What a fantastic tutorial one of the best tuitions so far. Clear explanation with chord diagrams. Different levels, complete song really enjoyed and learnt a lot many thanks.
Wow I love you both, I'm learning already, I love the mamma's and the popparas, I'm 80 & I was rocking along with them back then & now I can sing ,& play it, too, you two are the best 😍 😀😀😀😀
As an old fart beginner sure it will take me a while to correctly play this classical song. But thanks for the progression method and for your good pedagogy. Intro and instrumental magnify the whole lesson. Thanks a lot! Keep learning more 🎸🤠
This lesson came at the perfect time. I have a concert body rosewood guitar for fingerstyle and i love it for that style. The small body did not sound right for strumming, so i got a dreadnought rosewood yesterday intermediate, was what i could afford and it sounds perfect for this song and another benefit on the full size guitar my f chord sounds good and barre chords are easier, who knew, that opens up songs i passed on before and now i will try, thank you all, for what you do. I can now play and sing in front of people like at the guitar store yesterday. You are a blessing for so many of us older learners. Thanks again.
These lessons are great. I have a question (for anyone) --- during the main chords Am, F, G, C, etc (sans E7 sus - e7) --- do you not play the high E string or maybe mute it? When I use the full chords the high notes just seem out of place. (NOTE: I am a beginner, so it may just be my noobie strumming style too)

Awesome lesson. On the recording the amazing vocals kind of drown-out the instrumentation… so this lesson really helps.! Thank you for posting!
Glad it was helpful!
Very well played my friend!! Love your sound!🎸

I think you could play it either way. If it sounds off while playing with record it’s prob bc of the tuning.
What model Martin is that?
