Thanks! Yes, it's on purpose. It leaves the contestant on his or her toes, and was a huge hit with my ESL kiddos. They never knew what was coming. 😊😊

I use it for K-5 students to grow their FLEXIBLE THINKING- It's an Executive Function Skill

As Eric commented, this video helps students practise their thinking skills as well as serving as a brain break in my ESL classroom. :)

Also, we use it in teacher training, to show people the way the brain processes visual things including words. If you have confusing visual inputs for the students, students will have more difficulty.
