My wrist size is 6.25 inch and based in Singapore. This is a quick and dirty unboxing of a Casio Duro. I can be reached at jason-watches@outlook.com for collaboration opportunities. In my opinion, I should have gotten the original Duro than this reduced version. Despite my skinny wrists, I find the watch 2mm too small. The discount Tag Heuer - Unboxing, first impressions & review of Casio Edifice EFV-150D-2AV

I can be reached at jason-watches@outlook.com. Today's video is on the Casio Edifice EFV-150D-2AV. While the design influence of Tag Heuer Carrera Day-Date is strong, I bought it because I thought it was possibly a SARB killer. In case I didn't mention in the video, I like the wear of the 150 over the 100 because it is slimmer and compact. However, the chamfer of the topsides of the lugs is puz...

Do the 3d shop have a website that we can browse through the watches?
They have a Facebook page that they use to highlight new arrivals but no online store id thats what you are asking.
@@beyond36horology Thanks for the info. Where can I find the Zelos watch in SG apart from their own store?

citizen b15090 vs seiko SNKL41J1 which one batter watch
Yeah, I dunno mate, I think you're mostly just paying for the brand name here. I haven't seen a comparison between this & a generic one, so I don't know if the case quality is all that much better, though I think the dials might be a bit more premium? At the end of the day Tianjin isn't an integrated watchmaker afaik so any other factory making generic 1963s could source the same parts from the same factories as Tianjin is, negating that advantage anyways. The only other potential advantage of a Tianjin fab watch is the presistent rumour that Tianjin keeps all the high grade ST19s for itself, & offloads the worse ones on to other factories. So you're potentially getting a cleaner, better quality, better regulated movement. & that's also why buying generic 1963s isn't really an ethical issue compared to the usual fakes, because Tianjin knowingly sells those factories ST19s, giving implicit authorisation to make the generics. If Tianjin was actually concerned by the generics, then they'd cut supply to those factories. Think about it, it's a win-win for Tianjin. They make money selling the movements for generics, & then market themselves as the original & the higher quality watch, & charge a massive premium. Though that brings up the question of who is actually making the most margins on the Tianjin watches, the factory or the reseller? Unless something has changed in the last couple of years, Tianjin has *no* western facing storefront on the internet, all "official" Tianjin internet stores are just 3rd party agents given licence by Tianjin to market their products. & there's been drama in the past with agents doing shady things. Afaik the only ways to buy directly from Tianjin are to go to one of their 3 brick & mortar stores, or I think they have an actual official storefront on Taobao. So, in effect, you're paying a massive premium to a 3rd party agent, for a possibly better quality watch, an unknown guarantee, & easier shipping. I think the generic reproductions of the original 1963 on AliX are really the better buy, even if the movements can be a roulette of quality. I'm not interested in a "modernised" version, I want 36mm & an acrylic crystal! (Plus they usually come with an exhibition caseback, & while I usually don't care about those on low grade movements, it is fun on an ST19)
Thank you for your comments. There alread have been videos made on the comparison plus I sold my non official version some time back, so it is senseless to buy back for the review. Granted that I have an affiliate link, but I also wanted to have one that I know is official because that's what I'm looking for as a collector. It's hard to explain but maybe a future video on it would be useful.
@beyond36horology nah collector value definitely makes sense
i got this watch from yodobashi last month when i was in Japan. absolutely love this watch. citizen is criminally underrated.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Did you visit Ginza Seiko?
Where to buy this same exact watch ??? Help I luv this lookz
I thought Seagull released an international version with a clear back
Yes they announce the see through case back very recently
So no antirreflectante coating?
There is, but it's just a very bright day too
The Duro is too big for my taste and this would be too small for me, though I love the color.
Yes, I bought this for the colour and not the size.
Now casio is just ruining its reputation...releasing too much products & colours by seeing other fashion watch brands, releasing ring watches, copying the design of big brands...its hurting me as a watch enthusiast
Thanks for sharing.
I love the look. It had the potential to be an amazing watch , but Casio decided to go really cheap with it. What a shame.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I believe Casio wants to do product differentiation.
@beyond36horology I still plan on buying one. Just not available to the US yet.
@@mordecaialivanallenoshea7532 Thanks. Based on my recent purchases, I would say the new Edifice Chronograph EFB 730D would be a better buy. Your mileage may vary.
Actually this looks a lot like the Seiko Prospex chronographs. And the white date window is perfect on a silver dial watch. The rule that a lot of picky enthusiasts complain about is when a dial is dark, it deserves a black date window with white numerals.
Thanks for watching and sharing
It's exasperating to see Casio pumping out watches like this when they have the capabilities. Can't understand what's difficult about creating another proper dive watch to add to the current catalog along with the Duro, unless it's intentionally made to be worse just to cast the Duro in a much better light in comparision.
I'm not sure where you are from, but there is a big market for poor spec but affordable Casios. At the shop where I buy my watches from, you can see plenty of tourists from the Philippines buying this range in multiples.
@@beyond36horology Im from where you are - Singapore haha. For sure it's good enough for most - agreed there's a big market for affordable casios, i still love my dirt cheap MTP-V005 that i still own after 5 years and still kept even after just gotten into the watch hobby the enthusiast crowd feeling disappointed by this Casio Sumo Homage is just a very loud minority that won't make a dent in Casio's revenues.
Shame the bezel is fixed. Really can't understand why.
Cost cutting measure definitely. Watch looks good at a quick glance
Attractive but so cheap; folded links, stamped folding clasp, fixed bezel, terrible lume for sure, 50m wr, mineral crystal. It's a child's watch imo. Worth no more than $25 US
It shows SGD120 full retail on the Casio online store but I definitely got a discount. You can even spot it if you are sharp enough.
Can't understand this watch, looks like a diver but with fix bezel and 5 atm ......why Casio ? Why ?
Casio at the entry level has plenty of watches that look great but lack the rugged specs.
Seiko are good for what they are, I’ve enjoyed many Seikos over the years. Mostly Prospex and a couple of Presage’s. They are not compatible to Rolex or any other higher end Swiss watch manufacturer. The Seiko 5 logo is a bit tacky, the prospex X is also a bit tacky. The bracelets on Seiko watches are generally not very good and we all know that things like bezels do not always line up well on Seiko Prospex divers even when spending £1000-£1500. Although a different company I’ve had a Grand Seiko GMT on a bracelet and that bracelet was also pretty average and that was on a £3000 watch. But with all that in mind Seiko are a very good brand that produce nice watches within their price range. But that’s all.
Thanks for sharing and watching. Much appreciated

There is Lume but rather poor
Does anyone sell fake watches?
Not here
It would have been acceptable if the lug width is 18mm. Ton of military watches have this case size. However with any 16mm band, it feels small!
Yes, 16mm definite feels off
Beautiful dial. Terrible bracelet
Cannot disagree
What type of crystal does it have?
Mineral crystal
Pity - No screw down crown - nor screw on back - what were they thinking??!! 1) I do like the 36mm size. Traditionally, 36-38mm used to be a LARGE men's watch. I have a bunch of MEN's form the 1940's to 1990's that are from 32mm to 36mm. Most military watches were around 34mm, until the more recent craze which sometimes goes to extremes, such as 50mm watches that remind me of portable alarm clocks or pocket watches with a strap. I have two of the MDV106. I like them - except for the size. The larger watch gets bumped around more. If I wear it all day long, I get skin problems under the larger case. I don't have either problem with the smaller case size, such as both of my Tissot watches (34mm) and two Hamilton watches of 32 and 36mm, or my numerous Seiko, none of which are any larger than 38mm and three of which I bought in the 1980's, are 30mm. And YES, they are men's watches. Notably, I can wear any of those all day and night. I wear the 42mm watches and I have a skin problem in a few hours. In my shop or working on cars, the larger watches take damage, particularly to the more vulnerable crystals. I have had several with cracked crystals, making the bigger case watches annoying junk. ...and no I don't have small wrists, but not overly large either - 7.7 inches (195mm). I was really looking forward to this model with a 36mm case. (Yes, I just came across it. For some stupid reason, it doesn't show up in searches for 36 or 38mm watches.) Why Casio would make their dive watch without a screw down crown and screw on back is incredible. What was the point? Saving almost no money in manufacturing. It does require a new back, but the tooling is there for the crown. This would have resulted in a 200m rating, instead of the 50m rating, which may really not even be good enough to dip your hand in the sink. More insulting is that the blasted thing actually costs more than the MDV106 current street price in equivalent trim. Casio, you failed. Not on the size, but on not keeping the features. I have gripes about the guys who like to say that a 36-38mm is too small. I find it laughable when someone whines that it must be for boys, or women, or the dial is too small. Guess all those soldiers who wore 32-34mm military watches were a bunch of little boys??? As to the dial too small. I really have to wonder about the people who say this. Just how bad is their visual acuity? I used to have a Heuer (not Tag Heuer) 37-38mm 200m dive watch. That was the normal size. I had no problem seeing the dial just fine.
I like 36 mm watches in general, but I have to add 2-4 mm for divers. I can get away with a 40 mm diver and wish that was what this was.
Thanks for watching as well as your earnest comment
