      Thanks Paul it's nice to know I'm not the only one disappointed that this 'Seasiders Together' looks like a load of old cobblers and is of basically zero interest to many. I don't see how it helps anything and I just wish they'd put all that energy into getting the football right and putting a stop to making the match day experience as uncomfortable as it has become because the way it's going regular fans/normal people like you and me (i.e. the vast majority of fans who don't bring weapons into the ground and wouldn't dream of throwing a bottle or a coin onto the pitch). will start to walk away again and that is what we don't want to happen

    Thank you for being a voice in the wilderness. It is very depressing at the moment. I cannot bear these tactics from Critchley and would like him out now. Why on earth are we wasting our time in league 1 with 3 centre backs? Waste of a spot. Was at Stevenage and I will not go away again this season. It was horrific

      Yes going away is quite often tough but man this year it's horrific in the main I don't blame you for not wanting to go

    Remember your concerns about Critch when he was appointed about passing sideways and backwards and then sideways again

      Yep and I don't understand why we don't see that we are so good when we take the game to the opposition. There have been times when it is so good it is some of the best football I've seen in years. How can we play like we did at Portsmouth and Forest and play like we did on Tuesday?

    Hi Lee, I agree with your comments regarding searches . I am almost 60 and resent having some broken English speaking Asian searching me in front of my 16 year old son. I would not expect or accept this if say I was going to the cinema but BFC insist that unless I reluctantly agree to this "search" then I wont be admitted. Quite frankly its a fucking insult. I work in the NHS professionally and resent this each and every time I attend. ( PS Besties wife works with me) but I am anonymous on here. Also> i drove to Stevenage on the Friday and the hotel we were booked into was also hosting Critchley and the players. Lots of players in their own cliques, and in the morning they were coming down at separate times for breakfast and barely acknowledging each other. We spoke to Neil about the pending game and he wasn't confident of a win !! long drive down and back and add the cost of the hotel, the total cost to watch the shitshow on offer was around £300. Not something I am eager to repeat given the sorry state of affairs on the road.. I also agree that O'Donnell commands his area much better and its no coincidence that we are unbeaten in the cup and also in the 1 away league match ( Bristol) that he was between the sticks.
    Drop me an email and I will fund your next away game. ( fleetwoodpcc@btinternet.com)

      Hi👋
      Yes I know so many people really don't enjoy it (except Jane who 'loves a good frisk' 🤣😂 I kind of expect it away as we are just seen as 1 of 'the rabble' but South Stand and Westies? Seriously?
      That's a very kind offer if we don't make Wembley I think the only 1 we may do is Wigan but I'm not 100% sure at the moment, it's a bit like self torture 🙁

    Great vlog Lee, spot on and superbly said. There spirit is missing big time, Critch can't motivate the team anymore which is so sad for us all. Apter should be in squad but sadly not. Better days around the corner surely.......UTP 🟠🟠🟠🟠⚽️

      @LeeCharlesTV  7 місяців тому +1

      Hi Rhydian, thanks for the reply, the weird thing is Critch can motivate the team at times, at home we have played quite well and sometimes unbelievably well but then we follow up great performances that make you think 'yes, finally we have cracked it' only to then go and play like we did on Tuesday, we truly are 'consistently inconsistent' I truly hope that better days are and tbh I haven't totally given up on this one just yet but, it is going to have to take one heck of a run

    You made a lot of interesting points for sure Lee. It just feels to me like the club is heading in the wrong direction right now, both on and off the field. Blackpool seem to care more about being a business and are ignoring the on field product. I hope this mindset changes soon because it’s so frustrating to be a fan right now. I think the playoffs are out of reach after a miserable run of away results. I also fear Pool will be looking for a new manager at the end of the season.

    • @LeeCharlesTV

      Yep primary focus for me has to be the football first and foremost get that right and everything seems sunnier. Winning breeds a winning mentality that can run through the club and it's fanbase it is the most crucial thing.

    It’s a mental issue …..home form and against Notts Forest the players were “UP” for it …..but away from home they are far more reserved and defensive minded………Critchley doesn’t seem to be able to Gee em up and stimulate them …..

    Brilliant video lee, hopefully the one of the fat cats in the club see this because this is what every fan is thinking at the moment, am a Scottish seasider been to a lot of home games this season but on and off the pitch has been shocking and definitely needs addressed sooner rather than later. When I went back to Bloomfield road v Southend all those years ago when we got the vermin out I didn't think we would be back to fighting amongst ourselves again so soon.🤞🤞🤞 I pray the things we were promised will come about soon or it will turn sour again. UTMP....also will add saddler is nothing compared to that oyston scum, remember where we were all those years ago marching down the promenade while a game was on very dark days, let's not forget how far we have come.

    • @LeeCharlesTV
      @LeeCharlesTV  7 місяців тому

      I think the main problem with dividing the fans and having all this infighting is because we keep making the same managerial appointments that divide the fans from the get go.
      We appoint Michael Appleton he left us before, it's bleeding obvious it would be awkward, many people would be like 'Appleton? are you freekin kidding me!!!' and so it turned out. He was on a hiding to nothing from the moment he came in and wasn't given any leeway, the preseason was awful and despite winning the opener it all went downhill fast and we were divided
      So learning a life lesson from that would you then re-employ the manager that walked away from the club which lead to all the problems which ultimately relegated us, knowing it would divide the fans again and give him a 4 year contract?
      I certainly wouldn't have and I'm not sure many people would have.
      I understand why he did because he likes him and he would be thinking he knows the players, the players want him back it will all be like he never left, it's not much of a gamble etc.
      But, sure as eggs are eggs we are divided and arguing between ourselves (again)

    everything you said was in evident yesterday at derby ,good football at times but no real threat .when it really boils down to it ,its all about money and getting a manager with great contacts who know the league who can get real value for the money. the training ground and your youth team are so important. derby spent 3 million on the academy last year and thats the way forward hence we get players like cashin and thompson worth more than what it cost to produce the talent any way good luck for the rest of the season.

    I agree, it doesn't matter about Race, Sexual identity, gender or age because we should be all Blackpool fans first over and above other allegiances.
    So why is the club trying spilt us into artificial groups?
    Blackpool has been 'Gay friendly' for decades yet I've never heard of a Blackpool LGBTQ+fans group or a Race/ethnicity based Blackpool fans group.
    Do they even exist or has the club formed them?
    Why is the club using those particular examples as representative examples of our Fans Groups?
    Raggy's right, we shouldn't compare Saddler to the Oyston's as both owners are completely different and I'm sure Saddler's intentions are well-meaning, unlike the previous regime.
    However if his management team act in a divisive manner towards the fans and/or fans groups which is splitting opinion and is reminiscent of darker times when the fanbase was split, then we need to be allowed to voice our opinions.
    PS If the club is determined to step into this minefield, working closely with highly politicised groups like Stonewall, then I hope they are going to be fair and balanced and consult with other Groups like the LGB Alliance and the plethora of women/feminist Groups which oppose some aspects of Stonewall's ideologies regarding Sport and fairness.

      Quite right the whole thing feels like a box ticking exercise and even if it's the best thing since sliced bread it doesn't help the one thing THE ONLY thing that matters...THE FOOTBALL which everything else depends on.
      Life is wonderful when you are winning and even better if the football is brilliant and exciting to watch so, if you get that then all the rest of it is trivial. But when the fan base is disconnected then the trivia seems worse than it is IMHO.
      In other words show us the ambition, show us the direction, do the things to make us believe that we are on the up and that you believe we can get back up quickly and that the PL is possible in 5 years like a certain smiling Latvian said

      Unfortunately I think this has the worrying potential to be more than just a ticking box exercise.
      In the minutes it says that these politicised representatives don't even have to be Pool Fans.
      Look at what happened to NUFC fan Linzi Smith, a lesbian who tweeted views which opposed Stonewall's Transgender ideology. The posts weren't even related to NUFC but shes now barred from St James's Park till 2026!

      We've been promised one for over 30 years, the planning application was submitted in March 2023 and we are still waiting on the council's (plural Fylde and Blackpool) to agree. It 💯 needs starting and the stadium too. Both of these things SS knew he had to fix when he bought the club so for me he was well aware he had to build a new training ground, build a permanent East Stand and invest in players. Not one or the other. Much as we hate the training ground we managed to get up into the Premier League with it and they've spent around a Million apparently on improving it for now. As far as I know the public can't walk their dogs on the pitches

    Edit:
    I want Sadler to succeed but even with him being a fan the only thing he cares for is the money, we as fans wouldn’t care as long as the football was good, need to get your priorities straight

    • @LeeCharlesTV
      @LeeCharlesTV  7 місяців тому +1

      The one thing that doesn't make sense though if it's all about the money? Money in football depends on success, bigger crowds, more TV appearance money, more season tickets, more replica kits, more financial reward.
      No point in building a stand if thousands can't be bothered.
      Like I said the FOOTBALL is the most important part

      Yes that's a problem if you are feeling that way Nicholas. My question is why? is it the football? the match day experience? Do you feel valued? are you happy with the communication? Do you feel the club are doing a good or bad job?
      It's obvious to me and Ill be the first to admit that many things have been improved upon, the stadium outside and in, the club shop, the pitch, the advertising boards, the dugouts, Squires Gate even though it's not the best facility has been improved on a lot, we are not getting as many injuries, the Heineken Lounge, The Moretti Lounge, signage, rust and it is a lot more professionally run.
      So what is it that has stopped you looking forward to going?

      @@LeeCharlesTV Standing in the west stand 30 years ago is a lifetime away from what we have now and I appreciate that but, I feel we are not moving forward,selling our best players and relying on loan players feels like a blast from the past.The torturous football we ara playing compounds how I feel.

    • @LeeCharlesTV
      @LeeCharlesTV  7 місяців тому

      Thanks Nicholas I can't disagree with that and yeah it just confirms to me that we can put up with lots of things if the football is great. The FOOTBALL is the MAIN thing we care about.
      I think most of us would agree we want to develop players and sell them on for as big of profit as we can but when we do sell them that money has to be used to buy other players that have even more potential than the ones we have just sold that can be developed and sold for even more or to buy players that immediately improve the way we play. And 100% selling players for profit and patching the team up with loan players is not what we want to see...yes?

    No season ticket for me next year, not paying to watch this garbage. League 1 is a terrible league, there are about 4 or 5 clubs that are ok the rest are crap and were 9th. Getting beat away from home and drawing to many at home against really poor teams. Owners don't listen to fans otherwise Crichley wouldn't be here.Atmosphere is poor, away fans are poor and the football is poor with the odd good performance. Season is over the team is not good enough. Training ground what a laugh. The future is bleak, Sadler is a business man they don't want you to know about the money side of things. ALL VERY SAD.

    • @LeeCharlesTV
      @LeeCharlesTV  7 місяців тому

      I hear you Duncan and sadly I don't think you are the only one feeling that way. TBH I don't really want to know about all the money side of things but what I would like to hear is something that makes me think wow, gosh I wasn't expecting that! what brilliant news or hear the plan for the future and what we are putting in place to make that plan happen? It is that kind of engagement we need and we need things to get us enthused enough to shell out again for yet another season ticket and for me the most wonderful thing about the pre-season games in the summer is when you see players brought in that improve the way we play and are exciting enough to get me excited enough to dream. Josh Bowler was the last one that had us that excited when he played at Southport you just knew he was going to be special

    • @LeeCharlesTV
      @LeeCharlesTV  7 місяців тому

      Yes it seems to be the bleeding obvious to me. As football fans we pay our money and make as much noise as we can in the hope that those 2 things, the money that we put into the pot and the atmosphere we help to create combined with our love for this thing called Blackpool Football Club will help towards watching football that makes us feel good, that brings us happiness and joy, makes for wonderful memories as we are part of something that ultimately has success and wins things.
      That's it isn't it?
      1. A team that attacks and scores goals
      2. A team that defends and doesn't concede soft goals
      3. A team that plays a brand of football that excites us so the stadium is rocking
      Anything that helps achieve points 1,2 and 3 we are 100% behind👍🏻 anything that doesn't help points 1,2 and 3 are of little interest and have 0% influence on whether we come and watch the football or not ✅️
