@@siwolu Hi Simon, reverse thrust was never used in landing performance and rejected take off calculations and therefore was only ever planned to be used in an emergency. It stopped on a penny to be honest without it.
@@siwolu the way i understand it 'all be it limited. the props in beta act as a speed brake which is more than adequate, also, the Q400 makes so much power full reverse it can cause structural problems in the wings hence why full reverse is never used

One quick question: How come max reverse wasn't selected. Is it generally not required?
@@siwolu The crash 8 is sufficient enough to generally not need max reverse - usually on tiny runways. Braking is also the best way of slowing down
