The great thing about this is your audience is a lot of metal heads, and now we're subjected to the same experiment. I like it. Introduces me to some new music I wouldn't have considered. This song was fun.
I like how Richard cutoff Judson saying Great Measures like what Judson usually does lol. This was cool of you guys to switch it up and have Judson show you a song. Royal Blood is a great band I've seen them live once years ago when they opened for Foo Fighters at Fenway in Boston. They sure make alot of noise for only two people! \m/
Super fun hearing the kinds of stuff that the man who tinkles the ivories listens to! I liked watching Richard try to do Judson things, like trying to find the key of the song on piano and cutting off the introduction to say "great measures" lmao.
I really enjoyed the switch up with Richard reacting, and as a fellow metalhead I loved the song! I instantly added Honeybrains to my playlist and will be checking out more from Royal Blood. An unexpected but awesome pick by Judson! You guys just can’t miss! 🤘
Royal Blood do some catchy stuff. The rift to ‘Typhoon’ is great. Metalhead so don’t go out of my way to listen to them but I also don’t turn it off when I hear Royal Blood come on.
It makes sense that they've toured with Queens of the Stone Age. I get similar vibes. I would guess the original format of Judson listening to metal will get more views, as the reactor-viewing demo seems to like watching non-metalheads reacting to metal. But I do think this is a good idea, just as a change-up and to potentially expose your audience to some other good music out there and be more open to it.
No, it is interesting to see what kind of music Judson brings to the table. Plus I get to see if Richard''s review of the song aligns with mine (in this case it did).
Oh hell yeah, this'll be right up my alley. I have a thing for sending tracks to my classically trained friends and asking for recommendations back, usually wanting them to use themes or atmospheres of the song I sent for reference, and it's gotten me into a crapton of composers I would likely never have found by myself otherwise.
This was hella entertaining 😂 Love the cameo by the aforementioned melodica, and... I'll admit to also being in the minority that have never seen any of the Godfathers. This was a dope song, super groovy band!
Loving the old switcheroo. Saw them live shortly after they released their first album and was blown away by the sheer volume from just two guys. Not heard much of their stuff after that first album but it's still a regular on my summer playlist.
Royal 🤴 blood 🩸 is a brilliant band from Worthing in the U.K. which is close to Brighton were in from. They only have two members but make a huge sound live.
Dude, Judson! If you’re looking for sick bass/drums stuff, Richard should have you react to Mirror Reaper by Bell Witch. Also, MAD respect for being an LCD Soundsystem fan! You should have Richard react to them if he hasn’t heard them. 😃 You guys are awesome! Keep doing what you do. 🙂
Into the switchup. I"m more of a metal/punk guy so I'm not sure on the influences for this kinda stuff but I felt like I heard some old Radiohead and Muse. Maybe it's just the falsetto?
I heard Judson reference LCD Soundsystem in this one, he should definitely have Richard listen to them for the next time they do this switcharoo. Something from Sound of Silver or This is Happening.
I love these reaction videos. I’d love to see Judson react to the Silverchair song “Emotion Sickness” off their 1999 LP titled Neon Ballroom. I think he’d really dig it quite a bit.
On a note of two-man-bands you should listen to '68 (any song from In Humor and Sadness) - they are a drummer and a guitar player (so they use octaver to pitch things down)
Sound a little like the White Stripes Richard? I always thought so. I do like their tune Figure it Out. JayMan! Check out some Crystal Method for new drum/bass ideas..........\m/ btw, Im down with the new format. Nothing wrong with switching it up at all. Also gives J a chance to share his influences.
First time I heard Royal Blood was in 2014 on the movie soundtrack to “Who am I - No System Is Safe”, a german movie about hackers. One of the best if not the best german movie ever, highly recommend, certaily beats anything Hollywood is pumping out these days. Yes, we need more Judson selections
Yes, I thought it was a cool idea, more ways to discover new good music 👍
Keep up with the greatest measures
The great thing about this is your audience is a lot of metal heads, and now we're subjected to the same experiment. I like it. Introduces me to some new music I wouldn't have considered. This song was fun.
The correct answer here is: YES!
Cracking job Judson. Maybe some early Smashing Pumpkins next? 😉
when Richard pretended to find the note on the piano haha.
😂 If only I had that ability
Formerly Great Measures, now Measures Great 😋
"Do you know the band UFO?"
"Whatcha call me?"
This is GOLD. :D
Fuck yeah, man!
Judson vibing the song! He has that rockstar “swag”, that many “real rockstars” lack.
I like when he said "It's Judson Time" and started judsoning all over the place

Please do more of Judson showing you music. I love his taste
Thanks for the suggestion, great song. Love the swap. Keep it up. Maybe make a Judson Monday. Congrats.
love and leave it alone is another great song from them!
Like the switch and how Richard calls Judson a rookie..😂. Awesomeness again guys.
Super fun hearing the kinds of stuff that the man who tinkles the ivories listens to!

This was a great song and video! Loved the changeup

ah, how the turntables have turned.
To correct you it's: how the turn have tables.
You're welcome!
The drumming of this guy is so much fun. This is how to use drums as an instrument.
They had an insane influence on many young drummers.
I'm very surprised royal blood wasn't known to him before this

I love this format, I think you should incorporate it !

We Godfather-less folks have to stick together. 🤘
@@Greatmeasures Right! We can’t all be perfect🤷🏻
Glad I tuned in today! This song is seriously good. Love the abrupt ending. Nice switcharoo!
Do listen to all of royal blood you’d be amazed!
Ohh how the tables have turned
Good pick on Judson's part. Gave Richard something he'd be most likely be open to. Bit of a Muse flavour there, actually.
Love the switcherooooo.......Best Reaction channel on YT...well done lads.
Love this flipping of the script
Ohhhh how the turns have tabled 😂
Do more of these! I love that you switch it up so we can get good song suggestion that isn't purely metal! :)
it's judsin' time
Oh wow this is brilliant! Way to go...
Loving the old switcheroo. Saw them live shortly after they released their first album and was blown away by the sheer volume from just two guys. Not heard much of their stuff after that first album but it's still a regular on my summer playlist.
Hahaha, love the switcheroo!
Was waiting for this to happen
I really like this new way let's listen to some new measures from all of us
Loved this.
Very cool song!!!
This was fun 😄
I love this so much.
Their cover of Happy is amazing
didnt think id actually like it, good stuff judson
Royal 🤴 blood 🩸 is a brilliant band from Worthing in the U.K. which is close to Brighton were in from. They only have two members but make a huge sound live.
Such a good song

Perfection ❤
Love Royal Blood, they totally rock
First 2 albums were pretty awesome
Into the switchup. I"m more of a metal/punk guy so I'm not sure on the influences for this kinda stuff but I felt like I heard some old Radiohead and Muse. Maybe it's just the falsetto?
Since Judson likes The Godfather, it would be cool to show him The Godfather by Fantomas.
The whole Directors Cut album is fantastic.
Nice switch up.

I love these reaction videos. I’d love to see Judson react to the Silverchair song “Emotion Sickness” off their 1999 LP titled Neon Ballroom. I think he’d really dig it quite a bit.
Yes! Emotion Sickness! This one would vastly appeal to Judson.
For more drum n bass, check out OM, State of non return, BBC session.
Promoting awareness and appreciation of Om is a win for all.
Richard, I’d love to have Judson react to Kamelot : Memento Mori . Lots of classical influences in that one . 🤘🤩🤘
Seems only fair that Judson gets to share his music as well
It could be worse. This song is too sweet for us, metalheads.
Keeping with the drum + bass only, I would love to see Judson's take on Om, especially their earlier, more minimalist albums
Please check out - Death From Above 1979 - for your drums and bass only journey!
surprised
Is good
when you started clicking the piano keys I howled
That band sounds a bit like Death From Above. They are also drums and bass only!
On a note of two-man-bands you should listen to '68 (any song from In Humor and Sadness) - they are a drummer and a guitar player (so they use octaver to pitch things down)
¡GRATE MEHZYRS
For extraordinary bass and drums stuff, try Lightning Bolt and Death From Above 1979.
Royal Blood is Lightning Bolt with zero sugar and less calories
If you like Drums and Bass check out the band Helmet (Milquetoast).
Do Out of the Black!!! Best song of theirs
Judson might like Big Business if he likes bass and drum stuff like this. Focus Pocus is a decent tune by them. Basically Mastodon.
more of judson choosing stuff for richard.
I'm sure I'm not the first to ask, but is Judson 25 or 75?
I'm surprised Judson doesn't like metal more, this song was pretty heavy.
UFO Rock Bottom would be aaahmazing....just saying 😁
Does Judson listen to Bill Laurance? I think he gonna like the song Zeal and Balm
do out of the black by royal blood live version
First time I heard Royal Blood was in 2014 on the movie soundtrack to “Who am I - No System Is Safe”, a german movie about hackers. One of the best if not the best german movie ever, highly recommend, certaily beats anything Hollywood is pumping out these days.

Richard you have to watch the godfather come on man ha
😂 Maybe one day
OK, now it's time for a Phish suggestion.. please choose wisely :) maybe a live video
*edit -- btw yes, do more of these
I was looking at doing a short and sweet but rockin Disease from the ‘95. Theres a good Live Phish video, i think its hershey maybe?
yup, hershey. good choice.hopefully this will be a gateway lol. false hope perhaps? @@judsong
