Carrie - these wonderful 10 minute lessons working on specific steps are SO good. While an entire routine can be a little overwhelming at times for my group, these Little Lessons are perfect for snapping us to attention, focusing on what you do, forgetting your clever slow but sure rate of tempo increase, and scoring encouraging results for ourselves after just 10 minutes. One of our ladies thought she needed to take notes for every step she learned, but there's no time for that with these - and she astounded herself and all of us with her mastery of a pattern with nary a note. What a Deal! 🤩Thank you so much.
Just started tapping at a studio but everyone has been taking lessons for a while. I need the basics and these are excellent! Clear, slow instructions that built on at a reasonable rate for me!! Thank you!
I so love this one! I am definitely try this out tomorrow. I can never say this enough, I love your mini combinations. They are the ones you feel like you just want to jump up and do!
@@BeginnerDanceTutorials ok thanks,my teacher ask us to learn what the difference between a paddle and paradiddle is so do you know it’s ok if you don’t tho 😁
I teach that a ‘paddle’ has 2 sounds (dig, brush) and the ‘paddle and roll’ or ‘paradiddle’ has 4 sounds (dig, brush, step, heel). Just know that tap terminology can vary, so if your teacher teaches it differently, definitely go with whatever they teach. 🙂
