My husband and i only listen to Christian music, we don't watch secular movies, or watch programs, except for sports thst he watches. I also listen to sermons and teachings all day and through the night. That has helped me learn about the love of God and who i am in Christ, and go deeper into my relationship with Christ and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority Jesus gave me under His Name when I'm attacked by the enemy. Glory to God!🙏🏽💞

As a Christian girl I made a change last year to go from Kpop music to only Christian music. It has definitely change my everyday life. I feel closer to good by worshipping him every day at every moment I can. My mind is focus on him even at work. It has also made me feel confident and I worried less because it reminds he has everything under control. I’m not going back to other type of music. Worshipping him is all I want to do now. He is king!🙌🏽✨.

I listen to Christian Rap all of the time and it definitely gets me hyped up to spread gods word and reminds me of who I am and that I’m one created in the image of god
Have you ever listened to t-bone? I remember listening to him way back in the 90s. 🤣🤣 Demon executor reminds me of the old school rap from the 90s if you're into that. It's def an old school style but back then it was legit and pretty solid. I still like it now 😂😂😂

I love this! There is a Christian radio station that offers a “30 day challenge” and it has truly changed me! I have given up most secular music - it’s horrible frequencies too for us! God bless you!!

I agree with you brother ! I gave my entire life to the Lord back in June 2022. I immediately stopped listening to secular all together because I knew if I wanted to continue growing my relationship with Jesus. I had to cut off anything worldly. Of course it’s hard to avoid when you go to store have dinner etc.. but I do feel a huge difference in my walk. For those who struggle with this, IT IS POSSIBLE. The beginning is always challenging but allow yourself to be loved by the Lord and he will give the strength 🤍
After giving my life to Jesus,i never knew music had a whole lot of effect on me as a believer until I found a powerful bible believing church,where i was taught that.And i joined the prayer team where i was literally told to delete all my circular music and up on till this moment i don't regret it,it has a way of making me feel closer to Jesus

Great commentary 😊❤ I love Christian music I do like jazz and classical music too used to listen to a lot of secular music, but it's gotten extremely raunchy compared to my generations music.
This video is so encouraging to me because I have been trying to listen to Christian music more than secular. I now want to delete every secular song in my playlist because I now have an understanding of why you should listen to Christian music it is so healthy for your soul and it keeps you set apart from this world. And I want to be set apart and continue to be on fire for Jesus wherever I go and in whatever I do.

I carpooled with a Holiness girl to class in nursing school. She always had it playing. It isn't too bad. Kind of grows on you. The modern Christian music I mean. The oldest stuff can send me into a depressive spiral.
My husband only listens to Christian music. He doesn't judge anyone who listens to secular music, but for him music is so influential to him that secular music is not good for him. Plus, he said music is one of the main ways the Lord speaks to him. And over time, I have found myself listening to secular music less and less. And I think he has a point lol. It really does make a big difference on the days where I listen to it vs the days I don't. Oh plus he knows all the great Christian music that no one has ever heard of. For example, he loves heavier music and one of his favorite bands is Demon Hunter. I don't like heavy music, but I love their acoustic stuff. Super deep and intense lyrics that glorify the Lord. Fear is Not my Guide is my favorite of their songs.

I started my journey to listen only gospel music in December last year. I completely agree with you and your points on Gospel Music. Songs that are secular, depressing and vulgar aren't pleasing the spirit nor the mind.

Honestly before I was still living for the world one day I went to church and was listening to a pastor who said worldly music is not good for you he was preaching so hard that I felt that God was speaking to me and my heart so I ended up going home In deleting my playlist because it was just sad depressing music all the time so I turn to gospel and started crying and never heard music like it my life turn around there was many more moments like this for me that just change my life now I am a follower of the one who save me I am his

If you ever do a challenge like this again, probably do it without earbuds, music funneled into your ears for longer than 5 hours can cause permanent damage to your ears.

One thing about the name “Jesus freak” is that it is a derogatory name.
Jesus doesn’t associate his brothers in the kingdom as “freaks”. That what the world calls Gods children. Satan calls God people freaks or fools.

I'm so thankful that I got into the habit of listening to Christian music with my kids when they were young; it's always on our radio when we're in the car and when they go to sleep at night. We all prefer it for the reasons you mentioned!
You're an inspiration cuz I really need help in this area lol I grew up in a Christian house I'll be listening to his Christian music but then I started getting introduced to other music and I liked it. But I mainly stick to Christian music anytime I'm alone in the car basically the only time I don't is if I'm in the gym or with somebody else

My parents used to listen to some secular music back in the days. But before I was born, they threw all the secular music away. So I’ve been raised with christian music only! And I’m so happy about it and thankful! There are so many good christian artists out there, that you don’t need the secular stuff.
It was when I went to school that I heard non-christian music sometimes. And a few of these songs I played at home, but I didn’t feel comfortable listening to it. And I’ve talked with my parents about it. So since that moment I’ve decided to never ever listen non-christian music again and to only focus on the good christian music!❤️😃 Now it’s about twenty years later and my favorite christian music list goes on and on!
A few of my favorite artists are Beckah Shae, TobyMac, T-Bone, Sam Rivera, Capital Kings, Britt Nicole and Chris Howland.😃

You forgot another point. As Christians, we don't need that much music time to distract ourselves and listening for 24h can seem like a hard task - at least for me. We need some quiet time in order to read our bible, hear our Lord and also to say our prayers 😅

I thought it was normal and to spend 24 hours with the AirPods 😂 I spend my entire day and night listening to Christian music, audiobible and preachings all day long while I work and go through my day, this have been my life for more than 2 years

Non Christian here rs. When I work out it varies alot, usually music that upbeat and of course uplifting. But for doing house chores of any kind I definately recomend vintage music (1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s etc). 😁

You should listen to Christian Heavy Metal for 24 hours. I love metal, but I hate the messages that secular bands have. I have been listening to Stryper, Theocracy, and other Christian Metal Bands. Highly reccomend it.
Here in Spain is ilegal to wear earpods while driving jajsja, secular music of course opens hell's doors, our souls just want to praise God all the time. Blessings

Before I was Born Again I made fun of Gospel music. After I was saved I loved listening to Christian music. Now that I am older I still like Christian music but I now love Gospel music especially the old time Gospel songs and listen almost exclusively to it. Old Rugged Cross is a favorite.
