Hands down you ROCK Clayton, its you realness the no fake angler i keep coming back for more, you can tell you you enjoy doing what you are doing and we all enjoy watching you and much appreciate your hard work thanks man
No let downs here Clayton! I haven’t been able to get out much the last couple winters…so I’m living vicariously through you out on the ice. Can’t wait until the next one! Thanks for taking us along.
You are not letting anybody down. I love your videos. In fact only you and Uncut are the only two channels that I have to watch as new videos come out. Keep it up man, you're doing great.
Some camera personnel is going to have a great opportunity. I watched Aaron and Jay for a long time and would die for that kind of experience. Awesome job!
Another great vid as always. Always glad for your uploads because it keeps me busy when I’m not fishing as well as just another reason to procrastinate my school work hahaha
You do a fine job at developing these videos Clayton. It's nice to break it up now and then. Sure the underwater video really adds a nice factor but it's also good to be versatile. Good things happen outside the box too. As always I enjoy your videos.
8:00 I say this knowing that there is no single way to catch a lake trout but I get so much anxiety watching you jig and jig and jig while these marks come up lol! i would be reeling away immediately to entice a bite!!!
Clayton Schick Outdoors haha awesome! Love seeing successful laker missions. Wish I could get out there to manitoba to smash some giants. But Lake Simcoe will have to do haha
Nice video as usual Clayton! Nice to have some weather finally where you don't have to set up the hut and heaters hey? We've had a week or so of nice weather, starting to stick on me haha
So much work running and gunning if you are setting up all that gear and cameras every time. I like it though! You did not let us down. Doesn't matter. Was still enjoyable.
Hey man you're doin an awesome job! Keep it up! I'm hoping to get into some filming this summer and you're one of the guys I look up to for that. Keep it up man!
" I wonder if the color of this fish has something to do with the fish in the area" or whatever you said had me scratching my head lol deep thoughts with Clayton 😂 Good stuff man!
All the videos you make are awesome man! I think videos like fish addiction are way over edited. I like the videos to be fishing and educating. You, Jay, Aaron and marshal outdoors make the best videos. You Canadiens sure can slam big fish.
Excellent video as always!! Keep them up! One follow up question from last video about underwater cameras. I see you have aquavu HD as well as Revolution 5. Does the HD give better video in low light/ stained water? Is it worth the upgrade? Thanks so much !!!
It’s really cool to watch your channel grow. You’ll hit your goal in no time man. I got a question do your hooks come barbless? Down here we mash are barbs I was wondering if barbless is going to become the standard it just seams better/safer for yourself and the fish. Where could I get some barbless lol
Clayton what is your honest opinion on the strike master lithium. Looks like you use the 10” auger. Any trouble cutting through layers of slush/ice in deeper ice with 10” since you are further north. Hope to buy one next year thx.
Couple questions..how do you like your digger rack?! Any issues with unlatching?! And secondly where you find your auger cover?? Ok and a third, hows the 10” bit run on the lithium, any bogging? I bought 8 n love it but would like to have 10”...!! Thanks man killer videos btw keep em up!!
Digger Rack has been good for me, no unlatching yet. Auger cover I got from scheels and it helps keep all the slush off it. 3rd, the 10" has been amazing!!
I would pay to see a good video on reading a contour map to find lakers. I fished lakers thru the ice this season with not much luck. Most of the people on the lake use primarily tip ups and that's not really my Forte lol.
Hmm... What kind of sled were you thinking of??? If I may make a suggestion I'd still go with a 550 2stroke fan. (but that's just me) 4 stroke is nice but for the amount of miles an ice fishing rig does it's not worth the price IMO not to mention weight and hard starting in the cold. The fan is better for fishing because it won't overheat near as easily hauling heavy loads and can run on almost zero snow early and late ice (just enough for the sliders) liquids need higher speeds to cool too. And get something decently light so you can muscle it around If need be. I drive a 600lb tank of a sled and FREAKING HATE IT!!!! But it gets me out fishing so I deal LOL I'm kind of liking the skidoo tundras and renegade myself. At the end of the day tho it's all trivial. As long as you got something that runs good and gets you out there. LOL my cousin still runs an old Arctic cat panther from the 70's HAHAHA
Clayton Schick Outdoors I've actually driven the skandic before. It's fast, powerful, comfortable and lots floatation. However ITS A FREAKING BUS TO STEER. If you have to do any bush trails or any kind of sharp turn you're hooped (very wide ski stance too). It's more of a pure utility sled. Great if you're hauling 500lbs of commercial gear everyday or freight hauling firewood tho. The machine you have now probably suit your needs better than skandic. if you really want to turn your sled into an ice machine just put a few after market mods in like a longer tunnel and extra wide skis. Much cheaper than buying a new sled too. Again that's just me, long as you got a rig you like. Just make sure it's able to SEND IT!!!!!ua-cam.com/video/mzOUgwsQ_hM/v-deo.html
And the award goes to... YOU! Best videos of the season by far... hands down. Thanks for all the learnings.
Thank you for the love!

No let down Clayton. One thing I like about your videos is it’s reel fishing as it is.as it happens. Minus a cut and edit here and there.
Thanks Cory!
You have nothing to worry about Clayton your videos are great. Cant wait until the next one.
Another quality video by the lake trout master.

Oh trust me... If i put the whole video you would see me trying that too :)
Clayton Schick Outdoors haha awesome! Love seeing successful laker missions. Wish I could get out there to manitoba to smash some giants. But Lake Simcoe will have to do haha

Wicked videos Clayton! Anytime I talk fishing with someone I tell them to check out your channel.
I really appreciate you passing the channel on to other people! :)

Nice man! Have some fun with it!
another great video clayton
Great video!
" I wonder if the color of this fish has something to do with the fish in the area" or whatever you said had me scratching my head lol deep thoughts with Clayton 😂 Good stuff man!
Both the vids are great. Some great lakers
Do not worry dude, awesome video!
What a tank!

Appreciate the kind words!
Excellent video as always!! Keep them up! One follow up question from last video about underwater cameras. I see you have aquavu HD as well as Revolution 5. Does the HD give better video in low light/ stained water? Is it worth the upgrade? Thanks so much !!!
Yes, the Aqua VU HD seems to just be that much better. Low light has been pretty good. I can't say much for stained water yet.
It’s really cool to watch your channel grow. You’ll hit your goal in no time man. I got a question do your hooks come barbless? Down here we mash are barbs I was wondering if barbless is going to become the standard it just seams better/safer for yourself and the fish. Where could I get some barbless lol
We mash our hooks down :)
Clayton Schick Outdoors good to know!
Great video! Nice tips for lakers!
Clayton what is your honest opinion on the strike master lithium. Looks like you use the 10” auger. Any trouble cutting through layers of slush/ice in deeper ice with 10” since you are further north. Hope to buy one next year thx.
My honest opinion is I LOVE IT!! made life a LOT easier.
Hey Clayton, will you be uploading over the open water season as well?
yes 100% I am going to crank out as much content as I can.
nice video clay, those tubes had a bit better action on em! just gotta get yourself a tundra now. did you come across any slush out there?
Not bad for slush, just on some of the smaller lakes.
Where can I get the ice fish MB hat? Looks great!!
They should be for sale next year.
Do you ever find that when you’re chumming you put too much chum and can’t actually get the fish off of it and onto your lures?
Sometimes I think less chum is better :)

Still a great vid. I hope you do get that camera man someday. Im rootin for ya. One of the best fishing hosts out there.
Thank you :)
Hey nice videos. What kind of case do you prefer for 42” plus rods?
I use a rifle case for now.
Clayton why didn't you reel away from those 3 fish ? I feel like you would of caught one a lot sooner , they love the chase ! Awesome vid as always .
I try that lots as well... every lake is different too
it that the new update for the helix??
I have not done an update for a year.
I need to get me a hat like that ,nice
With the run and gun method were you still chumming?
No, I wasn't. I did my first spot that day.
What size laker would you recommend to eat?!!!
22-26" is my preferred size, as long as it fits in the lakes regulations :)
Thank you and love the content!😊
What knot you use to tie your leader on? Uni to uni?
Yes sir, uni to uni
What kind of rods are you using?
Those were TUCR rods, I am now using a Frost Bite Mr.Big and they are coming out with a new rod this year as well!! :)
Hey Clayton what are your top 5 lures for lakers
Right now, I have 3
Tube Jig
Super leech flutter spoon
Savage Gear Sand eel
Hey, I'm going there next week. Got any pike tips?
They are starting to get into the shallows! Good luck buddy!
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Thanks!

I will keep this in mind 100%
how'd you mount the bin?
The sled has a t-track that I could slide some bolts in there.
What is the exact snow machine you have plus the stuff of the back of the snow machine?
Sorry I didn’t see that part of the snow machine lol my fault
@@nathangravel2883 all good :)
How does the snow machine handle half a foot of slush?
She does pretty well actually with the big paddles.
So Clayton are you going to take uncut anglings cash with a pig walleye or what?
I am hoping so! Gonna put in some time for sure!
Awesome!
You da man Clayton. Sign me up if you ever need a right hand man
Appreciate it :)

Thanks for the information.... Was thinking possible at a skandic, but not 100% on what I want to do, so far this sled has been good to me.
