I love the fact that you guys truly honor the classic martial arts films. As someone who loved watching these movies when I was younger, it makes me happy.
The Ip Man series is "old classics" !?
Veavictis Asmadi He must be 14
Go Time Now they do in a street fight
It also strongly referenced the original Drunken Master, plus also a few others I probably missed. I doubt they stuck to just two.
@@nicktheeskrimador1486 I see all the old Jackie Chan classics in these moves. Plus the sound of the clothes moving at each strike. So 80ies ! I love it.
I have watched Donny Yen IP Man 1, 2, 3 and 4 more than 4 times each... Love the calmness of IP Man...
There is IP Man 5, but its called "IP Man Kong Fu Master"
@ ye bat he must beh weng chon master
I always loved 3. Definitely my absolute favorite
@@A95xairii its one form of Chinese martial art originated by a Noble lady. The movement is graceful but it uses the force of the attacker more than itself. That's what I understand but I can be wrong.
In order to be a good fighter no matter what style you must be able to control you emotions that's exactly what ip man is doing
This is phenomenally incredible. I love everything about this, the choreography, the superb fight sequences is far superior to most hollywood movies.
I give you TEN stars for that performance. You know you guys should be making movies. I loved every minute of all the styles that you showed. It was beyond great. Remember my brothers two heads are better than one.😔😎
Congrats Andy Le on making it into the MCU, playing Death Dealer in the upcoming Shang Chi movie.
For real? Wtf congrats to him!

Holy cow... Just bumped into this gem... Mind blowing action... Superb choreography... Totally caught me off guard... Dying to see more of this...
This video is one of Martial Club's best works. Pays respect to legends like Ip Man and to Martial Arts movies as a whole. Thank you for keep Martial Arts alive here in the US and in us the viewers.
When one stays fluid, one can learn many styles and techniques, thus becoming more than just a master
These Vietnamese are doing well and catching up with the Chinese
I am a 100% fan of Jackie Chan, Jet Li & IP Man..you guys did justice to them all including my hero BRUCE LEE...Great job and keep the legends ALIVE!!
Okay, so you said Jackie Chan, Jet Li but instead of saying Donnie Yen you said Ip Man?
@@zang0811 well I would assume you know who I'm referring to? Donnie Yen is a legend as well!
Donnie yen: *Oh for fucks sake*
I am 60 years old. Lover of martial arts movies since I was a teenager, used to watching great Kung Fu movies with great unsurpassed martial artists. However, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY WITH FIGHTERS AS IMPRESSIVE AS IN THAT SCENE! The fighters, the styles, the speed of the blows, the fluidity of the movements, the lighting, the music... EVERYTHING PERFECT! NOTE 1000!!! 😳☝☝☝
This is off the chain! You've out done yourself. I hear movie contracts. The modern day tricking (w/o wires) is so dope. 55&39 years training...again. Love y'all.
The hype when the "once upon a time in China" soundtrack came on!
that is electrifying...
absolute classic
I love that soundtrack. .
Yes, entire music just electrifies the mood. Epic
Aye Jale Wong Fei Hung’s theme are stuffs of legends.
I met the big dude at the gym down in Huntington Beach. Apparently he’s the YOUNGER brother of the lead character. He is a such an amazing and sweet guy. This channel deserves to grow so much.
Brian Le? Yeah, he seems like a fun guy to be around :)
Very well done! A true mixture of Five Animals, Five Elements, Wing Chun, Hung Gar and Wu Shu. Salute Gentlemen!!
I stumbled into this gem, there no other way to describe it. The choreography is spot on, it is obvious that you guys put a lot of thought in it. Also it shows the love that you guys have for the Martial Arts. I particularly like the comedic moves that were inserted here and there, they were just subtle enough that you would missed them if did not pay attention and that made them even funnier. A worthy tribute to the great franchise that Ip Man is. Keep up the great work guys.
Spot on? The guy wasn’t even using wing chun!
3 minutes of dialogue, 11 minutes of action, ✔.

Kick ass kung fu, ✔.
Great production, ✔.

Jump cut after jump cut, faux raccord and lame sfx... Still good action sequence but far from something that looks realistic
I hear ya, but it's a short film, not real life. Fights in real life have no choreography. Whatever happens, happens.
The JKD was the Icing on that cake 👍

"As long as man has two arms and two legs, there is but one way to fight." 😤👍🏽

Jesus Christ! Where has this been all my life!??? 😮😀
A great throwback to the classics of Kungfu with some of the choreography! This is fantastic and you guys are incredible. More success to you guys in even bigger roles as well.
Cheers! 🍺
I thought the lead character would conclude his revenge with Tai Chi.. I waited anxiously for it. I was left breathless when Bruce lee's style came out from nowhere. Truly amazing.. beautiful. I just came across this and i have watched it over 7 times today alone.
love how even moving just the fingers make a "swoosh" sound, just like in good ol' Hongkong movies
I liked how he (Ip Man) used everyone's style/moves on the last guy. That lil Bruce Lee section was awesome, too.
I forget what Bruce Lee movie it was. But one of my favorite lines/quotes he said when talking about styles was "It doesn't matter where it comes from. If it can help you in a fight. Then you should use it".
Probably Enter the Dragon. Especially the part where Bruce was scolding his student lol.
Master level stuff here, guys. Possibly the best choreography I've seen outside of Kung Fu cinema. Donnie Yen and Ip Sifu would be proud.
I was borned in late 80s. It literally gives me chills by watching this. All memories from good old golden era of Kung Fu movies just pop up! Big Thumb up from R.O.C.
That’s Jackie singing in the end. These guys deserve the success they are literally amazing.
nope, the song name is Kung Fu Master, sing by Donnie Yen
It‘s Donnie Yen (甄子丹) - 找理想
Love how they're bringing back the old school Kung Fu fighting technique... the SHAW BROTHERS
As a martial artist, I can say that was truly legendary.
What a wonderful display of skill, agility, and focus. These guys are amazing.
Your fight choreography is better than most movies.
Because they practice real kung fu .. most are just animated
Better than most movies? Thoses moves are taken from several asian classic films! 😅

@Im wearing tights that I borrowed from your mum. Rely on UA-cam earnings you mean? Won't earn much with their rating. If they wanted to join China, HK movie line, they should take up either Mandarin or Cantonese language class first. However, this video is 1 of their worst due to fast forward to make it looks like they could move really fast, bad fight choreography with McDojo level stopping whenever the hands clash especially.
They too ugly, 🤣
I can’t believe I’m now watching this for the first time. And I’ve been watching Martial Club for years!
This is absolutely fantastic. I am dumbfounded by the quality, message and execution of this project. You guys are the real deal and through your hard work, living the dream❤
Doesn't matter how many times I watch these guys,I'm always entertained and amazed at how much they put in these. It shows how generations of teachings and the love of the these styles has influenced them. I grew up watching Kung Fu Theater and looked forward to it more than my cartoons on Saturday. Thanks guys for keeping these traditions alive and I pray that the traditions of these movies are kept alive forever.
This is way better than any Hollywood movie. You guys are awesome
But not better then Bollywood, Bollywood is king
Back in the 80s and 90s, I would have thought this was beyond awesome AF!

The Bruce lee style put fear in my bones, like this is master level choreography better than many movies I’ve seen, well done

This is way better than a lot of the martial arts movies I've seen throughout the years. It's very impressive short film that you should be proud of yourselves.
How intuitively the main character adapted to all styles he faced, to then incorporate them in his retaliation and rise triumphant. Truly earning the fitting title “The Intercepting Fist” ... @@scottmcdonald4571 I know ! Not many decent Martial Arts movies out nowadays. Oh and the belt is just for holding up the trousers :P
Pretty sure the style they use doesn't have a belt system.
Doesn’t matter if MMA’s all the rage nowadays. Traditional martial arts movies in this style need to come back.
Hey
bu-but it's more realistic
This style of choreography is actually outdated and blatantly unrealistic.
It lacks what a real fight situation involves.
Real situations involve flow and pace, not slight pauses between every single blow.
You're mistaking traditional martial arts for 70's / 80's choreography.
They are very different things.
