How long does the battery last which is better to start out with washing just houses that softwash or pressure washer
@@user-nb6kp4bp1s it doesn't have a battery. Gotta buy a deep cycle and keep it charged
Good luck in your new business. That little setup from northern tool will make you a decent amount! I retired from the cleaning business two years ago after 45 years in business. While I did buy from the manufacturers, I mostly built my own equipment. In recent years soft washing has become very popular. I was soft washing back in the seventies using a pool pump. It is so much easier today, in fact I am thinking of going back into business!
the cleaning business is very satisfying and it can pay very well.always remember to treat your customers with the utmost respect and speak from a point of knowledge. Happy cleaning!!!
Are you consulting the up and coming folks. I need to talk to you.
You should get back into the business. We need you.
Good advice. I just started my business in Greensboro, NC. Frank’s pressure washing on FB & IG. I plan on doing this for years to come.
@@rahn6869 I don't get on here much but when I do I always try to give good simple advise. Even though I'm not in the business anymore, I still learn different techniques! There are some very humble people in the business and are always willing to help others. You'll know who they are by how they respond to your questions! Learn as much as you can. Treat your customers like gold ...they sign your paycheck! Happy cleaning 😉
@@firstclassfrank Good luck in your new venture and provide timely service with a smile.
That's bad ass, this is exactly what I need to get me going more efficient on roof Washing. Thanks for this video man
I'm in the same boat. Just starting out and that is on my list. I'll upgrade next summer when able. Being that I'm in a northern climate I'll be acquiring the necessities over the winter for that portion of my business. Thanks for the videos and much luck to you.
You have come a long way brother. we all started out like this and man I am sure glad it's over. now we both are a full-service company with all the good tools. Get after it.
About to start my own pressure washing side hustle. This helps a lot. Thanks.
Hell yeah man Everybody starts somewhere then continue leveling up
Just bought this, literally testing it out today. Thanks for the video!
Nathan Young right on
Got mines in three days. Best costumer service I’ve ever experienced.
Good stuff Kyle, focus on you man, nobody cares, at the end of the day...you started your own business, and that takes guts, bro.
GOD BLESS you and best wishes. Thank you for sharing this video
Thanks dude appreciate you man. A man’s gotta do what he has to, until he can do what he wants to. Thanks again for sharing. Stay real!!!!
I dont have one but i have been checking that one out in a couple of videos .
I think is simple and easyer to use than to carry all the tanks and plumbing in the truck, thanks for the video .
Great info. Straight to the point and well articulated. I'm in the same boat;just starting out. Luckily I have a Northern Tool nearby and can go pick one up.
Do it man your good,NEVER GIVE UP, Failure is a part of success, get it bud.
Great info. Scott! Keep the videos coming!
Looks amazing boss! Keep up the great work 👍
I think you made a great decision. I am saving up for one myself
Scott, thanks a million brother. This thing looks great. I’m going to get one as well.
And less then 2 years later you have skid already amazing work
Google is watching me. I just added this to my cart today on northern tool for $529. And your video was the first suggestion. I wish it was still $400. Looking forward to starting out next week.
I've been looking into the whole softwash/pressure cleaning business in Australia for a couple of years now. The whole covid dilemma an a number of other issues has put a downer on it but i was looking at the bigger skids and the costs are to high for myself being a startup. So I'm going to purchase one of those from northern tools in the states an start offering friends and family freebies then create a facebook page to advertise an go from that.
Awesome video. I was just looking at that setup.
Nice little system! I might pick upbone of those. I currently have one step down from that with a 5 gallon bucket and i downstream with my 4gpm power washer. I have to lug that bucket around with 10 feet of hose, so my setup is super inefficient. That system has a pretty small footprint, it's effective, and it is a good step in the right direction. Thanks for sharing!
That's How I'm Getting Started! Good Luck👍🇺🇸
Felipe Ibarra awesome go for it
thats good bro because the systems I see don't really look safe with wire , battery, and water everywhere this is safe , professional. and effective
Thank you for the video! Great job and you’re going to be a big success! Do some more videos on that Northstarsoft wash system I want to buy one.
I yeah purchased this did two houses for a client and he liked may work so much he gave 50 of his rental units to clean.
Nothing wrong with that brother, shit I started with a backpack pump and a power washer..haha, laugh all you want that set up out over 15g in my pocket in one summer.. Now I'm running with two 60 gal tanks in my van ,, two pumps and two power washers . Don't really need a bigger set up if I'm being honest..Almost exclusively residential.. Bro you don't need a whole lot more to MAKE MONEY.. That's a great start plenty to get going..
Great video Scott. Be very cautious with chemicals such as sodium hydrochloride and over spray as liability is a big risk. Also PPE is something you need to go all out with. Keep up the great work
AW Services yep. Already got it covered thanks
I just started my pressure washing company last October with FedEx fleet now getting into houses shit man thanks for that I’m going to order it
Love your videos man, just spent the last hour and a half watching every single one of them. My fiance and I are considering starting our own window and power cleaning business and your content has been extremely helpful. I hope this coronavirus stuff hasn't hurt your business too much these last few weeks. I'm looking forward to more of your videos, stay healthy and well buddy.
Mike Fit wow thank y’all! Go for it. I highly recommend doing a roof washing business. Very lucrative but be sure to get the training.....
I bought this as a homeowner and put it together yesterday after getting a quote for $1200 for soft washing one of my vacation rental houses. $419 on sale plus $79 battery and chemical, it will pay for itself twice after the first use. I have 3 houses to keep bright and clean including my own, so this is a real no brainer.
Thanks!
Ps: I may even offer to wash some neighbor’s roofs and siding to actually reimburse myself for the machine once I get a little practice in!
Nice house man that little pond is great
that's exactly what I need man
Nice system...itll get er done
Hey man love this video, happy for you
Thanks
Watching an old video and watched a new one earlier. You definitely upgraded :)
Love it
Been looking for something like this thx
Definitely gonna look into getting one of those!
Nicholas Jones let me know how ya likenit
Just subbed. Look forward to your journey. Keep the vids coming.
Rahn thanks man
Good buy bro 👍💪💯 I'm on a budget myself and I think I might get something like this
Awesome brother
Cheapest way that is still efficient is to get a 7 gallon pump a 200’ hose and a 55 gallon drum batch mix and build a trailer on the side. The little system will work but be very slow.
Great Video. Thanks
You good man, got to start somewhere, that’s great
Jamie Silmon exactly
Scott...keep up the effort...to overcome the tank size problem.pick up a 20 or thirty gallon blue barrel batch mix it..for the job then use it to fill the smaller Tank..hope this helps...
edward yack I just put a 55 gallon drum on there. Will be building a blend system soon
I work for ground(tractor side). You wouldn't believe the back loads we had at that time. Looking to get in the business as well.
I have a 4 gallon backpack style tank with a hand pump, it gets the job done and that's all that matters, it cost $20, and it's first job paid for itself 10 fold. You don't need the most fancy setups to make money. The only thing the more expensive setups do, is help you be more efficient.
Don’t let it leak on your back
I have one on the way.
Thanks for the video
Vicky Allen awesome let me know how it works
I've been thinking about getting this for a while. It's great for the houses you clean. Possibly even a wood deck if you're just removing mold and mildew. Another option is to buy your own water tank, hose, and pump and assemble it yourself. I'm not that savvy, so I will have to buy the same system you did. But if you know what you're doing, it would only cost about 200-300.
Mike Brown yep. I’m gonna get a bigger 12v system with possibly a booster pump
been thinking about pulling the trigger on this thing for awhile to start out. Thx for the detailed review!/
Micah Pro stay tuned, gonna make a full video tomorrow on a roof clean
you doing it the right way those big rigs can go as high 50k go make that money and thanks for sharing
great system
Thank you for the video. I'm looking to buy one these coming up. God bless you
Daniel Williams it’s good man
Scott Cleans It could you shoot me email address daniel@readytocleansc.com
Yes love it… I need to order mines I’m using a Xjets M5 it’s good just have to us a 5 gallon bucket
Good thing it comes with another pump.... youre gonna need it.
Cost about the same to build one depending on the size tank you want and type of battery. I like that one for reason of being able to move it easy
I bought the Northern tool soft wash system. I paid $499 +$35 shipping I wish I would of seen it before for $399 oh well its supposed to be here on the 9th-13th. Can't wait. I'll use it for putting chem on soft washing vinyl siding and my 1800 Ryobi pressure washer to rinse off. Should be fine!
D Buk awesome man
👍👍 I’m going to buy one of those too.
Robert Hadley you’ll like it
I think I’m going to get one soon☺️
AWESOME
This is the exact system I started with. It does well if that’s all you got, but I upgraded to a 100 gallon chem tank with a 5.5 everflow with 200ft of 1/2” hose. I still batch mix, but only one time for a 4500sqft roof or smaller. I got sick of having to refill that 13 gallon pump. I do still use that system for small driveways and sidewalks, but not anything where I need to keep making new batches. That bleach pump is good pump though.
Nice I’m going to a blend system
Can I add 200 feet of hose to this 13 gallon tank and roof pump? Well I lose any pressure on the line?
Nice... thanks
ya man i think u did good im right were u are just starting out but all the home work ive done it seems to be a good system
Dam good job I'm getting that shit thank you
You did good, no matter what people say you should feel good. I had a 5.5gpm but needed a decent size chem tank. Didn’t have much work, but didn’t want the back and forth getting chemicals. So I got a northern tool 26 gal hold tank that came with a 2.2gpm pump. So now I use the 2.2gpm after filling tank. in my garage I have a 55 gal drum so pump the Chem into 55 with the small pump and use the big one for jobs 💪🏾🫡
Good job
You sir are making dreams become a reality
Trying
Yo that shit would get you by for sure. I hate having to hunt down the easy path because it’s always expensive but I have a herniated lumbar disc and shit. That shit is clean tho and I have a buddy for help so we can make it. Not dropping out of business school yet though lol.
I don’t have one yet The extra pump is a big Plus 🎉
I think you did good 👍
Good starter system, no shame! One to keep always for outdoor areas within a building structure like a plaza or just to do spot jobs. You'll want to grow into a larger system ASAP. Especially if you do really good work because the referrals will roll in. Nothing worse than getting flooded with work and not having the gear to keep up.
Alexis Zumbado I’m seeing that already
@@ScottCleansIt keep it up brother!
Im doing my homework now. Thinking bout starting a pressure washing side business. Thanks for vid. Good luck
@@vn3946 why you say that?
@@vn3946 what seems to be issue? Weather? Covid?
@@vn3946 thanks for insight. Really appreciate it
I know this sounds weird but you’re an inspiration to keep pushing forward when times of struggles come so please keep moving forward and growing! May God continue to bless you! Also is this not a good choice for using to wash/ detail cars fully mobile?
Caleb Mc thanks a ton! We will
I'm about to buy one why not lol
sweet system i am going to buy one be safe
The American dream two guys view it will work good for you
Yes you did make the last decision
don't feel bad man... I'm still rocking a 4 gal backpack sprayer for my chemical lol
Rock on!!
Just stumbled on this video. I built my whole truck from a budget and a little horse trading. Craigslist and Marketplace are amazing at what deals you can find. That’s where I looked for a bigger tank. Now have entirely too many 🤘🏼That unit is an absolute good deal. 2 pumps, hose, and gun, for 4 Benjamin’s... absolute no brainer.. and what’s the big trailer I spied in the garage?!
Mike G that’s the money maker lol
Gotcha 😂 roof washing is the best bang for the buck I do! Love it. Be careful up there. Might want to look into putting a little accumulator tank on it. Helps with pump pulsing. Check out P Tek. I myself am getting ready to get another one. Rock it man 🤘🏼
That is a cool little setup though.
Good. Job
That system is good to start with
JAYSETD & Family I agree
Scott Cleans It subscribe to the channel
very good man, I have the same thing for my soft wash, is very good the only thing is we have to make a lot of batches to finish the job but is a good starting set up.
Cabinho Cruz agreed
Alex Fang I have a video on my channel
I recently sold this soft wash system and decided to get a 5.5 gpm pump and 200ft ag hose, using temporarily a garden hose reel and making my mix on a 55 gal barrel. Time saver
Ubaldo Mayoral nice!!! My next will be gas powered system
Scott Cleans It one of those air systems? We have a guy here in Houston, Doug Rocker he sells those systems for $1999 I believe.
Cool man, thinking of purchasing one here soon. Let us know how it works for you out in the field
Anthony San Paolo will do. So far it’s been great just needs some longer hose
Can’t find your link for this system, did a quick google search, the price jumped up to $549 since the 2 years ago you posted this. Crazy, appreciate ya
Thanks for the video I’m also starting out on a budget as well. I was looking at this soft ash system as well.
Churchill Coins it’s a great starter kit
@@ScottCleansIt can you give me alink so i can get it shiped to uk?
Earn On The Go I don’t have any idea how to do that. Amazon has it
@@ScottCleansIt yea of course I just though maybe you know a business that could sell it to me
Earn On The Go have you tried northern tool?
I just bought it yesterday. Its now $499. I also got the damage warranty, the fittings to make the gun detachable, and the battery im over $700 in. Was not what I was expecting but its still about a 1k less than any other pre built system, which also require separate tank(s). Using it for the first time today.
That’s one or 2 house washes and it’s paid back
@@ScottCleansIt already paid for its self. Super greatful for your sharing of knowledge. Its putting my family and I in a better situation for long term. Thank you sir!
@@bladeportaledc good to hear that
@@bladeportaledchey just wondering how it went? I see it’s been 2 years haha was thinking of getting this
I’m curious to see how long the battery lasts on a job. Nice set up!
My system came in last week..Tried it out on a job and was awesome..I unplug my battery after each use.. Brought the trickle charger but didn't use it yet.
Corey Broussard awesome bro!! I’m loving mine too
Keep it small efficient inexpensive
If you compare between a trailer soft wash system and a portable, same amount of work involved?
It's good start man IAM getting one
Robert Geiter awesome let me know what ya think
I will I also Will a unboxing when it arrives
I literally had the same thing happen to me with a northern tool tank washer. Shipped then suddenly lost. Sounds like a northern tool trend
i cant get one shiped to uk.. im trying to make one my self, but i cant get the containers, can someone please give me web where i can buy one? and get it shiped?
Good luck from the uk bro....
CLEAN-N-CLEAR WINDOWS PATIO/DRIVE CLEANING thanks!!!!!
I'm about to start my business as well. This is on my list once I get some jobs coming in...
You can build a better system
For same oroce
@@ScottCleansIt yeah I've thought about it....I think this is a decent entry level machine then I can build a better one as the business grows.
I got the same unit one week after it was on sale for $300, so I had to pay $500 for it at Northern Tool. Took a while to find a chemical supply company that has SH, but I finally found that also. Was surprised how cheap it was, two dollars a gallon for SH. Thanks to Scott for telling me how to get the SH, because I couldn’t find it online anywhere.
Where did you find your sh?
@@ethantinnin4713 any local pool chemical supply store. If you don’t have one, grab gallons of pool shock from Walmart. 😁
@@davidbrucemusicvideo awesome, I’ve been doing it wrong for so long, power washing houses…. This soft wash is really making my life so much easier. I recently bid on 6 brick apartments and this is going to make it a breeze! Setup: Hosty 1250, northern tool gas diaphragm pump for chem.
@@ethantinnin4713 awesome! When I first looked into doing this business, I bought a very good expensive pressure washer, and now I barely use it because I mainly doing soft washing! By the way, I didn’t understand your last two sentences. Can you clarify please?
How do you mix the chemical and with what? Obviously bleach then what? If use 6 gallons of bleach do you use 6 gallons of water since it’s 13 gallon tank?
Which battery did you get for your your's and where?
Mine came in a few days ago but it didn’t come with a battery and I didn’t read the fine print, what battery did you order Scott and did you get the battery from northern tool?
I don't have a system but I am going to get the one you just bought.
I don’t have this system anymore
This probably a dumb question but anyway can you use a soft wash machine for auto car washing also???
