In light of the recent disruptions in the banking sector, what are the tactical shifts that investment bankers are implementing to ensure their clients' portfolios remain secure? I'm interested in learning about the adaptive measures they're taking to weather these challenging economic times.
Well, I've been researching advisors lately because the market news I've been seeing hasn't been that positive. Who is the individual who helped you, and is he or she still around?
I appreciate the information. After conducting my own research, it is evident that your advisor is highly skilled and knowledgeable. I have reached out to her via email and scheduled a phone call. I am impressed by her expertise and eagerly looking forward to our conversation.

To manage debts effectively, start by paying off high-interest ones like credit cards to save money. Also, save up an emergency fund for unexpected expenses. Once high-interest debts are paid down and you have savings set aside, consider investing in things like stocks and bonds for long-term growth. This can help you earn more than you pay in interest on remaining debts. Getting advice from a financial advisor can make these steps easier and tailored to your situation.

Amidst economic uncertainty, financial resilience is crucial. However, my pressing issue is optimizing my idle $240,000 reserve, which has been stagnant for far too long. Despite my long-term perspective, inflation is eroding my savings and daily market losses are eating into my portfolio's value. I urgently need a strategic solution to revitalize my investments and safeguard my wealth.
If you need advice, consider speaking with a financial advisor. Don't get me wrong, you can do it on your own, but financial advisors have a lot more knowledge and expertise in this area.

In these uncertain times, it's more important than ever to have a solid understanding of how to manage your finances, invest wisely and navigate economic downturns. But my primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $240k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I'm all in on the long term game, but with my savings are lying waste to inflation and my portfolio losing gains everyday, I need a remedy.

From the little insight I have into ibanking at big firms, I feel like this video did not quite capture the awfulness of the industry for entry level workers so I thought I’d add. It's sad how difficult things have become in this recessive economy. I was wondering how to utilise some money I had. I used some of it for e-commerce business, but that sank. I'm thinking of how to protect my $250K-worth stock portfolio from decline, but haven't figured which way to go.
Very difficult indeed, but when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. You have to learn and handle finances properly. you should hire a CFP to help you diversify your assets to include ETFs/index funds/mutual funds and stocks of companies with consistent cash flows. Don't go for penny stocks.

I did the lump sum buy at first, 125k into SCHD, 75k TSLA, 25k VYM, 25K VUG. Now I'm dca buying roughly 2k every week of whatever is on sale, and looking to add more tech positions to my portfolio. I'm looking to hold long term 15 - 20 years, so hopefully my lump sum buy in doesn't bite me in the ass long term.
I was self-managing my portfolio but suffered heavy losses in 2022 and i knew i couldn't continue like that, so i consulted a fiduciary advisor. By restructuring and diversifying my $1.2M portfolio with dividend-paying stocks and ETFs, Mutual funds and REITs, I significantly boosted my portfolio, achieving an annualized gain of 28%.
Interesting. I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress. Being heavily liquid, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?

It's not about being educated but it's about seeking for the help of an Expert with a profitable broker.
This whole series is a masterpiece! (It’s actually really useful knowledge packed into a very entertaining format - brilliant)
Exactly, but most people downplay the roles of financial planners until burnt by there mistakes. Productivity is optimized and keeping up to date strategies and analysis makes it more lucrative. I've been able to navigate the volatilities and scaled up 880k from 220k with professional guidance.
My dude stone cold reporting with a random guy taking a selfie with him. True Journalism. 02:18

The second a stranger got his attention mans folded like a paper chair, but then went ahead and took advantage of the moment. Actual professional work.
Have to love your sarcastic style of curating your own series playing down on investment bankers, consultants, love it❤
As a former associate IB is: completely admin. People use excel but not as much because everything is done via their softwares. You just need to know excel just to double check that the software matches your manual model. Now with AI it is automated. IB is about sales and admin. You need to know someone to get you in. That’s it.

I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Brooke Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
Cryptocurrency investments pay a higher percentage return than any other investment. Mainly Bitcoin ETFs, which mostly pay out every week and have a healthy average return.
It's just that those who are not knowledgeable have to worry about spending time gaining knowledge to earn more than that, it's not about wasting time on cryptocurrency videos or courses, instead seek help from a professional broker who can help you with your investment to earn huge profits. earnings

What are your strategies?
People dismiss the importance of advisors until they are burned by their own emotions.
I remember a couple of summers ago, following my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to assist my business stay alive, so I looked for qualified consultants and came across someone with the highest qualifications. He has helped me raise my reserve from $275k to $850k, despite inflation.
If you are using really a good broker or account manager is easier to earn from the market
Investing with an expert is the best strategy for beginners and busy investors, as most failures and losses in investment usually happen when you invest without proper guidance. I'm speaking from experience.
He is like a teacher who is teaching in a sarcastic vibe but students aren't able to understand the sarcasm instantly 🙂
As an investment banker who also got bullied in high school and doesn’t call $150,000 a buck fifty, I feel very out of place and look forward to reverting back to a poor person some day.

Investing resources and making good returns is not as easy as it seems, there are a lot of things that aren't well taught in schools. The market crisis gave me my first millions, when people stayed away from hard times I made the most of it..many credits goes to Zachery Micah Demers
Anyone have any idea which assets may be experiencing major growth this new year season? A lot of people have been talking about an upcoming bounce this year and I want to invest before equities recover in the stock market. Is now a good time to buy or not?
One great method to enhance your wealth is by working with a skilled portfolio advisor who can research and experience a wide range of markets. The value of the U.S. dollar clearly has an impact on investing in a variety of ways.

That's right. Advisors have information and paths that are not disclosed to the public.. I profited £560k in 2022 under the tutelage of my Fiduciary-counselor. Am I selling? Absolutely not.. I am going to sit back and observe how this all plays out.

I would like to ask, how did you achieve it? I've been trying to stick with index funds. I feel these new interest rate hikes could crash the economy. I'm looking for a better investing strategy, as I have a lump sum that inflation is steadily eating up.

From the little insight I have into ibanking at big firms, I feel like this video did not quite capture the awfulness of the industry for entry level workers so I thought I’d add. Back in 2013 an intern looking to place full-time at Bank of America basically died because of exhaustion and not taking care of himself. A friend of mine was ibanking out of college starting at 7 am and getting home at 11 pm. She was absolutely miserable, but held on because of the prospect of promotion and advancement after 2 years. 10/10 would recommend other career paths
11? Sounds like healthy hours for IB
Sounds like a graduate student's work-life balance.
is that bad ? I already work in banking but in the risk operations department and my goal was to switch to investments because i really love everything related to stock analysis and I already manage my own funds andso far I'm into that career path but I had no idea about the schedule, at risk operations my boss even gets mad at me when he finds out I was working over time

1) hunt for new prospects to a) raise capital, privately or publicly b) restructure balance sheet
2) develop process (often standardized but unique to every prospect) to meet promises => ex: raise $100MM in growth capital
3) run process with A&A's doing the excel, powerpoint work
4) daily meetings with client
5) develop CIM
6) market CIM to a) financial b) strategic investor c) stock offtakers
7) structure deal
8) close and collect % of total deal size
