Played both The Last Of Us 2 and Ghost Of Tsushima and I can say that my man Jin Sakai got robbed.
Me too. I lean towards TLOU2 but I do agree that GOT should've at least won the Action Adventure game of the year.
At least with God of war and Eldon ring in both were incredibly good games, that both deserved it and neither one deserved it more, this on the other hand was just a robbery.

And what's awesome about the game is there's more than enough in the base game to justify the 60 dollar price tag and you don't feel like you absolutely need the DLC. You just get more cool stuff if you get it. That's DLC done right.

One of my favorite things about this game too, which I think fits with the theme of the video perfectly, is the fact that as you progress you become more likely to just straight up scare enemies off. You can pull off these crazy battles, and they know, so it's not uncommon to have guys just say, "nope," and run off after watching you wipe out all of their buddies 😂
I loved that shit too. It reminded me back in MGS V when you could listen in on Guard Outposts and they would *_talk_* about the things you were doing. How scared of you they were.
Or in the Arkham games when you’re listening in on inmates talk about how the one dude that thinks he can take on Batman is an idiot, or how terrifying their bosses, the psycho super villains, are. Really brings that feeling of “oh these guys are just guys doing jobs or living their lives, and they CLEARLY didn’t sign up for this”. Makes games feel more human

Like what the fuck? It wasn't even the player's choice, you're forced to let them live, it's the stupidest way to force the message of "revenge is wrong" ever. Shit, MGR did a better job of showing how revenge twists a character, and it was half parody!
The combat was bog-standard 3rd person cover shooter, foraging and crafting had really nothing to make it fresh, and no one particularly appreciated the creators using LGBT characters as a shield against criticism then accusing people who don't like the subpar story of being homophobes and bigots.
Terrible game? Definitely not. Deserving of Game of the Year? Never.

It really is one of the best games I've played. Like me I prefer the more Assassin's Creed style ambush tactics so one of my favorite things to do was to find enemy Patrols throughout the landscape walking in groups of five or six at a time.
Then I would set a trap for them, hit them with an explosive as well as smoke grenade to shroud the area and just start chain assassinating everything while they were stunned and blind. By the time the smoke cleared the whole group would be dead and I would be gone stealth into the bushes or something.
So to an observer it would look like a whole column of enemy soldiers died in a puff of smoke with no one even touching them
@@briandurio6479That's the thing. This game offers you every style of play. You can be the ghost and silently take everyone off or you can be the samurai you want to and fuck everyone up. And the game makes sure you feel powerful and good while doing it.

When I platinumed the game, I went around with a towel around my waist and a basket on my head and used the sword kit that looks like a block of wood that you get from the duels, I also put on some extra terror charms. I did it so when enemies ran away, I’d let them live and tell the tale of the guy who ran at a camp of mongols wearing a towel and basket and full on wiped them all without being hit once. God damn I love this game.

Honestly, this is really funny and interesting when you think about it. The people in charge of the Mongol Invasion must’ve been so fucking confused with the conflicting reports. One day you get a messenger talking about some super samurai butchering one of your supply transports, murdering bears, and Generals. Then you get reports of a phantom assassin taking out entire camps under the cover of night. That’s probably not even taking into consideration damage the allies you recruit are likely doing.
The ending is all of us.

Probably one of the best things about wind stance is when a Spearman is about to attack if you press triangle you will automatically counter him but it has to have a certain upgrade to do that
That auto counter makes it the best stance except for ghost
