@@tapioka7294 I don't think Roger protected the CD. If I recall, Sengoku said Garp was protecting them and that to fulfill this mission he sided with Roger against Rocks. I don't recall Sengoku saying Roger was helping.
Idk what Roger was seeking but I think he saw Rocks as more dangerous than the CD and Holy Knights.

@@hellshing4866 A means to and end. It's no different then what BB is doing by collecting strong comrades. It doesn't mean that that the "end" has to be evil. At the end of the day..............I doubt Rocks and crew were there to kill slaves. They were there to overthrow the CD. Roger and Garp protected that system by getting in between.

You see,most of the Rocks crew hate each other,so during the Battle of God Valley,Everyone left Rocks to die.So thats how the Rocks pirates are disbanded.
