Hey Adriel, I’ve been curious about Jonak. How’s the quality? Any American shoe brand parallels/similarities? (For example, are they more like Target, Steve Madden, Cole Haan, Stewart Weitzman, Prada 😊? These are just random brands that came to mind, with various price points and vibes. Feel free to name any brands.)
I love Jonak. They really don’t compare to any American brand. They’re comfortable (like Stuart Weitzman) but probably in the price range of Steve Madden.

Can't corroborate the story but we were told that the prior owner left during the Nazi occupation and the store was taken over after the liberation by the current family in 1946. The site says they "acquired" the bakery in 1946 and that it was run by the Haarscher family in the 19th century but no mention of the time between the two families.
Try Nose and Olfactivity. I haven’t been to Olfactivity (yet) but it’s been on my list for quite some time. One of my friends went and liked the scents.

Adriel,how much was that Polene handbag?
It was 280 euros. I know the prices are quite different in dollars for most Polene handbags - which surprised me.
