Hi guys! Just to let you know I released a BETTER version of this video - OBS Studio Tutorial - PERFECT Green Screen V2- ua-cam.com/video/kBj4zY5RmGw/v-deo.html Thanks for ALL the amazing support so far!
Aye bro. Ima do my streaming setup video soon and i wanna get your permission to shoutout your channel with a pop up pic during the video for helping me with this. Thanks
Jesus brother, I just stumble upon your video, I know you from your streams on Rocket League, we've played in the past aswell! Not sure if it was this name, or TiggzGaming :3
Another (somewhat better) way to get rid of the darker green areas of your green screen without blowing out the saturation is to choose "custom" as the colour in the chromakey filter. Then simply choose a mid-tone green between your lightest and darkest greens in your green screen. This will increase the the effective range of greens that your chromakey clips out without forcing you to drastically crunch, wash out and flatten or discolouring yourself in the process. Not to mention it's a lot less work and processing than filtering an already filtered scene. :)
Considering getting a green screen for my gaming channel. My reason is two fold. One for the effect and two for t keeping my home surroundings private. It just seemed so daunting a task to figure out how to implement this. You have broken it down step by step for us. I appreciate the time you took from gaming to explaining just how to do this. Thanks man, this was very helpful and informative.
THANK YOU!!!! I got a green screen for christmas and I couldn't figure out how to use it until I found this; I've been trying to figure it out for eight months and your tutorial was the only one that actually helped
I've had OBS for some time now, but use it off and on. I forgot how powerful OBS really is!Their is a learning curve, but well worth it! Thank You Sir!
WOW!!! So I was headed in the right direction!!! I made my green screen with construction paper & backing board, but the tape was showing up... With what I learned here it should be a solid background!!! You ROCK!!! I subscribed!!!
i been a youtuber for 2 years and a twitch streamer for 1 i just got into using a green screen and i been fighting it for 3 months. This video helped me so very much thank you.
Bro this video was CLUTCH for me 2 years ago. Today I'm grateful that all this data is tracked lol. I was able to quickly search my view history to find it again. I didn't say thanks then. so I will say it now THANKS BROTHER!!!! lol
I think I get it period I have been struggling with some of this and I can’t wait to try your solution. It also brings out how nested scenes can be useful as if you didn’t know that already has probably one of the clear explanations I’ve seen and it teaches me a lot about the way you can put together these things to get results that your equipment normally might not yield. Thank you very much
thanks! This was super helpful. I didn't know I could do that with the scene. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to make it crisp instead of my shirt looking fuzzy
Thank you so much. I'm just now settings things up but not really sure if I'll actually stream. It's exciting to me and I love transitioning to different scenes. I want to get everything perfect before I ever get serious about making live videos.
Thanks for making this demo, I was pretty lost until i realized i had an older version of obs without the filters lol, but overall i understand this very well now thanks to this demo, super excited to make better glass blowing and music playing videos. thanks again, brilliant
My God this is the video I've been missing for so long. Mind blown. And I'm angry at how simple this was and wish I had thought of this sooner. Great tutorial.
legend mate! I took my screen down and used vcam from xsplit but your tutorial helped me improve the vcam quality so wish id have thought of using a color correction
Great video. Did my first stream tonight with green screen and was transparent like a Jedi ghost. Wasn't terrible but it bugged me. Setting up with this method addressed that. TY!
