I have this one as well and was stunned. Giving serious consideration to getting the silver leaf one as well. I have liked Grand Seiko for years, but not so much anymore given their pricing verse the new Citizen competition.
Go on AliExpress and there are many 19mm straps. Cheap enough for you to order and test before committing serious money on Delugs or Holbens or Hirsch etc
As good as this looks in pics and videos it's even more stunning in person. Because it's hand-made that means no two dials are exactly the same as well.
@@beyond36horology there’s an option from a cheaper model I hear but it’s a cheaper bracelet and I think it may detract from it If it came with a nicer bracelet I suspect it would be $100-150 cheaper than my seiko sarx057 and it compares well agains that watch but the seiko has a very nice bracelet with five peice links with the parodied bits being their own part and the whole watch and bracelet is titanium hence why I’d think this with a good bracelet would be that close in price And they are very similar in specs and being dressy sports watch’s or sporty dress watches
@@beyond36horology if it had a good bracelet I’d expect it to be the equal of my sarx057 with a slightly cheaper price for not being titanium Gonna try some other straps but I think the stock one goes well with it
The strap lengths (just the leather) are 68mm for the strap connected to 12oclock 125mm for the strap connected to 6oclock The strap is held together by a deployant clasp.
I think SARB033 is in the diffrent class. It has more classic, clean dial, and has a cheaper prize, has staniless stell bracelet that more versitile if you get bored you can swap it with leather, for clsssic watch i prefer a clean dial , just my opinion

Yes, Citizen has been doing good work recently. Perhaps helped by it's recent acquisitions?

Blue by fact I bought it. The white is very subtle and you'll end up having to anguish between this lacquer dial or the white washi paper dial.

I think just stick to this watch. Both watches have the same movement but this has a superior dial.

The main issue I have with the SARB is that it is discontinued and the asking prices are close to this Citizen.
