- Keanu Reeves chats with ET’s Nichelle Turner at the premiere of 'John Wick: Chapter 4' in Los Angeles, California. Keanu opens up about how they are celebrating the life of his 'special' friend and 'John Wick' franchise castmate, Lance Reddick, who died March 17. The actor also hints at a possible 'John Wick 5.' 'John Wick: Chapter 4' is in theaters March 24.

The beautiful thing of Lance Reddick is it didn't matter what he was acting in, whether this epic 4 film series or silly skits on Funny or Die, he gave 110%. He truly enjoyed acting period and never was above doing anything because he was never above having fun or giving others his best.

I've always liked Lance as an actor. His face. His demeanor. His voice. I remember initially seeing him in Fringe, then The Wire. He brought the story to life in the much acclaimed video game Zero Dawn. As an adult, I don't usually mourn the passing of actors, but this loss is one that will definitely be felt.

It's subtle, but Keanu saying "was/is" is such a nice comment. Most would just say "was". It goes to show that Keanu is paying his respects to whatever form/place/religion Lance believes in. It also shows the genuine care and thought hes putting into his response; correcting himself to make sure he honors Lance in every way possible.

i think it also helps that the person interviewing him was very obviously not trying to come off as rude by asking about it. she asked, got an answer and then instead of dwelling on the solemnity of the situation she immediately pivots to a happier topic. great interview on her behalf.

I know it's not super popular by todays standards, but I fell in love with Lance back when he did The Wire. My favorite show of all time. He was such a lovable person and you're right, very underrated. Hollywood lost a good one, but he will never be forgotten. We have to hold what he made close at hand.
He was pretty amazing in Fringe too. Loved him at that time already.

Keanu is the best type of human being. You can tell he deeply cares for his friend. I feel the pain in his heart. Lance was a great actor and I will miss him on the big screen. I'm glad he's immortalized forever alongside Mr. Wick. I loved him on Fringe and Resident Evil as well. May he rest in peace.
If we had a world full of people like him, it would be a wonderful world. I saw once a woman who ran into one of his bikes. People were trying to scare her telling her who the bike belongs to. When Keanu shows up he takes up for her and comforted her.

Just like for so many of us, our coworkers can become a second family. Besides being a huge talent, Mr. Reddick exuded a special intensity, a charming charisma. My heart goes out to his wife and children, but I have faith that he is now in Hollywood Heaven, performing with the other great thespians we've lost throughout the years. ❤

I loved Lance Reddick in the Fringe series. He is awesome in the John Wick films. In fact he is fantastic and really brought the characters he played to life. You can tell that Lance’s passing hit Keanu hard as it looked like it was tough to come up with the right words to honor his friend. ❤
Many people knew him from older shows, movies etc over time, but for me being young and 22, I first found him through destiny the video game back in 2014 on my old Xbox 360, Lance was a big fan of the game himself and played it lots, the countless years of enjoyment he gave me and many others through there and everywhere else was amazing, the night before his passing he was actually online playing it! Showing he truly cared and loved the game, rest in peace commander, we got from here ❤
