Hey Alex and greetings from Finland 🇫🇮 I've seen a lot of different tubers doing reaction videos but somehow I always end up coming back to you 🤔😁 Anyway, I can't begin to tell you how proud it makes me feel, as a Finn, to see you've reacted to atleast 3 Finnish bands- which also happens to be my favorites. (Amorphis, Nightwish, Children of Bodom). Keep it up! 👏
It's crazy! last time I heard Amorphis probably in 2005, you reminded me about great band. It's going back to my playlist:) Same thing was with Nightwish, i stoped listen to them after Tarya living... And now the again on my daily playlist. Thanks brahh!!!
I love this band basically because I was at their concert, got to hang out at the back stage and at their hotel in Beijing. They are the chillest and nicest guys ever!
This is not straight based on the story of Lemmikäinen's death as the song "Silent Waters" is. Rather that in Finnish mythology a bee is seen a healer and a life giver. I guees here you could see also the circle of life; skulls of the dead kings and the bees bring life in to them... Amorphis song are usually based on Finnish mythology and the Finnish national Epic Kalevala From the Finnish Epic of Kalevala; "Honey-bee, thou ether birdling, Fly a third time on thy journey, Fly away to high Jumala, Fly thou to the seventh heaven, Honey there thou'lt find abundant, Balsam of the highest virtue, Only used by the Creator, Only made from the breath of Ukko. God anoints his faithful children, With the honey of his wisdom, When they feel the pangs of sorrow, When they meet the powers of evil. Dip thy winglets in this honey, Steep thy plumage in His sweetness, Hither bring the all-sufficient Balsam of the great Creator; This will still my hero's anguish, This will heal his wounded tissues, This restore his long-lost vision, Make the Northland hills re-echo With the magic of his singing, With his wonderful enchantment."
BROTHERS OF METAL "Prophecy of Ragnarök" or "Yggdrasil". Both are about norse mythology, both are really good. "Prophecy of Ragnarök" has the advantage of having a videoclip. One downside is that you might have to learn a bit about norse mytology to understand everything
Wholly shit is right!!!!! My favorite finnish band!!! Thank you Alex!!! See I knew you'd love how he could go from growling to singing melody flawlessly!!! Epic af band am I right!! 🖤🖤🤘🤘
B = Blind Guardian Doesn't matter if you do studio or live versions, they are fantastic either way. Studio they layer vocals & lead guitars like Queen, live they are heavier and more Iron Maiden-like.

I agree While we sleep would be good, but IMHO he'd enjoy Unsung!!
I really hope he does Insomnium "While We Sleep" it's a good starter, but not the live versions xD this guys drink too much before the shows lol
When I had my skill test on event productions, I made a Finnish Metal exhibition in our small local library and I mentioned you and Jared Dines to so many people. You are one of the best channels on UA-cam and I always match the high five slap at the start of your videos. Lot's of love from Finland!
If you want to do another Amorphis Reaction you should checkout "Sky is mine", "come the spring" or "death of a king". Amorphis is such a great band
Come the spring is easily my favorite amorphis song. Dark path is amazing as well
@@nd1312 Come the spring and Sky is mine are my go to songs for car and train :D. Especially Come the spring seems so underrated to me
Come the Spring put tears in my eyes the first time I heard it
Damn! I rarely hear a new band/song that I really like but this one was amazing!
For "D" you have to do DEVIN TOWNSEND - DEADHEAD (live at Royal Albert Hall) :)
Yes! Amazing song. Amazing live version.
Yep. Great intro to Devin, and the DTB. Universal Flame from that same show would also be a great one for Alex to do.
Agree - didn't see this but just posted the same! Artist and Track both start with D... it's a sign :P
D should be Death, T could be Townsend or S for Strapping Young Lad

First time Amorphis got my attention this year, became my favourite album of the year!!! Incredible from start to finish.
Amorphis - Death of a king. You´ll love it!
Keep it up! 👏
Be'lakor for B. From scythe To sceptre for the song from them. Keep up the good work, big up from Finland for Amorphis! ❤️ 🤘
Be'lakor rarely gets reacted to. I hope he does this!
if he does fraught or venator
I agree....Be'lacor 💖
It's crazy! last time I heard Amorphis probably in 2005, you reminded me about great band. It's going back to my playlist:) Same thing was with Nightwish, i stoped listen to them after Tarya living... And now the again on my daily playlist. Thanks brahh!!!
check out Amongst Stars from the same album, my favorite song of 2018
I love this band basically because I was at their concert, got to hang out at the back stage and at their hotel in Beijing. They are the chillest and nicest guys ever!
Be'lakor the smoke of many fires
I love you
This is not straight based on the story of Lemmikäinen's death as the song "Silent Waters" is. Rather that in Finnish mythology a bee is seen a healer and a life giver. I guees here you could see also the circle of life; skulls of the dead kings and the bees bring life in to them... Amorphis song are usually based on Finnish mythology and the Finnish national Epic Kalevala
From the Finnish Epic of Kalevala;
"Honey-bee, thou ether birdling,
Fly a third time on thy journey,
Fly away to high Jumala,
Fly thou to the seventh heaven,
Honey there thou'lt find abundant,
Balsam of the highest virtue,
Only used by the Creator,
Only made from the breath of Ukko.
God anoints his faithful children,
With the honey of his wisdom,
When they feel the pangs of sorrow,
When they meet the powers of evil.
Dip thy winglets in this honey,
Steep thy plumage in His sweetness,
Hither bring the all-sufficient
Balsam of the great Creator;
This will still my hero's anguish,
This will heal his wounded tissues,
This restore his long-lost vision,
Make the Northland hills re-echo
With the magic of his singing,
With his wonderful enchantment."
Kai pakko sanoa että kalevala vetää hyvin vertoja lähi idän runoudelle.
Thanks, that was interesting.
I would go with "Yggdrasil" (which has a video clip since recent) but both are good.
The perfect song for metalhead beekeepers such as myself haha!!!
React to Opeth Ghost Of Perdition Live at the Roundhouse
Thanks for the reaction, Amorphis is my favorite band ever! Really love their evolution on time from the first to the last album!
you should also react to Amongst Stars by Amorphis
Greetings from Finland! Loved the reaction and love Amorphis! Amongst Stars is also a great track from the new album!
You should do A to Ö of Finnish metal.
What's letter Ö? :D
@@raitoniemi Ööh.. There's at least a hc punk band called Ödeema :D
that will take at least this whole year to complete that list 😅
@@argieStream LOL. My home town punk band :D Went to the same school with the guys
Wholly shit is right!!!!! My favorite finnish band!!! Thank you Alex!!! See I knew you'd love how he could go from growling to singing melody flawlessly!!! Epic af band am I right!! 🖤🖤🤘🤘
B = Blind Guardian
Doesn't matter if you do studio or live versions, they are fantastic either way. Studio they layer vocals & lead guitars like Queen, live they are heavier and more Iron Maiden-like.
As a metalhead I love watching your reactions to videos. Some bands I’ve heard of but never took the time to listen to. After I’ve watched your video I usually find that artist on ITunes and download their entire discography.
B = *BLIND GUARDIAN - MIRROR MIRROR*
B = *BE'LAKOR - COUNTLESS SKIES*
As much as I loved Blind Guardian when I was younger, Be'lakor definitely has to come once - they are so great.
@@seenbelow I think he needs to listen to both bands, they're equally awesome but in different metal subgenres. But I agree with you, I prefer Be'lakor.
Holy fuck Be'lakor is great af
I've just discovered this song of them at the same time as you, wow they still make great music! This one's so neat!
Happy New Year everyone.
Other suggestions from my side for Amorphis would be 'House Of Sleep' from 2006 and 'Skyforger' from 2009.
But really, you simply can't do anything wrong with Amorphis at all.
There is no song that I don't like personally and that's quite the rarity.
Good stuff Hefner and Amorphis!
Amorphis are undoubtedly my favorite metal band.. very true to their name (without definite shape), nearly every album is different than the last.. soooooooo good. I'm glad to see you finally getting around to them!
As far as a B is concerned... check out Borknagar - Winter Thrice!
Your additude deff becoming mine Brrrrah! And spreading it to others lol....have an amaizing new yr man
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE - this fire
Rose of Sharyn!
Luca M 😐
This fire
Never heard of this band, never heard of this song, but I like what they got going. Definitely adding that one to my playlist
Be'lakor - Abeyance
Yes!!!
Absolutley agree with you amorphis is a combo of dirty screams and clean vocals. With that symphonic sound thrown in. I fell in love with them over I of crimson blood
