Anton will just keep after him; better to just try end it now especially when he had the advantage.
yeah,,, but he was a viet vet. not in his thinking to run. He fights, and soon enough is following Antons blood trail.
No cops in this movie?....
Anton vs Michael Myers
Now also throw in the Joker.
Now also throw in the Joker.
