I followed the same procedure in a smiliar blender but my ice wasnt powdery. The texture was grainy, more like crushed ice and the color was transparent as that of original ice.
What is this blasphemy? You do NOT pack the ice down after you just blended it. Doing that compacts it and makes it refreeze into bits in the container. Just eat the fluffy snow you made! It's eay better that way!

It's good like this as wel... Refreeze it and have your ice treat already prepared it gives it an amazing crunch without hurting the teeth..
