Thank you so much ❤️ some studies quote 1 in 4 female physicians are diagnosed with infertility, and female surgeons lose babies during pregnancy at a higher rate than the general population. We need more awareness around this topic and hopefully change the conversation for the next generation of women in medicine!

Congrats!!!! I went through almost the same journey as you. We moved from CA to WA during my IVF treatment. We also bought a house before we moved except that we moved from an apartment. I also got my cycle canceled due too. Totally agree with you the ups and downs and all the confusion despite my science background. You are so brave to do the shots yourself.. so brave!!!

Hi Joyce, congratulations and thank you for sharing your story. I know exactly everything you were feeling. I have been documenting my IVF journey on UA-cam and while sharing brings in so much support and love from this amazing community of strong women, it can also be really difficult at times bc you do relive the trauma... but also release it, in a way. Anyway, I am still in it now after 7 egg retrievals and 3 transfers, but its really nice to hear & relate to your story. I also live in the bay area but came to Korea for IVF and have been here a while now, and hopefully i also have a happy ending. Sending you and your family lots of good energy.❤

I feel the same way that you described of feeling hopeful and not too hopeful so your heart doesn't break. I did 3 IUI's all without success. I had to take a break for about a year and a half because it took such an emotional toll. I am in my 2nd IVF cycle. I just had my embryo transferred 2 days ago and I will find out in 8 days if it worked this time! 🤞

Ur story is inspiring to me. Always have hope. So much positivity here. My FET is due from past 3 years. Its all about our financial condition. We are unable to visit hospital. Your story gives me so much hope. My 1st transfer failed. Planning our 2nd transfer next month. You said you continued with progesterone shot before switching to suppository until after few weeks of positive test. My dr has put me on vaginal & oral because she thinks it’s just as effective. Do you mind sharing if your dr suggested any difference between using the progesterone shot and vaginal and if that would make any difference? Thank you :)
Hello, I’m hoping for a positive outcome for you! My doctor said I could switch to suppository sooner, so I think it just depends on each patient’s history and hormones!

I used menopur and gonal F, estrace and clomid. I know every cycle is very different and every patient uses different medications. Please see my REI doctor’s UA-cam channel Dr. Lora Shahine, she provides so much great education!
You describe the journey very well. I just had my 8th Transfer. Will start with my 7th IVF if this fails. Will be my last one. I can’t do it anymore… egg donation or embryo adoption are the next steps

We did several ovulation shots, 3 IUI, 2 IVF with ICSI method (fresh and cryo)… supporting with TCM, herbs, tons of shots and medications… I got even overstimulation of my ovaries by the very first IVF cycle, so had to stay for 10 days in a hospital. 😢 I just hope to get our dream comes true soon ❤ We try to conceive our first baby ❤ I will have my next visit at the clinic to plan everything the coming week… it always feels so scary and strange… 😢

I have been gone through multiple fail IVFs. With all the hormonal meds, I grow more freckles on my face. Do you have any recommendations on how to lighten the freckles? Thank you.
Hello, sorry to hear about the multiple rounds of IVF. I know it is so tough. For freckles you can try products with retinoid or retinol, AHA or BHA at home; if you want faster results then a chemical peel or laser with a dermatologist. Also consistently wear spf 30+ as well.

Do you mind me asking how many eggs were frozen in each cycle?
We wanted to freeze embryos which have a higher chance of success and it made sense with our family planning goals. The first round was unsuccessful and the second round we ended up with a few precious embryos!

Never heard of it.. i had one iui and i wss given medications to get good eggs and then my husband gave his sample that day and the basic part of iui is that they inject the semen of ur husband direct into ur uterus...i dont get the point how will iui be done without it
