@@JusttMiike Yes, why's that' such a surprise? I Played football until my late 30's but never worked out, drank too much and stayed up too late! Wish I'd put the effort in when I could play a bit but never fit and strong enough to play at a better standard. I've never been terribly overweight but it was creeping up and after a bit of a heart scare I decided I wanted to be around a lot longer to enjoy life with my wife and kids. I started with the Joe Wicks recipe books (still eat what I want mind you) and despite thinking Joe might be a bit irritating, I found these videos and the inspiration I needed. I'm back playing over 35's veterans football and can promise you I've never felt in better shape. I'm actually pretty proud of myself for keeping it going 5 evenings a week and I hope many others have benefited from this brilliant resource and I'm happy to say Joe isn't irritating at all! I didn't think I had it in me to be honest but have found all the variation I needed to keep it interesting. I own a skipping rope and 2 dumbbells and It's all I've needed. Hope that satisfies your curiosity.

Great new workout. Given the acoustics of the attic gym, it’s quite hard to hear, so a slightly more robust mic set up would make things loads clearer!

Another great one, Joe! 💪🏻 Do you think you could give alternative moves for those who struggle now and again? My knees are a bit weak from a couple of injuries so instead of reverse lunges, I go for lateral. When you do explosive squats, you usually say “if you can’t do that, just do standard squats..” which is great. For the harder moves like the last one of the set in this vid, what would be a good alternative? Giving options would be so so helpful - ones that use the same muscle groups and achieve the same results X
Lee Johnston I’ve tried 🙈🙈 I just don’t have the strength in them at the mo. Or the balance. One of the two! I can do squats, weighted squats, the lot. But lunges are so tough for me 🤷🏻♀️

My daily workout is 40 mins and consists of 30 mins solid weights and then the remaining 10 doing 60 sit ups, 60 leg raises and 30 squats. Is this sufficient if it’s maintained each day?

Use whatever weight you are comfortable with. The aim here is not to use a heavy weight but one you can do all the reps with. I have a lighter pair for the third round if I'm feeling too fatigued.
Over the last 7 months I’ve come from 15 min hiit, worked up to 20, then 30. This was my first time adding dumbells.... I should of started at 15 min dumbell hiit haha! Got through it tho- but I’m bucketsssss of sweat! Thanks Joe!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

You could easily put this together yourself by doing 2/3 workouts back to back

Do the reverse lunges without the weights. Go lighter on tougher exercises

When I've been feeling wobbly doing lunges I often hold onto the side of the sofa or something for stability

You would need to progressively increase your rep targets for situps, leg raises and squats if you want the most impact from these exercises.
