    10:05 actually I’m Kuwaiti and no I don’t say that it’s a family thing idk how to explain it because there is types of big families say it with an accent and also other big families (like me) say it normally :) i hope I explained well

      Yeah, exactly!!! I’m Kuwaiti too. My family say it like that. We don’t say jadeed, we say yedeed. However, I wouldn’t say one is normal and the other isn’t. Both are normal, but it’s just different families have different accents, based on how our ancestors lived.

      Basically beduins “nomads” “badu” mostly came from saudi arabia and they reside in the outskirts, hence their accents. “Hadhar” which literally translates to “civilized” resided in the city and created their own accent.
