@@oelefant539 Yes Samsung's software also has a history of not holding up well, but so has the Pixel line. Considering Google develops Android, you would expect the best software experience. Even in this review, he says repeatedly that the PIxel 3 continues to have serious RAM management issues, and he tried the same test on the 3 and all apps restarted.
The comparison is nice but a bit meaningless... as I had both pixels and iphones, I can tell you that the 0.1 second faster open on apps or the faster boot doesn't really matter. What really matters is the price(Pixels are cheaper), the screen (Pixel has overall a better screen) life expectancy(the iphone will overall last you longer), performance over time (after a year of use iPhone would most likely crush pixel), the camera (similar in photo quality but you will love the ultrawide camera on the iphone), the ease of use (I think overall iOS is more intuitive than Android)... Great comparison!. I enjoy so much this kind of battles!. Was afraid about Pixel's battery life but now I now it won't be so horrible. Thanks!. ....Should we say stock android is faster than iOS?🤨
There's alot to be said about real world use. The pixel is extremely fast with only 6gigs of ram? It even keeps up with the speed demons one plus. The 🍎 is also very fast with the A13 chip. What I really like with the iPhone is vastly improved 📷's & improved 🔋 power. I prefer Android over IOS but you can't go wrong with either or? Very good review!
Like desktops phones are set to perform at a certain speed during regular is use.. it's only when GPU and CPU intensive programs are in use when the true colors come out. iPhone probably has more smoothing effects for transitions etc on reg app opening, so it seems slower.
The iPhone this year doesn't let the apps auto restart after the boot up. It's a software thing, other than that the iPhone wins. Check any other speed test, the real results will come out when PhoneBuff does his speed test because it's with robots.
The super-discounted Pixel 4 and $350 4a (128GB) are about to be the best value in phones for rest of 2020. XL as well if it gets discounted as much as reg Pixel 4 but I'm not sure that happens since the battery isn't an issue with it. When the new phones come out this fall, you might be able to get a $300 or less Pixel 4a 128GB and I dunno, maybe $500 or less for a Pixel 4 128GB at Christmastime. For that processor and that camera that's insane. And the best Android to boot. So glad everyone hated the Pixel 4.
I guess most people want iPhone not for just as a smartphone (of which they are of coarse best or one of the best) but because they don’t want to leave their mac, Apple Watch, AirPods on their own. iPhones are like heart of all these accessories, and they also happen to be one of the best. iPhone users just want some simple UI which won’t change with introduction of new features, get updates until the power of the hardware is itself awful, take great photos and videos, have great speakers and good screen (XR and 11 doesn’t stand in front of Oled but it’s still great if you are an old iPhone user), and most importantly sync with other apple devices with like a breeze. This last thing is the most important factor as for why Apple users would never leave iOS.
Pixels are better in speaker, boot up and apps, IPhone are better in games, battery life, muktitasking and geekbench, the rest is the same, but for people pixel killed iPhone just because of 300$ price difference. Sell your pixel one year later you lost 300$,sell your IPhone one year later you lost 150$, here is the difference.
Pixel's battery is better because it's covered by warranty even for normal wear for 2 years!! but the iPhone does not cover the normal wear of battery under warranty, and the Pixel comes with fast charger out of the box👍
Android ram management close apps after some minutes to maintain battery life save and your took a little time to open it again. I saw another video about pixel 4 and it didn't reload any apps.
I disagree, my Androids with 8/12GB of RAM don't refresh any of these apps (check my tests with Asus/Galaxy/OP7P). whichever test you saw had to have had fewer/smaller apps opened than mine. that said, I have loaded a bunch of apps and most won't have so many opened at the same time. the multitasking on the phone isn't the best, but it's good enough and miles ahead of previous years.
The snapdragon processors are normally on top of the apple processors in graphics test. All we need is the phone companies to get the games more optimized for the specific device, But running test on both a oneplus 7 pro and a iphone 11 pro the oneplus 7 pro comes out on top due to that chip
@@agmg3059 If you go on notebook check and put in both cpus into the compare you will see the graphs of the gpu performance is typically better for the snapdragon processors. And before you know it qualcomm will release another processor that will knock apple out of the water.
They won't optimize games on android becouse there are too many configurations and it would cost too much. On the other hand only few devices are running ios so they can optimize apps much more. It's like PCs and consoles.
90hz & Google's software wins the day. All I hear the speed of the A13 bionic chip? That's bush-wa! Real life usage the pixel wins, a real speed champion?
Opening apps are the same in terms of speed. You cannot compare 2 different OSes in internet based apps because basically almost every time it is a different feed. Also iPhones offer things that are missing in android apps. Like in some games more graphics or even higher FPS. The only thing that matters is performance because opening apps is not performance. The iPhone is killing the game in terms of performance
Does the opening of apps matter more than running the apps itself flawlessly? I think you need to rethink that since the different of opening apps between these two are buttery miliseconds to a second. How about running games smoothly, better fps and way more stable, less frame drops? Would you rather prefer to open an app a sec faster than running the apps a mile smoother and way more fps juice displayed? No? The iPhone itself is way more capable to open apps fastly but they choose to stick to their animation time (that results in overall smoothness when we navigate the phone), that's just iOS thing. I'm an Android user, my phone is Xiaomi Mi 9, but for gaming iPhone 11 (since iPhone 8+) lineups destroy Android flagships on the same generation even the gaming enthusiast class like ROG Phone II.
@@ken3243 Nope that is not the case because it uses sd835 in games like fortnite or pubg or cod or any other high intensive games do not support the highest graphics in the latest games. Also in many games that supports 60fps on iOS and in android do not support it

I have both the Pixel 4 XL and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The only reason the iPhone is my daily driver is iMessage and FaceTime. If it weren’t for those things I’d run the Pixel hands down.
Great comparison!. I enjoy so much this kind of battles!.
Was afraid about Pixel's battery life but now I now it won't be so horrible.
Thanks!.
....Should we say stock android is faster than iOS?🤨
Sure
Pixel 4XL And iPhone 11 Pro Max Ma Be Are Same! Ok But Pixel Looks is Better!
Great job, the best review I had seen. Thank you
Like desktops phones are set to perform at a certain speed during regular is use.. it's only when GPU and CPU intensive programs are in use when the true colors come out. iPhone probably has more smoothing effects for transitions etc on reg app opening, so it seems slower.
On batter part, wasn't pixel running on 90hz?
youtubers need to stop opening apps as speed test LOL, you guys are testing the modem and different optimization of apps to the software.
They wont because these types of videos get lots of views.
My pixel 4xl is arriving tomorrow can't wait
Pixel 4 xl is better and cheaper
It might not have the ultra wide but it's great at taking photos
I would buy the Google pixel 4
Same
i'm too )
@ARGON GAMING buy it online im in ksa it doesn't even exist here. i pre ordered mine though.
Heads up guys some of these test require WiFi
So it can also depend on WiFi
I love the colour combition of the iphone and pixel. ORANG AND GREEN LOOKS GREAT😇😇😇
what amazon app do you have ?
amazon shopping
Even the bootup time on my 3a XL & S10+, the pixal wins all day long. The 4xl, even faster than the speed demon, one plus?
It might just because the default for iPhones is mono audio in setting which means it play the same sound through both speakers
Pixel was winning through out the video but iPhone won the geek bench
When he said temp run,
I felt that
lol
both are pushing each other and its getting better
Of course Pixel beats iPhone after everyone shit on it. Love the karma.
The iPhone this year doesn't let the apps auto restart after the boot up. It's a software thing, other than that the iPhone wins. Check any other speed test, the real results will come out when PhoneBuff does his speed test because it's with robots.
Beats the I Phone sorry but are you blind coz to me pixel seems to have restarted many apps.
@@itsmrdante6274 lol
And then every other review the iPhone shits on the pixel🤔
The super-discounted Pixel 4 and $350 4a (128GB) are about to be the best value in phones for rest of 2020. XL as well if it gets discounted as much as reg Pixel 4 but I'm not sure that happens since the battery isn't an issue with it. When the new phones come out this fall, you might be able to get a $300 or less Pixel 4a 128GB and I dunno, maybe $500 or less for a Pixel 4 128GB at Christmastime. For that processor and that camera that's insane. And the best Android to boot. So glad everyone hated the Pixel 4.
My Pixel 4xl starting to glitch...I think it's do for a factory reset.
Sucks, but yeah try doing that.
Pixel has the better sound
7:26 with the 2 phones combined it sounds weird XD
Animation is so similar this time
Does the pixel have ufs 3?
What is it qi?
wireless charging
Phone Battles thanks
Android ram management close apps after some minutes to maintain battery life save and your took a little time to open it again. I saw another video about pixel 4 and it didn't reload any apps.
I disagree, my Androids with 8/12GB of RAM don't refresh any of these apps (check my tests with Asus/Galaxy/OP7P). whichever test you saw had to have had fewer/smaller apps opened than mine. that said, I have loaded a bunch of apps and most won't have so many opened at the same time. the multitasking on the phone isn't the best, but it's good enough and miles ahead of previous years.
Astoria,NY? ^_^
yep!
They look pretty similar
The pixel looks like the early iPhone 11 beta renders
You mean the iPhone11 looks like the iPhone x renders... LoL 😂
俺機種変更考えてるんだけどどっち買った方がいい?日本人教えて〜
Googleの方が断然いい
갓치만 そうなんですね〜、ありがとうございます😊
The snapdragon processors are normally on top of the apple processors in graphics test. All we need is the phone companies to get the games more optimized for the specific device, But running test on both a oneplus 7 pro and a iphone 11 pro the oneplus 7 pro comes out on top due to that chip
Wrong Apple Gpus are now better :)
Thanks for mentioning the siren!
Finally a far side by side comparison I went with the pixel 4 got in for 500 vs 1000 for the iPhone
great choice, using the phone now
Hey phone battles, do you like the google pixel 4XL?
How do these phones run Pokémon go?
Hey, I think A13 vs SD865 is righter than A13 vd SD855
PIXEL LEGEND👌
iPhone and pixel are great phones
Please use sound meter for your speaker test.
Pixel 4 all day 😉
90hz & Google's software wins the day. All I hear the speed of the A13 bionic chip? That's bush-wa! Real life usage the pixel wins, a real speed champion?
Did he show the battery?
I feel bad the Android phones are destroying iPhone when it comes to opening apps
@@davout5775 can you tell me which game iPhone has higher fps because last time I checked my Google pixel 2 XL offers the latest graphics and fps.
@@ken3243 Nope that is not the case because it uses sd835 in games like fortnite or pubg or cod or any other high intensive games do not support the highest graphics in the latest games. Also in many games that supports 60fps on iOS and in android do not support it
@@davout5775 dude I only have 30 fps on fn but every other is like 120
I WOULD CHOOSE THE GOOGLE PIXEL 4 XL😎😃📱
Hey, my fathers 11pro max never sounded like that, i think u put it on mono audio
Pixel 4 vs note 10?
my next test
Awesome
No phone can beat the note feature wise. It's the all around phone
@@devinotruth if it had the headphone jack, it wouldve been the best flagship phone
@@recruit7416 dude get over it. All good phone are doing away with it. I haven't used wired headphones in a year or two now. Bluetooth, try it
*Pls compare with 1+ 7t and mate 30 , galaxy note 10*
Can you do lg g8 vs pixel 4?
Two best smartphones
I have both the pixel I was like wtf by the sound blow me away n that bass
so basically pixel won except that wide angle and 4k60fps. but its better to use Moment lens for pixel. so yeah pixel is the champ.👍
Faisal Khan nah pixel is nowhere near the champ but good phone, it’s has way worse battery chip speed, camera and others small things too like Dolby speakers that pixel doesn’t have
I got Google pixel 2 XL
I got the 3
How is it
Same with me, I used pixel 2XL until now. I use to take photo, video editing and play pubgm.
