It is what we call in Europe whipped cream or vispgrädde in Sweden, i am usually making butter out of it when i want it with my own taste i do the same procedure and after cleaning it i put the engredients i want to taste( garling and parsley or just salt…)

The buttermilk from mine is not sour at all but probably not for coffee or tea. Good for cornflakes, rice crispy cereal and baking( I add a little sour cream when I want to bake with it even though it thickens while in the fridge). I warmed my buttermilk and used it as my liquid for making bread. It was so nice. Nothing goes waste 😋😊
I have watched butter making videos before but yours is the best plus also describes the yield where others leave you guessing and it was hard to tell how much it made. I am now going to make my own butter because I was just at the store (our one and only) that really overcharges for everything. I bought unsalted butter yesterday for $8.60 for a pound block with the price going up every other week and the whipping cream to make that would cost half that, plus I get some buttermilk with homemade too! I normally freeze my butter to always have some on hand. Subscribed because I've just spent a few hours watching your videos (choc. syrup, van & choc ice creams, butter cookies, buns, hard and whipped butter...). Nice save on that fried egg to scrambled (haha) Canada

Are you sure you used CREAM and not milk? Heavy cream, whipped cream even light cream...all work. BUT you need to chill both the cream and your utensils- the beaters and the bowl you are using..this is important so that the butter separates from the buttermilk.
