But also seriously, thank you for these newbie friendly builds. They've been great for newbies and friends with disabilities who can contribute more with harder content
Unironically my favorite ability in the game. The entire reason I started gw2 was because akimbo was an option. You don't get that in every mmo. Swtor has dual blasters for bounty hunters (which I've played), but I'm drawing blanks otherwise I played engineer first, but akimbo thief is more satisfying. Even if they rebalanced it so it had downtime or was more active instead of afk it would still be my favorite.
What are the benchmarks of the builds with optimised equipment (core and de respectively)? Also, what is the dps of power rifle mechanist and how does its apm compare to these thief builds?
I usually go off of Discretize's gear optimizer for calculating things! What I listed with Amulet + Backpiece + 2 Rings as Dragon's is the "min maxed" version for Core. I ran Deadeye through it just now, and this is what it spat out: i.imgur.com/JF7d9Pv.png (this is assuming that you keep Agility signet for the precision). Currently Snowcrows has PMech listed at about 38k DPS, but that's with melee sword + torch. I think old power mechanist sits around 34k DPS, so it's about 20% higher than this build. It's definitely higher APM (though still low intensity by most rotation standards). I'd estimate maybe about 1 button press per second or two, so about 40-60 actions per minute.
The new raid wing is releasing in convergence and normal mode first, so I imagine the DPS check will not be very high! So I say go for it if your team is also ok with it :D
I've been playing a looong time, so I mostly do things with guildmates now. If you'd like to hang out with us, we are an "all welcome" community vibe and I run things like: - weekly "yolo" raids/strikes/fractals content, aka no experience necessary if you want to join - weekly "raid training", where we pick a raid wing for the week and I do in-depth practice sessions for them - open world metas and HP trains, usually on friday evenings around reset+1! Things like Convergence CMs, Dragon's End, bounty trains, etc. - even progression groups for higher experience folks! Stuff like ToF and HT CM :D
@@tadmil2484 Oh, lol! My bad! (offer always stands of course) This is "Lion's Arch Aerodrome", which is directly south of Lion's Arch. It's the "raid lobby" because you can access all 7 wings from there. Next to the bank, there's a blue portal door that'll take you into the "Special Forces Training Arena", and a lot of people refer to it as the "Golem Room". It's the best place to practice rotations because you can apply boons to yourself, conditions to your target, and adjust the size and health of the golem you spawn!
dont put 13 condition when you bench a thief . 2% damage per unique condition . same with dead eye dont put 13 condi + 12 boon . normal bench for thief is 10 condi and for dead eye its 10 condi and 10 boon
@@mailissrift The bench standard is to use 10 of each boon and condi, but pressing "use all" is much faster and I was impatient to get started with editing because each 6 minute video takes 10+ hours of editing. It also happens that I talk about this for nearly 1 minute of a 6 minute video and I had another section talking about the range of DPS for 1 condi (significantly lower number of condis compared to 10) vs all condis.
Timestamps to nail in the point: 03:24 - 03:47 (talking about exposed weakness and how it works) and 05:04 - 05:21 (talking about the range of DPS with only vulnerability to all conditions).
rem got world's first unload thief in cerus cm, pls bow to the god

this is godsend as my hands are hurting from all the high APM builds I'm using LOL thank you emi!!
I recommend Reaper. Either shout chill condi or the meta power are great. Simple, and OP
@@MrQuay03 Aggreed but hard to master, not even 1% of the reaper i see go over 25k sadge

granted it was normal but SHH i mean who said that
Thats not HTCM lol

That is entirely too cool. This alone convinced me to give my thief another chance
Se ve increíblemente el daño, no pensé que habia una construcción así, gracias

HERE IT COMEEES PREPARE FOR THE NERFHAMMEEEER
I doubt it.
She did it again
Can I use this for new raid wing?

If you do les than 30k dps you should change the sigil of impact to the sigil of air. Is more dps for free
I'll need to try this out! I mostly just follow gear optimizer and run this build to make people say "wtf" when I join pug groups, hehe
Lovely low intensity builds, for whenever you still want to play the game while being a little burned out.
kp raiders hate her
In which part of the game are you? I wanne be there too

Just ahead of the time for anyone curious, you will most likely not see 28k-30k in fights because all conditions is highly unlikely
Yes, I spoke about this at length in the video :)
Why is every gw2 content creator making a video on this build 🤦🏻♂️
