I don’t even remember what/how I ate 6 months ago, now here I am watching the new netshaq video eating herbed chickpeas, buying quart containers from the restaurant supply store, cooking slow roasted salmon and washing stuff with my rubber gloves, u da best

@@timwatkins6559 I think a lot about when Folding Ideas mentioned in his video about cooking media that hardly anyone will attempt recipes they see online, no matter how simple they are - but that slow roasted salmon video was so accessible that it was the first video recipe I ever tried IRL and it set off a chain reaction making me more confident at cooking than I ever have been before. I know it’s just a youtube video and I avoid developing any kind of parasocial relationship with any youtuber, but I’m seriously thankful to him for making that video.

In malaysia, we have ais kacang. It's topped off with rose syrup, condensed milk, red beans, creamed corn, cendol (green rice jelly).
Or for a chocolate version (ais kepal milo), its covered with milo, condensed milk and peanuts. Its really good.

I feel like Trade is one of the only subscription based brands that actually work with your criticisms. No bullshit excess packaging, counts on you to actually make the beans, but gives you knowledge that’s way harder to just Google and provides an ethical service, unlike basically all the other services you’ve lambasted. Though it does surprise me that subscription based services reached out to you at all after how much you’ve pummeled them, the ones you’ve chosen to feature make sense, and I like that degree of consistency. I also like that there’s zero fluff about it being an ad: “Trade has paid to be mentioned at the end of this video.” The rest of the video was great too by the way.

I think the way that you phrased that sponsorship was very well worded "Trade has paid to be mentioned". This lets me know that by supporting them I don't necessarily support you directly but if it's a sponsorship that you trust then it's something that may be worth looking into.

here in the philippines aside from halo-halo we have "mais com yelo" and "saba con yelo", which are shaved ice topped with corn/creamed corn for mais con yelo, and plantains cooked in caramel, sweetener (sugar is more common but condensed milk is also pretty popular), and evaporated milk. Good stuff!

I didn't realize that you can freeze/microwave/dishwash the ones you can get online.
Why am I still using a 20 year mish mash of different tupperwares?

@@PlasmaOne I got "reditainer extreme freeze" they're super cheap and work super well. I love deli containers. I got a whole vid on my channel about it. Big rec.

Bro, great pronunciations of the Korean ingredients/foods! Also, I wasn't sure if Korean shaved ice was going to pop up in this, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see that you know your patbingsu!
