@@vincenzosplate - Without a doubt, the best pizza I ever made. My own homemade sauce, extra thick crust and crispy on the bottom. I cook pizza in a pan. About a tablespoon of olive oil keeps the dough from sticking and gives you a crispy bottom.
At first I thought we needed to put onions and garlic also in the sauce, but Lucio's recipe proved otherwise. It is very simple as well. Thanks Lucio and Vincenzo for clearing that up for me!

You could add garlic if you like, but not onions.

Hi Vincenzo I’m the 11 year old again. I’m going to make Alfredo sauce in a few days. Tell me if you like my recipe. Melt a stick of butter on the stove and cook fettuccine. Put fettuccine in the melted butter and mix and then put Parmesan cheese and pasta water and mix. And the put back on stove for a minute or two mixing

My friend Vincent came to America 50 years ago and opened a couple pizza shops right away.
His pizza sauce for his business came from an Italian vendor called Bova.
Because he made over 100 pizzas a day more on weekends, he had to go that route for the pizza sauce.
The thing is, he did something to it to make it his and it was awesome.
He doctored up commercial pizza sauce and got it right for the next 40 years.
Sadly he’s passed on and Vincent’s Pizza is no more, but we ate good for decades thanks to Vince.

you can keep it in the fridge for at least 3 days, or you can freeze it!
