lol Yeah mate, the knife bug got into Chris's room while he was sleeping & well & truly sunk it's fangs in LOL I'd love a Remet peregrine falcon (fastest bird on planet earth FYI lol) tasty fish!!!
@Philippians--vz1mi yeah I like the Peregrine Falcon, but it's not a priority on my to buy list. There's plenty others I desire much more. #1 is the One Track Mind Ire. Another one is the Exceed Designs Avair and then there's 3 more I really want. But that's out of my budget atm.
@TheUnprofessionalDad damn. I think it's get like 5 a month, sometimes a little more, but also depends on the price. Atm i can mostly only buy budget knives or premium if I find a really good deal. Like I just got the Kansept Goblin XL for 50% off, the MKM Goccia plain Ti for $125, the Sitivien ST995, Kizer Hawk DLC and the Tenible Fenrir WMK exclusive in white/blue and then the Vosteed Raccoon Bowie, Vosteed Porcupine, Petrified Fish Tena and the Bestech Tardis Knife Center exclusive in Magnacut. This month I went a little overboard. But I usually stick to about 5 knives per month. This month it was 9.😅
@TheUnprofessionalDad oh I'm also getting a Kansept Prototype sent to me to check out and give my honest opinion about it. It's a little weird looking one. Should be here tomorrow. So we'll see what that is.
OWWWWW YEAH Crew Carta... I gotta get me one of them!!👍 Right now, my sightes are on the Spydie Slym M390.I like your collection. Now thx to MJ you own a collector!😂
Hey Chris, it seems that spyderco steel is equivalent to CTS BDN1 or so Google A.I. says. A Japanese steel, so that makes sense. Nice haul for January! I really like the Kunwu and the TOPS alot. That kizer coniferous is sweet. I'm saving and I want the microtech socom bravo mini I think. Hope I can snag one before they are gone. Dang things are discontinued. I really like how they look. Hey that's cool that you are putting our names in the hat more for February. I just wanted to support my favorite knife channel, and the King Of The North(in the south) lol.
Thank you, friend!!! As king, I try to tell my peasants with dignity and recognize their contributions. Haha. Kidding.I'm just trying to be fair, honestly.l id.like to find out who donated the membership!?
Nobody donated it. I got it. Well i guess you could say my wife donated it. Lol. Shes the bread winner around here. Although, i usually feel like i do more work.😅
Oh, ok!!! That's so awesome! Man, I really like her! She is good people! You are lucky, Zach! We'll, you both are. I know how hard it is to be a stay at home Dad and how much work it is. It sounds like you two really compliment each other well. Maybe one day down the line, when there are enough that are interested, to do a weekend meet and greet or something. That would be awesome! I'd love to meet and know you both!
Just January and you 49 minutes worth to video. I guess we won't be seeing a full collection video at the end of 2025 🤣. It would be 8 hours! I have the solution for not wanting to whip out the big knife in front of gradma. I normally carry 3 knives, at a minimum, per day. A big primary front pocket), a smaller secondary (back pocket), and a slip joint (pocket dropper). That way, I have different knives and sizes for any situation.
That's actually a good idea and problem solving at its best! Lol. I usually carry a fixed and a folder. Or a large folder and multi tool. I really like your idea, though.
I feel like you need to measure your hands now, since the topic of a knife not fitting you comes up all the time. Ok so im half joking, but I am kinda curious because its really hard to get a grasp of the size of objects on camera like this. When I bought my Delica 4 for instance, it was on the recommendation of a female youtuber whom I knew had smaller hands than me, but taking that knife out of the package and just seeing a little bit of blade sticking out from my fist was surreal. So now, whenever I shop for a new knife, I sit with a tape measure and read off the data sheet before ordering haha
Lol. I get that. I guess I bring it up constantly for that very reason. Every knife is a different knife. Every knife fits differently than the last. So I bring it up because thats one of the important factors that go into carrying a knife. I have 2x hands, or at least i wear 2 x gloves. They were bigger, but i lost a bunch of weight, so now they are in 2x gloves. The fit in hand is very important. I may be way off and it's not, but i try to think about what I would want to know. One of those things is how it would fit and feel in a large size hand. Ill say this, I can palm a basketball with ease. My fingers are pretty long, and I played for years growing up. That helped me a lot, how I could hold and manipulate a ball. DCA on knifecenter has large hands, but Moreno because of thick fingers. I had thick fingers also, but also 2x in length. I definitely can see how that would be hard to judge on camera though. That's one of those learning curves I'm on. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Ill try to get a sewing kids tape to measure my hands and list it on a video. That would probably be a far better representation than just saying "large hands." Lol. Thank you!
@@TheUnprofessionalDad If you are interested, check out how to measure hands for glove fitment, its a standardized thing as far as I know. I had to do that for buying a custom mouse once, and its measure from the tip of the middle finger down to where the palm stops and the wrist starts. Then again from the pinky knuckle, across the broadest part and including the thumb (which should be laying flat). Both measurements are taken on the inside of the hand/palm
And I thought I was bad buying knives 😂
I want to get the Shark Cub Stealth slicer.

Haha! Yea, I usually get about 25-30 knives a month. It's pretty insane of me, tbh. I really do have a problem. Lol

God, frame locks just don't work for many of us, I have some I'm fine with but some others just no not working for me.
Same here. I struggle so bad with so many. Some knives that I really love i just can't carry often because I struggle with the frame locks.
