He’ll be back, gotta get rid of that fluttery sound. Too many muffling devices. I have two carven tr’s waiting to be installed my 2500 suburban. I’m going 2.5” true duals with the carven tr’s. That Bronco is a Monster tho!
Yeah, that engine isn't quite ready for prime time. Whoever installed it still has bugs to work out. I also think the exhaust is obnoxious...needs a crossover pipe to tone it down. Nice toy otherwise.
I felt so happy to see this car. I think this is the most gorgeous car that i have seen in this channel. Congrats for the good work you did. Big and loud. Thats a real Bronco!!
Yeah I commented this as well. It sounded so cool and old school muscle-y when the valves were open and I’m curious as to how/why considering it’s still a DOHC engine. Curious to know if I can make my coyote sound like this
I really don't know how people afford projects like this nowadays. I wouldn't be surprised if there is 50k or more in that truck. And you know this isn't the daily driver. Owner's household probably has at least one or two car notes, mortgage, insurance, kids, groceries and whatever else and still has the disposable income to build something like this. I just don't get it.
My grandpa bought a new 79 with a 400m. It had 30 year old glasspacks on it and sidepipes. My buddy bought it about 10 years ago and restored it with a 12 valve Cummins and a 6 speed
Everybody talking about this “GODZILLA” motor 7.3 but real mechanics snd gear heads know what 2 motors FORD built Thst not only breathes better but is a straight animal and sounds better than this with only 2 straights and a dump. A for effort for some novices
Well, if you're gonna run a big block. It should sound like a big block..... If they wanted quiet, they shoulda bought one of those gay ass 4 cylinder Broncos..... 2.7 or some nonsense like that????
Whoever put the exhaust on before you guys did amazing work!. Galvanized painted welds and everything. Top notch. P.S. Those mufflers are AP Xlerators.
Absolutely awesome.. I got a 1990 Ford van with only 50k miles I plan on doing a Godzilla swap on and customize it going back to a 70s style paint and interior scheme! Doing a crown Vic front end swap and 4 link rear. These coyotes and Godzilla engines make unbelievable resto mods . Ford has it in the bag with these engines now, they make these older cars come alive!!
Thanks for the video haven’t seen much on the gas 7.3 it sounds good the way y’all did it but I liked it better the way it was so you could really hear all that power. Anyways just my 2 cent. Thanks again God bless you
This is what Ford should be making with the Bronco, 5.0 and the 7.3.
They did make a 5.0 Bronco, look it up.
@@cesarpalmos8235he probably means the current generation of broncos
@@landis277 Exactly, Ford made a specialty 5.0 Coyote Baja Bronco for $300,000. Look up Bronco DR.
Screw it then, put a gooseneck on that bronco.
Blame half the country that votes for all the crazy EPA garbage.
The owner of this Bronco speaks my language. The year, the engine choice and the build. 👌
I love the truck, but honestly, the exhaust tone can be better. 100% needs an x pipe or h pipe.
just needs some flowmaster super 40s or 10s
Hard to do a true h/x pipe with that transfer case and front drive shaft.
I agree it sounds terrible
needs 8 to 1
@@whatwasthat32698 to 1 what? Compression? That's garbage.
Modern engines need a crossover pipe and this right here is the perfect example of why.
The 7.3 fits the bronco like bread and butter
He’ll be back, gotta get rid of that fluttery sound. Too many muffling devices. I have two carven tr’s waiting to be installed my 2500 suburban. I’m going 2.5” true duals with the carven tr’s. That Bronco is a Monster tho!
It need's a crossover of some sort, and needs to be tuned to fix that surging idle. Otherwise it looks like a super clean swap
Yeah, that engine isn't quite ready for prime time. Whoever installed it still has bugs to work out. I also think the exhaust is obnoxious...needs a crossover pipe to tone it down. Nice toy otherwise.
I'd be leaving those cut-outs open! That's one amazing rig!!! 🤤
Whoever edited this video needs a raise 😂😂😂
This is what Ford should be cranking out instead of this twin turbo 6 cylinder nonsense. Perfect.
They wouldn’t make hand over fist money.
I like the first exhaust, matches better with the overall restoration
Beautiful car inside and out, the blue is beautiful. Along with it sounding great. Great work!
Still sounds like shit just quieter...needs a crossover pipe
Finally, a Bronco restomod that hasn’t been way overdone
I would take that tuck over the new ones. Very nice. Excellent move.
Got Rid Of The Clap
No
Kinda liked the clap. Made it sound a bit meaner. But with the fix it sounds lazy
Depends on what you want. On an old school vehicle a little snap works in my opinion.
It's like antibiotics... for the truck
Best sounding truck you have ever had on the hoist , !
My favorite body style for the broncos..but personally I’m not a fan of the sound,I don’t like the fluttering sound it has now.
Absolutely stellar,,, what a beautiful example of an era gone by.. Thanks for doing your part to keep it alive fellas.... GO EXHAUST ATTICKS
I’ll be swapping my coyote for the megazilla this winter. Good to know what kinda sound I can get out of it
Godzilla killing Tesla, that's about right 😂🤣
I felt so happy to see this car. I think this is the most gorgeous car that i have seen in this channel. Congrats for the good work you did. Big and loud. Thats a real Bronco!!
Very well done still loud, but quieter and a better tone
Needs an X pipe real bad.
Yup and lose those rice resonators. Also a tachometer that works properly.
@@JoeMama-j7sI commented to myself the same thing!
I’m not a ford guy, but dam that’s nice. It’s a perfect blend of old school and new.
Sounds really great with headers and borla pro-xs 💪
Nice bronco , I would have gone with flo master 40.
You _like_ the hollow tin can sound those mufflers produce?
@@iraqifoodcart8447 yes actually
That bronco sounds amazing and Looks amazing wow
That’s a awesome build a perfect Bronco 🔥🔥🔥
Those are not shorty headers at all. Those are factory manifolds. Change the title
The intake filter has no box around it meaning it's sucking in the hot air and dirt from the engine bay.
I think the owner is flying by the seat of his pants.
Sounds like shit probably achieved the same sounds with cherry bomb glass packs
They both sound like garbage. Go with Magnaflow way better everytime
The Godzilla even sounds like a 460 big block to me, it has that old school roar that an LS just doesn’t make.
Yeah I commented this as well. It sounded so cool and old school muscle-y when the valves were open and I’m curious as to how/why considering it’s still a DOHC engine. Curious to know if I can make my coyote sound like this
Wait nvm just found out it’s a OHV pushrod that makes so much more sense lmao
@christybobby7147 yessir it's a old school push rod!
Whata sexy Bronco love the Godzilla killing Tesla 😂😂
This is the baddest bronco ever
Absolutely beautiful!
I predict that the owner will be seriously considering some 1-ton axles in the near future…
That swap must have cost 10 grand. Not worth it imo
Small block turbo would beat that engine in all aspects and cost half the price.
Why would you want to make it quieter? It sounds beautiful.
Why would you want to make it quieter? It sounded beautiful.
I like it. Just wish it stuck to chrome exhaust tips.
Love it. 👊🏻😎🔨Beautiful. Nice work. Sounds great.
sounds good both ways but quieter, it is nice and subtle I like it
Hey EA, Can't find Matko Motors in PA. Not posted yet. Can you post the link for the swap shop? Thanks
I have done lots of swaps but I am just officially starting my own business.. I will have it up and going very soon… thanks
All you had to do was put an h pipe on it n he would've saved like 400. It was so loud n rasp cause it's true dualed.
7.3 Godzilla motor is the best thing ford made.

Sweet 👍 things I wish I never would have gotten rid of! 1978 Bronco, 1970 429 STJ, 4speed,. 4;10-4;09 gears and 36-12.5 super swampers!
I owned a 92 Bronco 5.8 , in 08 when gas became $4 a gallon I let it go now I would love to have it back and plant a 7.3 Godzilla under the hood
@@donniecardwell3786 I still have a 94 with a 5.8, 84 with 4.9, 77 302, 74 302! Kinda like my ponies!!
Nice truck. Love that color.
I liked the before with the crackle sound kinda fits the old school truck
My grandpa bought a new 79 with a 400m. It had 30 year old glasspacks on it and sidepipes. My buddy bought it about 10 years ago and restored it with a 12 valve Cummins and a 6 speed
The 400 is not a M. Only the 351
Flo pro sounded better
Sounded much better before...

That’s a lot of juice for that old rig. Man that thing is nice 🤙🏽🇺🇸
I just bought a ‘78 bronco custom. I was just talking with my BF about swapping for a Godzilla 💖😤
Sorry for the Crap Engine you just installed.. You should have gone with a 429/460, million mile engines. That 7.3L will fail @ 50-70K miles..
Drive it in Alaska!.lol...I lived there 7 years....Alaska will chew that mint truck up. Say goodbye to the windshield and paint.
My thoughts, I would have done the small bullets right before the cut outs. But damn that thing sounds GOOOOD!!!
The 351 some straight backs with some 40 series Flowmasters sounds way better than that. If you're not building your engine you're a chump
Sounds so good
Man, that is a beautiful wagon. Need to fix that spare issue though.
That exhaust sounds horrible, and the Honda civic exhaust tips look awful. That is a big ole bunch of fail right there.
To bad it's a Automatic. My 78 is a 4 speed manual. This 78 is definitely a Badass though.
Too many muffling items in the exhaust. Needs a good h or x pipe and no resonated tips. Nice vehicle but sounds awful.
Ruined it
The Nissan Skyline GTR already took the Godzilla name. 😆 🤦🏽♂️
Whoever put the exhaust on before you guys did amazing work!. Galvanized painted welds and everything. Top notch.
P.S. Those mufflers are AP Xlerators.
Kinda sounds like a waste of money. Two muffler and resonator...then more in tail pipe?? Way to mu h
The restoration on this is impressive. Factory body and paint was not nearly that perfect! Needs to work on idle control.
That's a Beast
🤣 this is the best video you ever made with the random godzilla clips
Just my opinion, but these engines never sound great when compared to older V8s.
BBBBBAAAAADDDDDAAASSSS!
my opinion sounded way better before the exhaust job.
Anyone who would make that quiet, doesnt deserve to own it!!!!!
The city sucks
Best looking ford on the channel so far.
Man, if I was gonna put a 7.3 in a classic bronco it sure wouldn't be a gasser.
Sounds like a whoopie cushion
Don’t like that surging it’s doing.
We are one of the first to have a 2023 engine with the Ford performance intake and our tuner is working to get the idle straightened out very shortly
The Tesla all over the godzilla is kind of weird. Like it's someone else's video..
You replaced the tips that were on there with THOSE? Nooooooo...
very nice Bronco ... so much nicer compared to the crap Bronco they make today ...
Very nice.
Very cool but I'd prefer a 7.3 powerstroke.
That thing is sick
Not GODZILLA!!! Be original 😢😢😢😢

Super clean build...but white steelies?? 😂

Why would you put catalytic converters that far down stream, they won’t ever get hot enough to burn the carbon, I would have left it catless
Those are resonators, not cats
Beautiful rig. I honestly liked the original exhaust better. The after result could’ve done without the ugly tips.
I mean it sounds great, but i'd prefer the way it was before adding the borla's. Man. It sounds good either way.
I wouldve kept the previous tips
He should have just put cats on it since he’s a cruiser and not a racer
This is my dream truck. Sir you did it
Man id like to see one in a old thinderbird or ltd.
Sounds like it's missing or something 🤔
