I haven’t played in 6 weeks ( a pacemaker inserted),,, when I get back playing in one week April 8th I always look for swing tips from Adam P.,,,, thank you so much Adam,,, your the Best swing coach,,,,I’ve ever learned from,,,,,,,an old Veteran.
Porzak and Malaska are the best on UA-cam for golf lessons imo, they stick to what they believe to be the fundamentals in the golf swing as opposed to several other UA-cam golf coaches who chop and change between different swings on a weekly basis to gain views. Keep the videos coming please.
Yeah. Some might see it as needless repetition, but when so many other instruction videos jump from one quick fix tip to another, it's really refreshing to push the same ideas over and over.
This is solid gold. Thank you! As someone who has put a ton of focus on getting depth I also am guilty of pulling the backswing across the chest and get stuck inside. The takeaway down the line creates so much more room. Amazing how something so simple and fundamental can make such a big difference in the rest of the swing.
This is so much confirmation of what I took me months to figure out, as if Adam is giving me a lesson. This student has a carbon copy of what used to be my stock swing. Big Thumbs up. I LOVE the swing thought of taking the club away to P2 with your lead shoulder. I never could describe it, but that is exactly the feel I have these days.
Totally agree with that feel, I applied the change as well, and it feels like I am totally pushing the club away from me, LOL. :-) The result for me however is a fade.. That had me confused with other instructions at first, because my stock shot is a draw, I seem to be one of the rare breed that can take the club inside, but still achieve an in-to-out path and close the face - but because of the lack of width I was massively selling myself short on distance. Funny old game.
Everything he says makes perfect sense to me. Definitely gonna hit the range tomorrow and work on this very thing. My contact problems probably cost me 14-15 strokes per round. Not an exaggeration.
Does the down the line and up the escalator apply to driver also? I feel like I'm off plane with driver. So should keep the hands down the target line as long as possible?
Between you and Danny Maude I’ve shaved 10 strokes off my game in 6 months. Keep it coming! One thing I’d love is for you to say “here’s how this relates to driver” … might not but I get screwed up between the two swings.
I also have Multiple videos explaining what needs to be felt more with the driver… staying centered(behind the ball), improving the sequence, having the hands accelerate ahead of the body so that the longer club catches up in the body’s rotation, and allowing the club head to swing a little bit more for those who have a lot of lag. All these questions are answered on our channel!
@@PorzakGolf you’re right and I’m digging into those too! The hand speed to rotation changed my life, horse race :) I’ll break 80 one day because of your videos :)!!
Feel vs real.. it's a massive difference. Even the player in the video still kinda pulling his right arm at the top after Adam fixed his takeaway multiple times lol. I'm kinda struggling the same and it's really hard to fix.. You really need to exaggerate your feel. Thanks a lot for the great video!!
Yes, much of the trail arm issues would be fixed although some coaching on how to maintain the ‘giving blood’ position and properly rotate that trail arm in the backswing wouldn’t hurt.
@PorzakGolf OK, let me watch your giving blood video again . By the way, I own you a big shout-out on pump drill video. I actually did this for 60 days straight 100 balls per day. Amazing results
Great 🤬 video. I’m 6’ 3” and a lot of people say I have a picture perfect practice swing but when I go to hit the ball, something terrible happens 40% of the time & I believe that I just fixed the problem thanks to your advice on the right elbow. Yes I know it’s a run on sentence.
That guy had been watching too much Saguto golf prior to being with Porzak. The flat back swing and the "crispy" give it away 😂
Hahahaha

Just superb tuition! I love how the message from Adam and Mike is super consistent

Best tuition on the internet, keep it up Adam much appreciated here in the North west, England. 🇬🇧
Down the line then up the escalator. Never heard that but brilliantly simple. Thanks from the UK

When you are used to pulling your hands close to your body, keeping them on the line feels really weird. Until you hit one and it is a perfect draw.

What an excellent example of how the body moves to create the backswing! You make it so easy to understand! Love your golf lessons! Bravo!! 👏😍

Wish we lived close to one another I’d definitely get a lesson from you. You’re the best I’ve seen on UA-cam!
Most crucial element in the swing to understand.... and practice a lot!!
Always come back to this video when I’m struggling with my irons
Game changer video for me - thanks🙌
This video is so f#%ck8ng clear and simple. Thank you
Hand path , great tip.
Thanks Adam, great content!
My pleasure!

Love hearing that…One swing! Setup changes!

I just had a lesson yesterday on this exact thing with my pro
This is a gd video I'm going to try this. I've been feeling like I'm to close.
Gold!
Beautiful. Thanks as always :)
Thank you too!
Is my thought correct in saying the arms go straight down the line as the turn gives you depth? Man crush on you….sorry, not sorry
Super stuff
He said crispy!! He's been watching another UA-camr!!

Noticed he’s using 10 finger grip. Any negatives to this?
Is that Colin Wilcox?! Stud!
So as long a my hands stay in front of my sternum my elbow should be in the correct position.?

I have been asking if having a big tummy (front and side) would hinder this technique but not getting any answer😢
It only hurts your chances if it causes an inability to turn! If you can turn your body in the backswing, there should be no issue!

It's funny your student kept taking it way inside when he rehearsed what you said but over the ball he did it right.
The best way to fix for me was giving the blood position with my trail arm at the address. It's almost like cheating.
