Thing I love about big players like Crocodile and Jozu fighting each other is that they're all perfectly aware that they can't underestimate each other too much. When against Strawhats, they're so cocky and always let their guard down, thinking they're invincible. But when they are fighting others they know are strong, they actually start thinking of how to fight.
Crocodile was super cocky because he had the entire desert at his disposal and was super confident for being a Warlord whose activity was not known to the World government yet. The fact that Crocodile lost his hand against Whitebeard is more proof of his cockiness.
Croc is weak. Stronger than Moria perhaps but still weak. Now yes, he beat Luffy fair and square before Robin saved him. But in the end, he did lose to a no name rookie in his own backyard 🤷. Who knows? If jozu really tried, he may be able to escape the strings. Plus, if Jozu went diamond mode, doffy wouldn’t be able to damage him. Jodi’s specialty would be durability and toughness. If he uses Armament Haki along with diamond, you’d probably need admiral level slashes to damage him. Him being highly resistant to attacks doesn’t mean he would be able to overpower them. It’s all about the toughness of his armour, not about his strength or offensive power. I mean, Jozu is strong, but his strength probably is a lot less than his durability.

Lalit Kumar we dont rly know how awakenings work yet we only saw awakened zoans and doflamingo but we cant tell if every paramecia awakening is the same yet, also they are different kind of paramecias because doflamingo could produce strings not turn his body into strings like jozu with diamond and doflamingos awakening caused him to be able to turn objects into strings but we cant expect jozus awakening to have the same effect i guess
and people think sanji's is far behind luffy because doffy incapacitated him, when even Jozu, who's near admiral level, can't even force his way through the same technique that incapacitated sanji... which means only means to negate that technique is to not get hit by it in the first place, in which sanji had no intel of doffy's power, to know what to dodge in the first place.
Zach Adam Jozu was one of the physically strongest people at Marineford and very few people there can actually harm Jozu because he fights with Diamond (one of the hardest materials in OP) enhanced by his strong Haki. One of the few people who could counter was Aokiji who could freeze someone with a simple touch. Jozu was fighting Aokiji evenly (and was arguably superior to Aokiji in strength) until he got distracted by WB's collapse n he left an opening for Aokiji to freeze him. And that was the only injury he took in the whole war.
After Arabasta, Crocodile became my favorite villian from the series, but after Marine Ford he's one of my favorite characters, specially after how he saved Ace to mock the government and give the middle finger to Mingo

I just refuse to believe right now that Luffy & Law are even on the same level as Jozu no where near stronger. I acknowledge Luffy & Law are powerful pirates but let's be honest Jozu has been fighting across the New World for over a decade now. The only reasonable thing that I can think of on how Doffy stopped Jozu and not Luffy & Law is that the trick to resist Doflamingo's parasite string is to not get hit by it in the first place Luffy and Law were going toe to toe with Doflamingo, meaning he was their main focus. Jozu on the other hand was focusing on Crocodile & nothing else. That's the only logical explanation that I can give.
Luffy and Law are stonger than jozu. It dosen't matter about experience, luffy beats people way more experienced than him all the time. Jozu was only the 3rd commander, he wasn't meant to be admiral level or anything. Of course it would be a close fight but luffy law would win.
Crocodile is the most underrated Shichibukai 💯 (then Jimbei, then Hancock, then Law). People seem to have this misconception that all Logias are completely helpless to an Armament Haki user, forgetting that Crocodile is a New World veteran. He clearly demonstrated Haki is nothing he can't handle
On the contrary, he's actually one of the most popular of the warlords even to this day. The fact that he was able to hold his own against the likes of Doflamingo and Mihawk does speak volumes about his strength though, even if they weren't quite going all out against him

People need to realize that Dofla could control hundreds of people with his strings and still fight without distraction. Yet here hes probably using all his focus to restrain Jozu which is why he doesn't do anything except talk to Croc. Just sayin Jozu is hella strong. How many strings are holding him, I wonder.

Plus, if Jozu went diamond mode, doffy wouldn’t be able to damage him. Jodi’s specialty would be durability and toughness. If he uses Armament Haki along with diamond, you’d probably need admiral level slashes to damage him.
Him being highly resistant to attacks doesn’t mean he would be able to overpower them. It’s all about the toughness of his armour, not about his strength or offensive power.
I mean, Jozu is strong, but his strength probably is a lot less than his durability.

mr rem he already has, he no-diffed sheepshead, a big shot of kaido's crew, he's the "headliner" of one of the 2 division of kaido.
Jozu was fighting equally with Aokiji before he got distracted. Sheepshead is fodder. Sanji sucks even now.
Zach Adam Jozu was one of the physically strongest people at Marineford and very few people there can actually harm Jozu because he fights with Diamond (one of the hardest materials in OP) enhanced by his strong Haki. One of the few people who could counter was Aokiji who could freeze someone with a simple touch. Jozu was fighting Aokiji evenly (and was arguably superior to Aokiji in strength) until he got distracted by WB's collapse n he left an opening for Aokiji to freeze him. And that was the only injury he took in the whole war.

There's a string control coming to admiral fujitorah but he just catch it before it stuck to his head. You will see it in the anime when doffy controls the citizens of dressrosa
I just refuse to believe right now that Luffy & Law are even on the same level as Jozu no where near stronger. I acknowledge Luffy & Law are powerful pirates but let's be honest Jozu has been fighting across the New World for over a decade now. The only reasonable thing that I can think of on how Doffy stopped Jozu and not Luffy & Law is that the trick to resist Doflamingo's parasite string is to not get hit by it in the first place Luffy and Law were going toe to toe with Doflamingo, meaning he was their main focus. Jozu on the other hand was focusing on Crocodile & nothing else. That's the only logical explanation that I can give.

Luffy and Law are stonger than jozu. It dosen't matter about experience, luffy beats people way more experienced than him all the time. Jozu was only the 3rd commander, he wasn't meant to be admiral level or anything. Of course it would be a close fight but luffy law would win.

Crocodile is the most underrated Shichibukai 💯 (then Jimbei, then Hancock, then Law).
People seem to have this misconception that all Logias are completely helpless to an Armament Haki user, forgetting that Crocodile is a New World veteran. He clearly demonstrated Haki is nothing he can't handle
On the contrary, he's actually one of the most popular of the warlords even to this day. The fact that he was able to hold his own against the likes of Doflamingo and Mihawk does speak volumes about his strength though, even if they weren't quite going all out against him

They both chose to take easy paths but they do differ somewhat. Crocodile chose to be a big fish in a small pond while Moria opted to try to become the king by letting others do his dirty work for him, with both plans ending up backfiring on them
