Picked one up for when I participate in some events. Works well. The only real downside to the camera is the wide angle view. It IS wide angle and when you are filming something down range you really notice it. Extra batteries and an external charger are not that expensive on Amazon. Also, it does not come with a SD-Card. Other than the field of view, you really can't go wrong with this one. And if you end up breaking or losing it, you're not going to cry too hard.
Definitely a bonus of buying budget action cams. I have a bunch and if I were to lose of break one it wouldnt be that bad.

Stabilization is not available.
Is that an LED indicator on the front of the camera? If it has one I'm sold. I'm surprised how few action cams have an LED indicator on the front, which is critical when it's mounted on a helmet... easy check to see if it's recording by looking in any mirror :)

i only have a mac computer and it definitely cant be used as a webcam with that system. Don't know about windows.

Would you still recommend this camera? And does it come with a dashboard mount for your car?
I like the X30 better because of its EIS, but still love the colors that it produces. And i dont believe it comes with a dash mount.

the audio is not bad, without a microphone but the shaking is hurrible lol, no stabilization what so ever, so definitely not and action cam, good as a stationary cam, photos and images are ok, mind you everyone, today in 2003 this same camera is now under $60 bucks anywhere online and not 100+ dollars anymore, that was about 3 years ago.
how do you charge the battery???
Put the battery in the camera and plug the the camera in with the usb cord there will be a red light on the camera while it's charging.

Hey, m8 I don't know if you're going to respond or not but I'll ask in case anyone else has an answer. So I'm in the market for an action camera for snowboarding and random videos while on vacation and I'm deciding between the Campark X25 and the Akaso EK7000. Which one would you recommend, cheers!
between those 2 I actually like the color of the Campark better. But both have about equal quality. If you can spend more go to the Akaso V50 Pro.

Definitely no external mic. Not sure about external battery.
I just bought this after watching your video, but my video quality seems to be different on the various resolutions. Did you change the exposure, ISO, or any other values before recording these?
Nope. All settings were straight out of camera. Always test with default settings.
@@gregtoope Strange, I tested it out in my bedroom and it was super grainy and noisy. I'll test it out tomorrow in some better light conditions, thanks!
Yeah my recordings were in good light. My guess is the quality will improve once you are outdoors.
