No joke, this is actually as intense as the review copy version of Consort Radahn was like. The pre-nerf Radahn we all fought was actually nerfed as well. And there's a video of the acctual og fight on youtube as well.
Okay, the sad thing is. Up until that final phase. This... looked like an actually really good remix of the Consort Radahn fight. But, the fan mod-isms started really showing in the final phase.... Which is REALLY sad. The flow was actually really good in the prior phases. But, I feel like having an undodgable one move kill for not being Mega Bonk is asinine. And, the darting all over the place playing animations at random with no rhythm also didn't help things....
For real, phase 1 and 2 were amazing, alot of aspects in them are what i wanted to see in base game, maybe some more bloodflame but they were really good, phase 3 is just obvious artificial difficulty
Phew November is really a month of Consort Overhauls huh? I’ve played the mod once during the first release and looking at how different it is now, I want to fight this one again
this modified version of the boss figure is almost more balanced than the original version, having removed most of the light rays from the standard combos makes it much less punishing, the dash attack with afterimages is very simple to dodge with the first shot that starts early, the more distant camera allows you to better understand what is happening and also the meteor attack is improved with many more single shots called by the explosions in the sky and with the final shot which is not a multihit like the original , just one thing, when he dashes around the entire arena attacking with afterimages there is nothing that clearly suggests when they are about to strike plus it almost seems like they strike at random and the beams of light he releases when he dashes around the map don't let you know where is the boss, if I fixed these little things this mod would be perfect for me, difficult but balanced and much more spectacular without being too confusing
The first 2 phases are really great, but the 3rd one is too much, it can be made good, but for this you need to slow down Radan's movement and add animation, then it will look better, + the idea with a time limit is the biggest disappointment in the mod, because it excludes all possible challenges where you need much more time than in a normal game + it forces you to use imba builds, which is not very good, you can try to save this attack, but make it possible to dodge.
Incredible phase 2 skybox and some really cool effects especially on the Meteor. I'm mostly just left questioning mechanics. But the amount of spectacle is legit really impressive for this mod.

That "if you don't kill him fast enough" move, kinda reminds me of Vergil's Judgement Cut End, BUT, in the FRICKIN' AIR! That last attack, my exact reaction:' WHAT THE F%#@!" OMG, man, you MORE than earned my New Sub!

i like how he doesn’t take away half your health bar every swing. can’t really learn the boss if one mistake means you’re out, and you get to appreciate the boss more that way
I think this version of Radahn is much more manageable than the Original just because the dumb pillars of light of the 2nd phase are pretty much gone for most of the combos. And the timer you have to take care of is also really cool, but feels a bit unbalanced because how much Radahn moves from place to place, the LONG and SLOW distance attacks and how tanky he still is. Still really cool !
whoever created this mod has to be the real miyazaki who created ds3 and bb (everything is great except for the tping and keeping the pontiff sulyvahn combo)
If this was actually consort radahn’s moveset I wouldn’t be mad, because with this now you can have an awesome spectacle and a perfect reason to summon Ansbach + Thioller And as a bonus players who usually use normal builds can now be as shamelessly broken as they want Edit: basically I think this is better than actual consort, by a lot
This is a mod. Most players wouldn't even be able to defeat him if this was the actual fight cos there's too much going on in phase 3. Just look at how fast the camera switches around. Imagine having to deal with that 50 times in a row.
@@anonisnoone6125 my point is that someone with 2 summons, an op build, and strong armor would struggle but still be able to do it It’s like how against base game radahn many people summoned as much as possible yet still struggled, it’s fitting and also a chance for the player to finally stop holding back without feeling like it’s unfair

@@hare75 Who said that if it's a MOD, then you need to close your eyes to objective problems? Mods are needed to diversify/improve the vanilla gameplay, the mod is good, no one argues, but with obvious problems starting from phase 3.

@@duntool3250 Yeah... oddly in some way. Phase 1 and 2 almost flowed better than vanilla Consort Radahn.... But, again, phase 3 kind of ruined it.
