Nice video, sir. Thanks.
You should consider a small set of constant lights for that room so the details are clearer on video. The natural light isn't enough.
I have fixed lights but probably need brighter ones, or different camera settings. Still trying to nail it!
Thanks for the review. For my personal preference, the jacket seems a tiny little bit too tight though. The lapel shouldnt have a sharp bend a the chest, which is an indicator that it’s possibly to thigh around the chest area. I also only learned this after buying multiple suits ;)
That tuxedo looks awesome, as you!
Amazing as always!🤵🏻🙌🏻
Tbh this is my New favorite UA-cam channel now! 😩. Even tho I'm too poor for the clothes you review 🤣.
This is impressively well fitted! I think it was really great for not sending any measurements!
I was missing the MTM and Custom suiting videos. I will definitely be considering trying out this out within the next 2 months.
I know, working on some things but how many suits can I have!!
Love the tux
I tried Hall Madden after you recommended them and now I'm trying Lords of Wool for the same reason :)
Hello, did you ever end up trying Lords of Wool? I am curious as I can't find any other information about them online.
It's very nice that they sent 3 different sized try on garments.
I love your videos!
Enjoyable presentation. Seems as time goes by, more MTM suiting options. Maybe one day be more made in the West, especially USA.
Website is useful as a soggy noodle for a tailor's tape. Why can't they be normal and let you see and choose fabrics?
Hello, UA-cam Inspector here again. It’s been 5 months since the last underwear review, any longer and we’ll have to hit you with a $2,000 fine.
I'm just a little slow. If I can stick to schedule it will be 9/13
The Kavalier when will the video come about why you like briefs more than boxers?
@UA-cam Inspector....are you a little bit koomsi koomsa?
Judge Virulence no i’m just interested because I almost can’t imagine why you would like briefs more than boxers, but that’s my opinion so I would like to hear why he think it’s better.
Judge Virulence sorry tought it was for me
I get all my suits made by Ralph Lauren made-to-measure, and have for years and years. It is well worth the extra money, in that I have worn some of those suite for 25 years and they still look amazing. IMHO, is is very risky to do any MTM suiting online. You must have multiple fittings with a tailor who knows your body and with whom you can meet in person and start a relationship. When I was first starting out, I couldn’t afford it, but I did it anyway - to get the ball rolling. Now, that I own 30 custom suits from RL, the process gets easier and easier over the years. It’s not about money. it’s always about quality and more importantly, FIT, even if you can only afford one suit and you have to save up to buy it.
Yes fit and experience are key! I hope to bring more guys into that understanding through these videos and discover it myself. Bespoke isn't overpriced... just expensive 😄
The Kavalier With respect, always remember that there is a big difference between expensive and costly. Expensive is money paid for value not received. Costly is just costly. I own several bespoke RL suits that retailed for more than $5000, but thru knowing when to buy, being willing to wait, and cultivating relationships, I have procured many wonderful pieces for less than the wholesale cost of the cloth. I hope that you will use your channel to educate young guys that even if you have to save up for six months to buy a good piece, it is worth it in the end.
Would you recommend a Bonobo suit or an iTailor suit. I’m nervous on investing in a more expensive online mtm suit having never done it before. OR, should I jut save up and get a Lords of Wool? I’d love to hear thoughts. Really enjoying the channel!
There is never rest, from true elegance.
Looking Sharp.
Wow beautifull fabric😍😍😍If they still are wondering about who that shall play the next James Bond film after Danil Craig they havent seen you😉😉
How would you rank Lords of Wool against Lanieri and Oliver Wicks? Which one would you consider the best out of those three? Thank you.
Good video! you need more light.
Not in the market for super dressy but I've gotta say you look damned fine in all of these. One of these companies needs to snatch you up to model their products for their own ads. :)
have you tried Black Lapel? I have good results with their suit. not sure about their shirt tho.
I’m going Lords of Wool. I’ve been looking for Harris tweed three piece suits. You have three categories that never get checked all at once: a good price, small size options, genuine Harris tweed/high quality tweed. It seems these guys have what I’m looking for.
Did you end up ordering? How was your experience? Looking to order a Tux for a wedding.
How do you think the fabric/quality compare to the J. Crew Ludlow Tuxedo?
Do you have an opinion on the 1K MTM suits from Suit Supply?
Could you try out the Tom ford mtm suits? Not a single video on it at all on youtube?!
I'll need to do a kickstarter to afford one! 🤪
How does it compare to the Lanieri suits you have?
How does this compare to black lapel? would you say lords of wool would be the better option?
Hello! how does this compare to Bonobos suits? Material? Fit? Etc.
For a suit (not tux) which do you recommend, Oliver Wicks or Lords of Wool or Enzo Customs?
How would you compare this service to Oliver Wicks in terms of fabric, construction, and service?
You don't get the same heritage mills as Oliver Wicks but I'd say otherwise identical quality on the suit
Great review. How would you compare their suits to Black Lapel?
I am very curious about this as well and I'm kind of torn between lords of wool and black lapel
Seeing as Black Lapel's website is offline I guess there's no real comparison anymore
@@The_Kavalier Ok last one what are your thoughts about Oliver Wick?
i'm confused, I pay for the suit and then I get fabric samples and MayBe I find what what I want ?
do they work with people worldwide? sparse website. how come we can't input exact measurements we want on the site?
Do you have a link for the bowtie?
What maroon pants did you have on when you were unboxing the try ons?
Jomers! Video on channel earlier this year
I bought some $85 black leather Chelsea boots from Samuel Windsor they are Italian leather apparently, I wanted to know your opinion of them.
Have had a tab open on Samuel Windsor for almost a year. Should order!
@@The_Kavalier Awesome! Hope to see that soon!
At a height of 6'8, I find that not a lot of these services offer anything in my size. I have to go full bespoke...
can you edit the details of the suit such as pockets etc
Yes but not online the same way you can with the other online services. Might have to be done via text. They say they can match a style based on photo
How do they compare to Oliver Wicks?
Do they offer high rise pants? Prefer the pants going to the navel rather then the jacket button. This is my main issue with m2m programs.
Still waiting for the complete luxury sneaker guide on your website! It's been almost a year :'(
Made big moves this week. Coming with even more models shortly! Promise!
Would you recommend this or Suit supply mtm service?
I haven't tried the SS online only MTM yet but their in store MTM service started at $1K+ so it would be this
Can you review salvatore ferragamo oxford shoes?👞👞👞👞Please Please
I try to stay just under the luxury category with products that still have that level of quality just less upcharge for the brand
Studiosuits any time soon?
Yup!
Hi Jon👋
Hey Kent!
My fiance is look for a suit for our wedding. Unfortunately, I am allergic to wool. Do you have any recommendations for alternatives?
Are you sure it is a lanolin allergy rather than irritation caused by coarseness?
Plenty of other options. Silk can be quite formal depending on the weave and mix (for example silk velvet). Cotton and linen are casual though wrinkle easily. This do better than I can: bespokeunit.com/suits/fabrics/.
A slight longer jacket is preferable for taller spiky guys. This one is ok
Do they have working buttonholes?
First suit ordered won’t come with working buttonholes in case the sizing is wrong unless requested via text. Any suit ordered after will
Lords of Wool or Oliver Wicks?
Tough call. Really like this process. If you were a stickler for the fabric source it would be Oliver Wicks. This is an easier, painless process to get a good fit. Can't go wrong there!
Too short, too tight.
He normally does the no-break look, so it's 100% not too short if that's what you are going for.
@@historyaha This would still be the best fitting tux at most events 😜
Too tight, per usual.
Yes...The "X" around the button is quite obvious.
@@johnnyryu9207 Call me Mr. Craig 😜
I second that. I'm not trying to be overly negative, but besides the x-wrinkles that "wheat beer glass"-shaped break on the lapels gives the whole outfit that prom feel. The make of that tux is too nice for that - and you are too much of a grown up for that, too. I would certainly make the transition from slim fit (most of the time aka ill fit) to a more substantial fit that holds its shape, even when you take a sip or walk down a hallway. Otherwise great video and a good recommendation. I'll shortlist those guys. :)
